Highly enjoyed my entire 6-day stay at the Trend Hotel! The front desk (and the housekeeping too) was friendly and welcoming – they were willing to accommodate our request for two single beds, and even let us check in 3 hours early at 12pm! The room was very spacious and clean with sufficient lighting, and I love that there was a fridge. Would be great if the power outlets were located more closely to the bedside for more convenient phone-charging at night (we could only locate 2 outlets by the work desk). The hotel is conveniently located within a 3-min walking distance to several public transit options, including Rennweg railway station (taking you to the airport, city center) and Tram 71 (taking you to the city center). Loved that we could easily access different food options in the area (Austrian restaurants, kebab stands), supermarkets (Lidl), as well as the Belvedere palace. I will definitely stay here again!

Location: Super convenient, just about 100 meters from the subway station exit and near the Ring.
Facilities: It's a traditional hotel, small but charming. The rooms aren't huge, but they're perfectly sufficient for a single guest. Breakfast is good – not a vast selection, but all the essentials are covered. The quiet, elegant ambiance is enhanced by classical background music (think J.S. Bach).
Overall: Highly recommended for solo travelers.

Convenient Solo Stay Near Vienna Main Station
The Location: This property is very close to Vienna Main Station (Wien Hauptbahnhof), making it highly convenient, especially for solo travelers.
Station Exit Tip: Because the main station is massive, it is easy to take the wrong exit and end up walking a long way around. It takes a bit of figuring out-I only mastered it after 2–3 train rides-but once you find the correct exit, the hotel is just a short walk away.
Property Condition: Despite being a very popular spot with many tourists coming and going, the property is remarkably well-maintained and clean.
With its great upkeep and prime access to transit, I would recommend this as a practical and comfortable choice for solo travelers.

This was my second time in Vienna in a month and a half. Knowing how convenient this hotel is and how much I enjoyed their breakfast from my first stay, I looked at almost no other hotel but booked to stay here. Because I didn't get enough of Vienna on the first visit, this time I stayed for the whole week. My room was facing the courtyard, offering beautiful views of the surroundings and no noise from the traffic (my previous room had a city view). Breakfast was as good as before. To my surprise, the Sri Lankan lady recognized me! That was a good feeling, knowing that someone remembered you. My check-in was done by Ayra (if I got her name right). She was lovely; I felt really welcomed by her, not only during check-in but at other times too. When she saw me, she greeted me and asked about my day. Out of the six nights' stay, I didn't get to dine in for breakfast on two mornings as I left early at 6 am to take a trip to Hallstatt and to Bratislava on another day. The staff were kind enough to suggest a takeaway breakfast set for me, which they provided on both days! The only thing I wished could have been better on this trip was how my room was made up while I was away. On two separate occasions, the bed didn't look like it was made up but rather just by folding the blanket and placing the pillows together. The bathroom too didn't feel like it was cleaned but just by replacing the towels. Nonetheless, I still like this hotel because of the comfort, the breakfast, and of course, the location, which is of utmost importance to me when I travel. It's barely a 5-minute walk to some of the most important places - Wien Hbf, Belvedere, U-Bahn line, and many more!

I booked a triple room for 3 adults and first I was given a room with one bed only, so, was forced to to get back to the reception with all the things and then they gave me a room with 2 beds and a smaller folding bed. Please pay attention, that they call 15m room - ”triple”.
Also, instead of proper door to the bath room, there was a sliding glass door with a hole instead of a handle which didn't provide any privacy.
All the facilities were very low, like for small kids, shower cabin is extremely small, no toiletries.
Poor pillows, bad matrasses.
To switch AC on/off you have to call to the reception.

We appreciated especially the room cleanliness and the perfect location of the hotel. The breakfast was nice and abundant: maybe it would have been better to have some espresso included in the beverage package. The beds were comfortable enough.
I would suggest to add some instructions for the AC system usage and room temperature setting.
I found a little bit uncomfortable the absence of a shower box; being a open shower niche, water tends to splash outside on the floor.

Smartments just within the walking distance from Wein Hbf, via the entrance near to Plaftorm 9,10,11 there, just next to SPAR Pronto mart. Inside the main train station you can find all you need so is very convenience. The hotel was highly with self serve register and check-in upon the arrival. However, there’s a receptionist at the front counter was very helpful, assigned the room for me adequately, truly appreciated. The room was equipped all your need just like the second home. WiFi and TV works well, except no aircon in the room, only with one small tower fan so may need to open the window during summer time. Overall is good stay. Thank you.
The Leonardo Hotel Vienna Hauptbahnhof is located directly opposite Vienna’s Main Railway Station and offers modern rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi access. An underground station of the line U1 providing connection to the city centre is just a short walk away.

Guests can have a drink or a small snack at the bar of Leonardo Hotel Vienna Hauptbahnhof, and several restaurants and cafés are in the immediate vicinity. Belvedere Palace is a 15-minute walk away.

The hotel is directly opposite the train station, which was incredibly convenient for my travels to Budapest and Prague. It's about a 20-minute tram ride to the city center and the cathedral, and within walking distance of the Belvedere Palace and the Musikverein (Golden Hall).
The hotel breakfast was good.
The facilities are decent, though they only provide a 2-in-1 shampoo and shower gel, which is a bit... well, not ideal, but overall it was good and I'd still choose to stay here again. As for water, you have to go downstairs to fill up bottles yourself; it's not provided in the room.

FFreedom Looks Like This2026.04.12
The hotel is centrally located for shopping and sightseeing, about 20 min by bus from the main train station. The music theme is delightful although the Bassline room is compact. The good thing is there are lots of hooks in addition to hangers.
I enjoyed some old school Motown and Caribbean music, borrowing records from reception.
While the amenities in the room are limited, it’s easy to contact the staff by WhatApp and pick up items like robes, slippers, shower caps from the front desk.
The room is only cleaned in request which is fine. But I think the cleanliness could use some attention. There was dust around the plugs in the room and piles of towels in the sauna. One of the guests had to ask for more towels and glasses there.
The gym is fine. Dumbbells up to 22kg and 3 cardio equipments as well as some machines.
Breakfast has great variety. Omelettes to order as well as both warm and cold food.
All the staff was really friendly and helpful.

The room is quite spacious, and the location is excellent. It's only about a 2-minute walk from the train station. On the first floor, there's free water and coffee available. The bathroom amenities are a 3-in-1 body, shampoo, and hand wash. The hairdryer is wall-mounted, and there are outlets next to the bed. The bed itself is quite comfortable. If you need to catch a train or go to the airport, this location is perfect. The water pressure in the bathroom is a bit low, but the showerhead's massage mode is very comfortable. There's no fridge or kettle in the room, but you can get hot water from the first floor. Overall, it's great value for money.

MMagnusThis hotel is conveniently located opposite a large shopping mall, making dining and shopping very easy. The mall also has a subway station directly connected to Vienna Airport. The main shopping street is only about a ten-minute walk away.
GGuest UserI booked a family room for 4 people, 2 adults and 2 children. They don't allow an additional child. The location is very close to the main train station, and you can also walk to Belvedere Palace. There's a bus stop near Belvedere Palace that's much more convenient than taking the subway, as it goes directly to all the popular attractions in the Old Town, like the Musikverein, Karlskirche, Hofburg, museums, and City Hall… I only discovered this on the day we left! 😅 I bought a 48-hour transport pass, which felt like a better deal than the City Card, as the latter mainly offers discounts on attractions that you might not even use. With the transport pass, taking the train from the main station to the airport only costs 2.2 euros (half price for children). It takes 16 minutes to get to the airport, and even without the pass, it's not expensive – if I remember correctly, it's 2.9 euros. The hotel offers almost no service; it's mainly self-service. Housekeeping is supposedly every four days. Since we only stayed for 2 nights, it was acceptable, but I imagine it would be a bit uncomfortable for a longer stay.
YYukiLily(*´∀`*)The hotel's location is excellent! There's a bridge nearby that leads directly to the city center, and it's about a 15-minute walk to the Black Death Tower, making it very convenient for getting around.
The service and facilities are genuinely great. Check-in was fast and smooth, and the staff were very polite, making me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. The facilities are quite comprehensive; there's a steamer for ironing clothes, and the room has a fridge stocked with still water, sparkling water, and other drinks, which are replenished during room cleaning – a thoughtful touch. Slippers are also provided, and the bathroom amenities are well-stocked.
The room size is just right. There's enough space to open a suitcase and still have room to sit and relax without feeling cramped.
A nice bonus is the JBL alarm clock in the room, which can connect via Bluetooth to play music. It's perfect for listening to music when waking up in the morning or unwinding at night.
DDomicchaI was worried about the time it would take to get around since it's a bit far from the old town, but there's a bus stop right in front and a tram stop a short walk away, so getting around was absolutely no problem. The room, although a bit dated, was kept very clean, and I had a comfortable stay. I also used the breakfast service, and the selection was much better than I expected. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay.
GGuest UserThe location is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk to the main train station, and there are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby. When we arrived, KLM had lost our luggage, and when I told the front desk lady, she was incredibly kind. She gave us lots of toiletries, slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste, and even told us where to buy emergency clothes. She was super enthusiastic! The room was a bit small for two people, but considering the cheap price, it was still great value for money.
FFEIBecause I lived in a hotel in Europe for the first time, I was accustomed to the domestic habits and did not bring slippers. As a result, the restaurant did not provide it. Without the converter, the result was not provided by the restaurant, so I bought a difference of 12.9 euros. Ok! If you live in a European hotel, you must bring the necessary items, otherwise you will have a bad point. The distance from the Schönbrunn Palace is not there, but there is no breakfast shop. We had to go to the Golden Arch in one subway station and then to the Schönbrunn Palace in the subway. The hotel is very quiet, the morning is the window, wake us up.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very centrally located in Vienna. The atmosphere and the staff are perfect. I would especially like to mention these very nice and friendly employees:
Mrs. Viktoria
Mr. Fabian
Mr. Alexej
Mr. Leon
Mr. Tobi.
Thank you very much and we'll be back next time!
Best wishes from Leipzig
Alexander Beresan
GGuest UserThe room was clean and quite spacious. Tram No. 25 is right outside the hotel, making public transport very convenient. There's also a Billa supermarket and McDonald's nearby, which makes dining options very accessible.
UU38066Good design concept, with very well located apart next to the metro and trams, also with walking distance to HBF.
Superclean!
Good staff for cooking.
The big inconvenience has been that there is only one auto check-in machine and it didn't work at 14:00 when everyone was there to try to allocate. The on-line check-in works but doesn't provides any QR thoufh their text claims so (all the ten persons there had the same situation). And the rooms were finally available at 14:20, only then the machine started to delivee keys.
I will be back and hope this swlf-service peoblem no longwr exists.
LLeonardo Sant AnnaWell-located apartment, with several lines within a 5-minute walk. Paid parking nearby using PAYUCA.
The small apartment had a slightly uncomfortable bed, but the bathroom had excellent shower pressure and temperature.
We were slightly inconvenienced upon arrival because the room we had been assigned smelled of cigarette smoke, even though smoking is prohibited. The cleaning staff was going to clean it again, but we asked if we could move. They immediately moved us to a slightly smaller room, but we were better served.
The kitchen in the new room didn't work; one burner wasn't working, and the other was even broken.
But since we had already moved in and only noticed it late at night, we didn't want to ask them again. There was no Wi-Fi.
The staff was very friendly and quick.
