Hotels near DFS Garlleria, Macau

I chose this hotel because of Zaha's design, and I was truly amazed by the futuristic setting. All the furniture and amenities in the room were very high-quality, and the perfume, hand cream, and toiletries had a fresh and pleasant scent. Interestingly, there was a picture book in the room that detailed the architectural design and construction process. When ordering room service, a dining table is brought in, and the service is excellent and responsive. The breakfast environment and taste are also fantastic – highly recommended. The only minor downside was that the bathtub wasn't clean; it felt gritty to the touch. Overall, I really loved this hotel and it's definitely worth staying at when in Macau. If I have the chance (and money) in the future, I'll come again and also try the Michelin-starred restaurant on the third floor.

I've always wanted to stay at Hotel Okura, but it's so hard to get a reservation. I finally managed to book a two-night, three-day stay last week, and I was so impressed by the meticulous and thoughtful service. I have to give it a big thumbs up: 1. Before checking in, I emailed the hotel to let them know it was my husband's birthday in June and asked for some birthday decorations. They replied quickly, and to my surprise, they even sent a delicious matcha cake! [Strong] 2. The hotel lobby is open and airy with a simple, understated design. The bamboo garden courtyard is serene and luxurious, creating a wonderful ambiance. The front desk staff are all attractive and friendly. When we checked in, Johnny thoughtfully extended our check-out time to 1 PM. When we checked out, Alsen proactively asked about our stay and even gave us a hotel fridge magnet. The service from both gentlemen was truly exceptional. 3. The guest room layout is well-designed, comfortable, and practical. The Japanese design details are perfectly executed. The tea set is very practical, and there were also candies and fruit, with complimentary beverages. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job cleaning and thoughtfully organized all my jewelry and cosmetics. It's been years since I've seen such a comprehensive turndown service – water, slippers, and a bathmat were all meticulously placed, and they even provided a sleep spray and paper cranes. Coming back to a tidy room every day after enjoying the Grand Resort Deck was incredibly comforting. 4. I've already decided to bring my mom to Hotel Okura next time, and I hope it will be easier to book then. I do wish the trash can in the bathroom was a bit bigger. All in all, my stay at Hotel Okura was very pleasant and excellent.

It was a great experience for my family specially with my daughter! She loved the grand resort deck so much! Room in Andaz was amazing clean and staffs are very hospitable most Specially Rea at the reception. She was incredibly professional and efficient and spend time to introduce every places we could enjoy during our stay! Thanks to her we had a lot of fun! Ben also was amazing and helpful with our luggage.

This is a relatively new hotel in Macau with excellent and modern facilities. However, the location is a bit out of the way. It's about a ten-minute walk to the Light Rail station, and the MT4 bus to the old town stops right in front of the hotel. For trips to the airport, I'd recommend taking a taxi. Pros: The service was great, and the room facilities and decor were very nice. The desk had a standard Chinese power outlet, and the bedside outlets even came with international adapters. All the bath products were L'Occitane. However, even in this room, I couldn't escape the typical southern humidity. The pleasant scent of the L'Occitane toiletries couldn't quite mask the damp smell. So, I'd advise setting your expectations accordingly; L'Occitane products won't solve the issue of a musty odor in the room.

The hotel environment and facilities are excellent, and the staff are all young and very friendly. It feels safe and quiet, even for a solo traveler. No need for a power adapter, as there are USB outlets. The bus stop downstairs is super convenient, getting you to the airport, Galaxy Arena, and Coloane in about half an hour. Plus, there's a 'Yang Zhi Jin Lao' (dessert shop) and local eateries right next door, and a 7-Eleven just 50 meters away. The hotel also provided a complimentary breakfast for one day, with a fixed menu which was convenient. Overall, it's a great value-for-money hotel. The only minor point is that I wish they would replace or clean the anti-slip mat in the bathroom.

Overall, it was comfortable, and the infinity pool was truly beautiful. Although the location isn't in the concentrated hotel area near Galaxy, it's not too far from the Jockey Club Light Rail Station. Near the Jockey Club Station, there are many great food options, including the Michelin-recognized old eatery Wing Kee. There's also a Supermarket and convenience stores; I really like that commercial area. It's perfectly fine to walk slowly (about 15-20 minutes). The hotel offers shuttle buses to Venetian and also to Macau Airport, but it takes a roundabout route. It's better to take a taxi or catch a bus from Venetian. There are also shuttle buses to Senado Square (near the Ruins of St. Paul's). The frequency isn't super high, but it's manageable if integrated into your itinerary. Walking for about 20 minutes also gets you to Broadway Macau, and crossing the pedestrian bridge leads directly to Galaxy. For those who don't mind walking, it's a good option. The hotel is a bit high-tech, with many touch-sensitive controls. However, for some reason, two out of the three rooms we booked had TVs that stopped working midway through our stay. We called IT to fix them, and they did get repaired, but it didn't last long. We just left them on for the sound. The two beds pushed together were very large and could comfortably sleep three people. Overall, it was quite good, and the weekday prices were also decent.

The hotel is nestled by mountains and the sea, offering stunning views 👍. Getting to Macau from Hong Kong via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge is very convenient. Sitting on the 'Golden Bus' (shuttle bus) and admiring the spectacular bridge and endless ocean is truly a delight. On this trip across the sea, I was lucky enough to spot some dolphins. These sea sprites were incredibly cute, but unfortunately, my hands weren't fast enough to capture them flipping around, so I missed the chance to photograph them. All I can do is wish these sprites a long and happy life 🙏.

The Waldo Hotel Macau boasts a convenient location, close to the Golden Lotus Square and the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal, making travel easy. The rooms are spacious and offer good value for money, while the service is decent. Although the facilities are a bit dated and soundproofing isn't great, its prime location makes it a practical choice for guests prioritizing convenience.

The environment is beautiful and clean, and it's super close to the border crossing, making it very convenient for getting around. There's plenty of shopping and a great variety of delicious and affordable food nearby – truly a wonderful spot! The rooms are well-equipped, and they offer a rich and diverse breakfast. Plus, you get an 15% discount on Victoria's cookies, a Macau specialty!

The location is good, by the river with a nice view. The hygiene conditions are decent, but the facilities are a bit old. It's an okay place to stay, mainly depending on the price. Usually, the price is very affordable. I booked it late at night and only stayed for a few hours, but then the price was hiked up. I paid about 150-160 more than the usual price, which made it less value for money.
