Hotels near Spittelberg, Vienna

"I booked this hotel to go to a football match so placed stock on its location near the train station and metro. The corridors are a little run down but the room was clean and the staff were very helpful. The bathroom had great water pressure (a bug bear of mine) and the shower head can be raised to a good height. The Neubau neighbourhood really impressed me and had some lovely boutique stores, 2nd hand shops and coffee places. The area had a really relaxed vibe and the as really walkable. Overall, I’d happily come back for another visit given the price, cleanliness and the convenience."

"I stayed at the Riess City Hotel Vienna. It's very close to a Spar supermarket and not far from the inner city, about a 20-minute walk. A BOLT taxi ride was around 100 RMB. The hotel feels more like a guesthouse, with a strong unique personality. The rooms are named after different wineries. I booked a family room, which was very spacious. Slippers, shower gel, and shampoo were provided, and the room was cleaned daily, which was great. However, there was no kettle, toothpaste, or toothbrush. The hotel staff are generally young and few in number; the same group handles front desk, F&B, housekeeping, and maintenance. The hotel seems to be an old building, renovated in 2025. After entering the hotel, you need to go up a small flight of stairs to reach the front desk. But if you have luggage, there's a handbell, and staff will come down to help. Breakfast is from 7 am to 11 am, which is a generous timeframe, but the food is Western-style with lots of cheese, various breads, and cold cuts. The most unique feature of the hotel is probably its elevator, which has a pull-door entrance and a very retro feel."

"had a very pleasant stay at Roomz Hotel. The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable, making it a great place to relax after a long day. The location is excellent, with a metro station just a short walk away and a supermarket nearby, which was very convenient. The staff were always kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The only thing missing was a refrigerator and a kettle in the room. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you to the wonderful staff for your great hospitality!"

"We arrived late Sunday evening after a very long day of travel. The front desk agent was extremely pleasant and helpful. Room was spacious, clean and loved the bathrobes. Location was terrific. In heart of center city. My college age daughters and I would highly recommend this hotel for a trip to Vienna."

"Had a really enjoyable stay at Hotel Motto. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and helped us out out when requested. The welcome drink on arrival was also a nice touch. Would definitely visit again."

"Absolutely amazing hotel! Service, food, room decor was impeccable. We stayed as a family of 4 in one of the family suites, the decoration was incredible and super spacious. Definitely one of if not the best hotel we’ve stayed in, and that’s coming from someone who I’d consider is well travelled! Recommended to anyone coming to Vienna. Close to famous attractions as well and bunch of good food spots around. Lotte was especially wonderful!"

"The hotel is very well located, in a convenient area close to the main attractions. The rooms are fine and quiet. One thing to keep in mind is that the reception is located in a different area from the rooms."

"If you're visiting Vienna, you absolutely must add MOOONS Vienna, this stylish boutique hotel, to your must-stay list! The building's exterior is subtly all-black, but features incredibly eye-catching, massive circular windows. Step into your room, and that iconic 'moon window' acts like a natural picture frame, seamlessly integrating Vienna's cityscapes or the stunning inner courtyard directly into your room. Every photo you snap for your social media feed will look like it came straight out of a magazine."

"Perfect stay in the hart of Vienna, was a great surprise the balcony, very helpful receptionist. Thank you "
