Check-in is 3pm and we arrived at 3pm but the room was only ready at almost 4pm. The story was that it was cleaned already but ”awaiting inspection”. We were handed 2 bar coupons with a blithe apology in rapid fire French for our 50 min wait. The vacuuming in the room left much to be desired. When we got into the room on the 1st day, there was a pistachio at the side of the bed. My sister's dust allergy was triggered throughout our 4 day stay. When we opted for housekeeping on the 3rd of the 4 days we stayed, the same pistachio remained there after the cleaning staff were done. Towels and bed linens were refreshed but the coffee/tea and bathroom amenities were not. If you choose the Deluxe twin room like we did, please note that the room is 24 metre square and there is only room to open up one medium sized suitcase on the ground. Our other suitcase had to be accessed via the wardrobe which was spacious enough to keep the 2nd suitcase in. Location wise, it's ideal and a stone's throw from Grand Place - the historic city centre, and many shops and good brasseries. It's a 10 min uphill walk from the hotel to the nearest train station called Brussel Centraal / Bruxelles-Midi which will bring you straight to the Brussels Airport in 17 min on the direct train (1st class carriage €12.10). The buffet breakfast is plentiful and of good quality (with eggs cooked to order) in a nice space with a courtyard view crewed by pleasant staff fluent in English. The bar has a relaxing ambience with an outdoor view and affordable drinks. My guide is always how much the increasingly rare digestif liqueur Chartreuse Verte costs. It was €14 per pour. Note : You get a free coupon for a soft drink/coffee/beer/wine if you pass up on room cleaning. If you have a short stay, you should as there wasn't much cleaning done.

Best location ever. It is right next to the Grote Market and just 2 mins walk to the Brussels Central Station. Close proximities to all the attractions and restaurant. The hotel is clean and well sound-proofed. The staff were very helpful with early check-in. I have left my necklaces in the hotel room before leaving brussels and wrote in to the hotel which replied promptly that they have found it and will arrange for the courier of my necklace to my home country. Really appreciate their help. The only downside is that they didnt provide indoor slippers. It costs 5 euros for a pair.

Location is generally good and a just few steps to Metro from where you could connect to Brussels Midi in around 20 mins. Near shops/small restaurants. Around 15-20 mins away from Grand Place which is my favourite historical attraction in Brussels, surrounded by many eating places and shops. The lounge smells so nice, inviting. Staff are friendly and helpful. Clean, fresh-smelling simple room/toilet. Felt like Japanese themed. Good water pressure. Water may spill out of the cubicle as it is half open. You need to move to the left of the shower cubicle to ensure water wont splash outside. Nespresso machine provided for coffee lovers like me. 4 pods free then buy the rest that you’d need for a fair price, I think. The table is quite small but they provided an extra stool. Has a properly working air-conditioning system. Green-coloured wall panels, quite relaxing to the eyes. The space is adequate. Bed is quite comfortable. Ensure to put the “Do not disturb sign” as you may be awakened by staff cleaning the other rooms which happened after the first night. Windows couldnt be opened. Had a bit of sneezing during day 2 but room was serviced which helped a lot. A tablet was provided where you could request for extra amenities. It was very useful. Was quite pleased to have stayed here. Will recommend.

This hotel is really old... Don't let the five-star rating fool you, it feels more like a three-star. The elevator is incredibly slow, from 1999! The furniture in the room is also very dated. The front desk sells bottled water in glass bottles for 8 euros a pop – ridiculous. As our Belgian client told us, the hotel's location is right between a safe area and an unsafe one. It's close to the light rail, but there's no elevator from the light rail station to the street level, which is quite annoying. Walking to the city center is fairly convenient though. For the price, it offers good value for money; other hotels in the same area are more expensive.

Always a super pleasant stay with an extremely friendly team. The rooms are spacious and spotless. A great bonus is continuous access to a bean-to-cup coffee machine, tea, and herbal infusions on all floors. Plus, I really love the neighborhood; it's full of cool cafes and restaurants.

Lovely boutique hotel in a perfect location steps away from Grand Place, clean, comfortable, nice staff. Quirky little decor details made it special. Great for a short break.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right near Brussels' Grand Place – literally a two-minute walk away. There are tons of restaurants and shops nearby, making it super convenient. The room itself was surprisingly spacious, which is a rare find in Europe, and the facilities were great. Having a kettle was a huge plus for us. We stayed for two nights, and the steak restaurant directly across from the hotel entrance was amazing – delicious and not expensive, so it was incredibly convenient to grab a meal right outside. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money and I highly recommend it!

The hotel is very close to FlixBus bus stop! There is a police station and halal supermarket for Muslim community behind the hotel. The hotel should consider having 2 front desk workers at a time instead of just 1 person manning the front desk. When there are group of people talking and running around at the hotel room corridor, I couldn’t find the front desk person to solve the problem as there was no one at the front desk.

I arrived early and was fortunately allowed to check in ahead of time. The check-in process was fine overall, and although the hotel felt a bit like a maze, I was given directions to my room. The lift was very small and quite old, so I chose not to use it again afterward. The hotel interior was beautiful and matched the Moroccan-inspired vibe shown online. Even the hallway had a pleasant smell, which added to the atmosphere. However, my room was located in the basement and required going down a few small stairs. It was a bit dark and honestly felt slightly unsettling at times. The lighting inside the room was also quite dim. The room appeared clean, although there was a woody smell and the linens seemed a little damp, or at least smelled that way. On the positive side, the toilet was clean and had all the expected amenities, and the shower was excellent with hot water warming up quickly. I also appreciated being allowed to leave my bag after checkout, although I was simply told to leave it in the corner. The staff and owner were friendly throughout my stay, and I was even offered to use the toilet when I returned later to collect my luggage, which was thoughtful. The highlight of the hotel is definitely its excellent location, with close proximity to both the Grand Place and the train station.
