This retro-themed hotel offers a great experience. You can see the Ruins of St. Paul's from the 10th-floor rooftop, and the Senado Square fountain is right downstairs. The staff are warm and friendly. Next time I'm in Macau, I'll definitely stay at the New Central again!
Complimentary minibar (once per stay): See the last four attached photos.

The air conditioning in the room was very loud, whether it was on or off. The other amenities and facilities were pretty good. No adapter was needed, and there were plenty of mirrors. Tea bags, coffee, and a mini-fridge were provided. The room itself was small, but the bathroom was spacious. Next time I visit, I'll definitely stay somewhere else, even though this was an upgraded room. However, I checked reviews for every hotel, and no place in the same price range had quiet air conditioning, so it might be a common issue.
Throughout my stay, I felt incredibly comfortable and relaxed. From the moment I arrived, there was a natural, easygoing atmosphere that quickly put me at ease and helped me settle in.
The location is also ideal – basically everything is within walking distance, and the old town is right nearby, making it super convenient to pop out and explore whenever I wanted.
What's more, the guesthouse's cleanliness was truly impressive: it was exceptionally clean and well-organized, with attention to detail evident everywhere. This made me feel particularly secure and comfortable during my stay.
Overall, there's absolutely nothing to fault; everything was just perfect. I would gladly recommend this place to others.

A good hotel at an affordable price with a very good location. The center of old Macau is very convenient to walk. I would like to mention the excellent cuisine, the breakfasts and dinners are good enough. The disadvantages are: the hotel is very worn out, in our room there was a slight smell from the sewage, also water leaked from the shower hose, which made the water pressure poorly regulated, the hinges of the doors in the closet creaked more than your grandmother. And of course the lack of bottled drinking water- as many people note. The service was out of a surprise, as we noticed that a child was having a birthday, and as a nice bonus, we were given two apples and an orange. I'm sure you would have received more treats in a school cafeteria. Overall, it was a decent stay if not compared to other 5stars hotels.

1. The hotel offers free parking. I arrived around 3 PM and was able to check in immediately. The staff was efficient, but a 1000 MOP deposit was required, which could be paid via Alipay. The hotel also provides USB charging cables, which was a thoughtful touch.
2. The toiletries smelled pleasant. I enjoyed a soak in the hot tub on the terrace in the evening; it offered excellent privacy. There was even a thermometer nearby to monitor the water temperature, making it much more enjoyable than a public pool.
3. There's a large shopping mall downstairs, which was perfect since the weather wasn't great during my stay. I didn't have to go far for entertainment or shopping. Breakfast was at the Swan Lake restaurant, which had delicious food and a great ambiance for photos. I definitely made the right choice.
The hotel's location is excellent. Following the navigation, it's a short walk through a shortcut to Senado Square. If you go before 8 AM, there are fewer tourists, so you can get photos with nobody in the background. The environment is clean and tidy, and the facilities are complete. There are many dining options nearby, and right outside the intersection is the Ying Kee Bakery Snoopy-themed store. The only minor inconvenience during my stay was that I could clearly hear some exotic music at night, but I was so tired from sightseeing that I fell asleep quickly, so it wasn't a major issue.

The bedding was quite comfortable, and the TV channels mainly included local Macau stations, Phoenix TV, and Taiwan's CTi Asia. The toiletries were pleasant, and the hotel itself was very clean. Right downstairs, there's a popular photo spot where you can get a great shot with the Grand Lisboa. It's about a 15-minute walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's. When I checked out, someone helped me load my luggage into the taxi that was hailed for me.
On the downside, the air conditioning was a bit noisy, likely due to the older facilities. My room also had a small door, probably connecting to the room next door. Although it was locked, the soundproofing wasn't great, and I could hear children from the other side.
Considering the price, it offers pretty good value for money (the price on May 5th was half of what it was a few days prior).

The hotel was a great value on a Saturday night, and having fast-food restaurants downstairs was very convenient. The room was much bigger and better than it looked in the pictures. You have to shower in the bathtub, though. The location is good, close to attractions, and there are plenty of taxis right next door to go to Taipa.
The I Fu Hotel provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The I Fu Hotel is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Macau. Macau International Airport is located approximately 10km away from this hotel. In addition, Barra Metro Station is just a short walk away. With Sanzhan Dengxiao Street, Travessa da Paixao and Monte Fort all within a short distance, there is no shortage of things to do in the area. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling alone.

This hotel is so underrated!! This is a 100/10!!! We really loved this hotel, it is too bad we just stayed here for 2 nights as I really loved the place here. It is just 3mins walk away from Ruins of St. Pauls, and there are a lot of stores there — like stores where you can buy pasalubongs such as the famous peanut cookies, egg tarts and such… There are also luxury stores, uni qlo, pop mart, cosmetics stores, pharmacies, bakeries, restaurants and many more… Basically everything you need is just reachable…
We were actually from HongKong prior to staying at Macau for 2 nights and we rode a bus going here to I Fu Hotel and it was so convenient since the hotel is just like 30 steps away from that bus stop!
The rooms were veryyyy niceeee too, the room space were really maximize and designed very well! It is very clean too! The receptionist is very accommodating, helpful, knows how to communicate with us! There is free wi-fi, mini bar and complimentary water — where you can ask for one everyday! Our only problem here was that we were shocked of the deposit fee that was asked to us, it was 2000MOP around 16,000 pesos (500MOP per room), and it we were not prepared since we only withdrew 2000MOP for our transpo and such since we’ll use card… But it’s understandable since they really make sure that you don’t violate the rules like no smoking…
Also as a family of 10, all our 4 rooms were just nearby which made it more efficient.
Overall I would really comeback here!!
The Metropole Hotel Macau is located at the popular commercial and shopping center of Macau, surrounded by numerous major business and tourist attractions, handy to New Yan Han, the largest shopping Center in Macau.
GGuest User2026.05.06
I stayed at Hotel Metropole Macau and unfortunately had a mixed experience. The biggest issue was the condition of the room. It felt quite old, and there was a strong cigarette smell throughout… from the hallway all the way into the room. The odor was persistent and uncomfortable, and it actually triggered my allergies. If you have rhinitis or are sensitive to smoke, I would strongly advise against staying here, as it can really affect your comfort and overall trip. On the positive side, the location is excellent. The hotel is very centrally located, with many major attractions within walking distance, and it’s easy to get around the area.
Breakfast was simple but filling… nothing fancy, but enough to start your day. Overall, the hotel has great potential because of its location, but improvements in cleanliness and eliminating the cigarette smell would make a big difference. Until then, it may not be the best choice for travelers who are sensitive to odors.

YYouyouyouyouStayed for two nights with my child, and it was simply perfect. First off, the design is stunning; the hotel is so beautiful. The room was spacious and very clean. Fresh fruit was provided daily, and the mini-bar was free and fully stocked – we couldn't even finish everything. The turndown service each night was also excellent. Breakfast was a set menu delivered to the room, more than enough, with both Western and Chinese options available. The hotel is also very close to the airport, just a 5-minute taxi ride. All in all, extremely satisfied!
GGuest UserThe Londoner Grand Macau – Suite Experience Review
Our family usually chooses suite rooms when we travel, as we value a good night’s rest to prepare for our next journey. Having stayed at many luxury hotels, we’ve experienced excellent service before—but what we experienced at The Londoner Grand truly stood out on a different level.
During our stay, Michelle consistently checked in on us to make sure everything was comfortable and that we had no inconveniences. Her attentiveness went far beyond standard service—it felt genuinely warm and thoughtful. Every small detail was handled with such care that it redefined what true hospitality means.
The suite itself was exceptional—spacious, elegant, and incredibly comfortable. The bedding was perfect, allowing us to fully relax and recharge. What made our stay even more special was the thoughtful birthday setup prepared for us, which created such a memorable and heartwarming moment for our family.
We were also deeply touched by the personalized touches Michelle prepared. She is unexpected gestures that made us feel truly valued as guests.
The breakfast experience was equally impressive. The selection was outstanding, and even included caviar—something that elevated the entire dining experience and made it feel truly luxurious.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Regie, the Filipino staff member who warmly assisted us with our pickup. His kindness gave us a wonderful first impression and set the tone for the rest of our stay.
Having visited many hotels around the world, this is the first time we have experienced such detailed and heartfelt care in every aspect. Without a doubt, we will choose The Londoner Grand again on our next visit to Macau.
WWandekaixin~~The facilities here are incredibly comprehensive, and the concierge service is top-notch. From the moment we stepped out of the car, everyone was so welcoming and guided us every step of the way. They even have a fun check-in game, though our time was a bit too short to complete all the tasks – we'll definitely have to come back for that! The hygiene was impeccable, and the ambiance can only be described as opulent and very British. We ordered breakfast in the hotel, and the service was outstanding; the service fee was absolutely worth it. The breakfast portions were huge; my child and I couldn't even finish it all. The family room was incredibly comfortable, and my child was thrilled with the complimentary small toys. I spent ages choosing a hotel and saw a lot of negative reviews, but after actually staying here, I honestly have no idea where those bad reviews came from. Shopping is super convenient, and there's a free hotel shuttle to other places. They even thoughtfully tell you the shuttle times. The lady who checked us in was exceptionally beautiful and gentle. After we finished the check-in process, she even walked us to the elevator, afraid we might get lost, and introduced us to all the hotel's offerings: where to eat, where to shop, and where to catch the bus for excursions, including the bus schedule. All in all, it was a truly delightful trip. Macau gave us so many surprises, and my only regret is not staying longer. Next time, I'll definitely allocate more time to Macau. It's so clean everywhere and perfect for quietly appreciating your surroundings and unwinding. I've already shared my itinerary with my colleagues at work, and they've decided to follow my route! The hotel environment is excellent, and the bathtub was very clean. After a quick rinse, my child played in it for two hours and had a blast. Both the children's bed and the adult bed were very comfortable, and the soft pillows were great – they even have specific ones for sleeping and for leaning against. As for power outlets, they were all standard mainland China plugs, which was great. I had even bought an adapter, but didn't need it in either Hong Kong or Macau; Hong Kong hotels provide them, but in Macau, you can plug directly in. My stay at The Parisian this time was fantastic, looking forward to the next visit! Because I had to take a ferry back to Shenzhen and wasn't sure how to get there on my first visit, I called the front desk. They transferred me to the concierge, and everyone was incredibly enthusiastic and detailed, better than many apps. All my questions were answered. I called the front desk several times, and they were always so detailed and resolved all my issues. Loved it! Thank you!
GGuest UserOverall, the Grand Lisboa Palace Macau offers a great experience. The rooms are spacious and brand new, with elegant New Chinese-style decor. The garden is also a beautiful spot for photos. The butler service is attentive and responsive, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. Its location is a bit off the beaten path, so transportation primarily relies on the shuttle bus. Check-in can be a bit slow during peak hours. However, it offers good value for money and is highly recommended for a vacation stay.
AAnonymous UserFirst off, the room was absolutely massive! In Macau, where space is a premium, the W really isn't shy about giving you room to breathe. We could spread out our suitcases without them getting in the way, and there was a separate lounge area with a super comfy beanbag chair. The bathroom had dual sinks, and the shower was incredibly spacious too. But what really blew me away was the night view from the window! We were on a higher floor, right opposite the bustling Taipa district. When the lights came on at night, it was like the whole city transformed into a dazzling galaxy – the '8' Ferris wheel at Studio City, the Parisian Eiffel Tower... it was all there. Turning off the room lights and sitting by the window, watching the trails of car lights, felt truly magical and made for some amazing photos! And I have to rave about the breakfast! I honestly didn't have high expectations for hotel breakfast, but I was completely won over by the seafood congee. The congee base was incredibly smooth, and they were incredibly generous with the fresh prawns and scallops – I had three bowls! There was also freshly made wonton noodles with perfectly springy bamboo noodles. They even had Portuguese egg tarts and Serradura (sawdust pudding), so breakfast felt as satisfying as an afternoon tea.
SShiny 831I chose to stay here specifically for the full L'Occitane amenities. The deluxe twin room was incredibly spacious, almost like a small apartment. It's a shame that for two people, we only received one complimentary set of amenities. The room decor had warm tones, making the overall atmosphere very cozy, and the bed was comfortable. One minor flaw I noticed was that the curtains felt a bit coarse and dated. After experiencing the incredibly thoughtful service of five-star hotels, the service here felt noticeably less impressive.
There are some complementary shops downstairs in the hotel, which are good for a quick browse and bite. The lack of entertainment facilities might be the hotel's biggest 'feature.' If you're looking for good value for money, this place is definitely a solid choice. It's right next to Grand Lisboa Palace, and you can easily take a car there. I didn't find it inconvenient at all. The area isn't that big. To get to central areas like The Venetian, a taxi ride would just be slightly more than the starting fare.
GGuest UserFirst off, the lobby was very clean and comfortable, and the front desk service was excellent—the staff spoke standard Mandarin and were very patient. The room layout was spacious, clean, and tidy. I stayed for three days, and they cleaned the room and provided complimentary water every day! The hotel's location is also superb, with a bus stop right downstairs, making travel very convenient! There are also many great restaurants nearby. I highly recommend Yang Zhi Jin Lao, which is just downstairs from the hotel. Overall, my Macau trip experience was fantastic, and I'll definitely choose ECARD Hotels again on my next visit to Macau!
MMelanyyyy04Genuinely, I stayed at quite a number of hotels in Macau but this one was my favorite 🤩, the location is perfect, taxis pass by almost every 10 mins, they have a free shuttle bus, the pool area is beautiful, the gym is 24/7, the rooms are clean and beautiful, the service was good but only for some staff members, some staff members seemed a bit arrogant, I remember I called in to ask for some medicine, I know the hotel doesn’t have medicine but little help would have mattered such as helping the guest purchase and I can Pay for the extra help but the only thing they told me was to go to the pharmacy and I didn’t have strength to even walk, I felt like I was going to faint and I didn’t know anyone within Macau, it was only one of the staff members, that over heard my conversation with the other staff and offered me some medicine and even gave me water and kept checking up on me, I really appreciated that so much because I don’t know how I would have left the place without his help, I wish i remembered his name but the medicine was from Philippines so I assume he is from the Philippines. Away from that I remember Charles too, who also had good customer service, overall the hotel is good but other staff members need to pay more attention to service.
GGuest UserI brought my child to Macau for a competition and only stayed one night. This room type has one large bed and a sofa bed, which was perfect for 2 adults and 1 child. The room was clean and quite spacious. It's very close to the Border Gate and Qingmao Port, just a 13-minute walk away. Across the road downstairs is the Lai Lai Supermarket, and on the second floor of the hotel, there's a Chinese restaurant with reasonable prices, making it very convenient. Both the front desk and room service staff spoke Mandarin and were very friendly.
GGuest UserThe hygiene is good, and the sea-view breakfast environment is pleasant. It's convenient to get there by taking the Galaxy Shuttle and crossing the skybridge after getting off. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to The Venetian, but it only runs a few times a day. The facilities are a bit old, especially the hairdryer. A deposit of 500 MOP is required, payable only by Alipay or cash, WeChat is not accepted. The service is decent; I didn't have a power adapter for charging, and they sent one up immediately.
