"Sheraton Lagos Hotel is at the top of this business. Our check-in was smooth and rooms were ready without delayed. I stayed at the top floor Rm 528 and it's lovely. I felt somehow lonely missing my family while coming for our society event. However, the beautiful "welcoming" art work I met in my room set me in a relax mood. Securities were respectful, gallant and helpful, restaurants ladies with beautiful smiles, thanks to Omolade, Mary and others. Housekeeping always on point and on time, thanks to mr. Amos, supervior on my floor for his follow-up to make the room ready before we finish our daily session, my colleague in 536 as well testify on this. The housekeeping are always ready to assist. Would surly visit again with my family this time."

"Rooms looked good and I booked a junior suite at this hotel via my airline for December since Sept ahead of the busy season. Since I was in town in Sept, I walked in to see the room in person and confirm my reservation. I was told confirmed. Prior to arriving in December I was getting multiple calls from the hotel staff to confirm I still needed the reservation, I confirmed again. When I finally arrived late in the night for checkin, I was told they did not have the room I booked but the Presidential suite was available for 3x higher price. The hotel staff Michael was non chalant about this and I waited for over 4 hours asking to speak with the hotel manager, (no luck) and reaching out to my airline whom I made the reservation with. I was told the junior suite would be available in a few fees if I wanted to move but not for the entire period for which I booked. I tried waiting at the 24-hr restuarant, another negative experience with staff behaving like I came to disturb them. I saw a cockroach on the coach next me and I canceled my order and left. I complained to the staff but I guess they were not bothered. They had resold my hotel reservation at a higher December rate. Fragmented, poor customer service and the staff seemed to be running their own rackets for the highest bidder! Terrible service and experience."

"I stayed here for one night. The hotel is next to the main Eko hotel and a newer version. The ambiance is nice and hotel is located in Victoria Island of Lagos. It is a popular hotel and also very busy. Check in and check out was a breeze. Breakfast was ok, many options. My room was big but there wasn’t any hot water."

"I went in to this hotel upon strong recommendation from a friend, I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in. I stayed in the Royal Suite which was everything I expected and more. The staff were very friendly, professional and courteous. The entire hotel is very clean, the rooms nicely appointed and the decor very fitting. The gym met my workout needs. The breakfast options are somewhat limited, but one could always find something to eat from the buffet. The restaurant serves very good food for lunch and dinner, my guests and I enjoyed all the food we ordered. The TV channels definitely need to be clearer and finally the hotel needs to do away with the cheap toilet papers in the toilets/bathrooms. These are the reasons for not getting 5 points. I will definitely return to the hotel anytime I am back in Lagos"

"While the hotel staff were consistently polite, warm, and welcoming, the overall experience was highly disappointing. I cannot recommend this hotel.The room itself was entirely unremarkable, but the state of the bathroom was unacceptable. It was rusted from floor to ceiling. Rust actually flakes and drops into the sink from the roof. Furthermore, the entire bathroom emitted a strong, foul odor.The shower curtain is a major health hazard and needs to be replaced or thoroughly washed. It reeks of urine and has visible, highly concerning stains on it. Because the curtain hangs directly against the toilet seat, it is impossible to use the toilet without the contaminated fabric resting against your body. Additionally, the bathroom trash bin is heavily rusted and needs to be replaced. I was highly displeased and did not enjoy my stay. Finally, there was a frustrating incident with room service. I ordered dinner and paid the staff member via bank transfer. He verified and confirmed the transfer on his end before leaving. However, two minutes later, he called my room to claim the funds had not arrived. This was embarrassing and unprofessional. I was staying overnight; I had no way or intention to flee. To make matters worse, once the funds finally cleared, management never called back to acknowledge receipt or apologize.The staff are kind, but excellent service cannot compensate for unsanitary living conditions and poor financial communication. I will not be returning."
