Facilities: relatively simple, but basically there, and relatively new. There is coffee downstairs, Chinese and Western food upstairs, as well as sports and massage!
Hygiene: relatively clean and hygienic
Environment: There are many people and the location is pretty good. You can see many black people taking photos in the lobby every day, and you can also see many stewardesses and stewardesses waiting for pilots.
Service: OK, not 100 points, but 80-90 points

Hospitality standards from the staff is poor, lack of emotional intelligence, lack of empathy for the guest. I have never seen where a guest would need to go down to the reception in front of other guests to give his laundry for dry cleaning!!!totally weird. Front office agent Moses needs to undergo more training on how to greet the guest and body language usage when in front of a guest . We are paying, so your staff needs to learn how-serve with courtesy. Your room service staffs are bringing their card machines inside the room to plug to the socket and charge it before taking payment???? Wasting our time till our food got cold and unenjoyable! Even after telling her to come back for the payment so as to eat on time, she directly declined like we were going to run away without paying. Phones are not working properly, when ordering I was told to speak louder couple of times till I started shouting on top of my voice. Total wasted night

From front desk staff, restaurant staff to housekeeping we were met with the utmost respect and kindness. Would highly recommend the Movenpick for a convenient location from individual guests to larger events.

It is very close to the airport, and it will be 15 minutes when there is no traffic jam on the weekend. However, the traffic jam in Lagos is very serious, you must allow enough time for travel. The hotel is on a small road. Because of security issues, I didn't go out for a walk. The breakfast is very rich, I like it, and the taste is very good. Overall pretty good.

For a hotel at this price range, you should expect something better. The front desk was very unwelcoming, no smile, not at all helpful. The room although big, but empty, just the bed and a table and chair in one corner. The bathroom was very clean and the towels (but never complete) was always changed on a daily basis and the room made even though I had the sign do not disturb on! They has complimentary drinks in the fridge which included beer and soft drinks all free. Breakfast was your usual typical Nigerian food nothing to write about. The dinning room was way at the back of the hotel, if it rains you will have problems accessing it. The table cloth were all old and cheap quality for this standard, very disappointing. Had a room facing the lagoon, nice view. Overall I score this hotel average.

Hotel location is good, very close to the airport. Because of the unusual traffic congestion in Lagos, it is important to catch the flight in time. In addition, the security check is strict to ensure safety and live in peace of mind. There is also a Chinese restaurant next to the hotel, the dishes are in line with Chinese dietary habits. Overall, it is recommended to go to Lagos.

The humidity of the room is 80 per day, which makes it wet for life and cannot be changed. The musty smell is heavy and cannot be lived.

PPragmatic personMy experience at the hotel was great! The food was good….healthy and tasty. The service was satisfactory from each and every service personnel and staff. When I make a complain, they attend to it immediately and see that the problem is solved. The facility looks new external and internally. My time at the hotel was well spent and I had a good night sleep. The bed was comfortable and clean.
I look forward to booking this hotel again.
Thank you, Trip.com.
GGuest UserSet in the city’s highbrow area of Ikeja, 3 miles from Murtala Muhammed International airport and ten minutes from the commercial district of Allen Avenue, is the luxury boutique CitiHeight Hotel. It is also in the vicinity of several global hotel brands including Ibis, Sheraton and Radisson Blu. Having booked our holiday straight after the Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s July 19th announcement, my daughter and I took our first post COVID-19 international trip in search of some culturally relevant inspiration. Lagos was a great option as it is on the UK government’s amber list of countries and a destination where we could really get immersed in the culture. Our UK airport experience was hectic to say the least, and we arrived a day later than scheduled. Even the most-prepared traveller is advised to have two or three back-up plans in case of “incaseities”. I sent a quick email to the hotel, explaining the last minute change in plans and luckily for us, Banji, the hotel manager was very accommodating and sympathetic to our plight. Upon arrival, we were treated like VIP’s by the polite and friendly hotel staff who took our luggage and escorted us to our room on the 6th floor. Prior to our travel, we had made reservations through booking.com and in response to our welcome email, we made a special request for “a high floor with a birds eye view”. While our preference was peace and privacy, we anticipated endless trips down to the restaurant and bar. Our executive room was pretty much like the photos on the website. Palatial, lustrous and spacious, featuring a plush king size bed with bespoke bedside cabinets and an inviting lounge area. Alongside the usual amenities, there was the obligatory hand sanitizer, but I couldn’t help but notice the bold and intriguing artwork decorating the walls. What a fantastic way to showcase emerging as well as established artists. CitiHeight is a luxury boutique hotel, on par with international standards, and I would go as far as calling it an ‘art hotel’ considering the vast art collection and attention to visual aesthetics. The allure for me was the authentic art pieces dotted throughout the hotel. From the hotel entrance, to the lobby, restaurant, and on every floor. I saw choice object d’art pieces that fused local elements of traditional art within the luxury architecture, giving the hotel a sense of high-end opulence fused with contemporary cool. I began to envisage a ‘classic meets contemporary’ theme for a photo shoot. Tip: Take some Instagrammable shots around the hotel (Do not touch artwork). Pool Life: When it comes to ‘pool life’ at CitiHeight, just grab a sunbed and relax. Although the pool lacks an outside view, poolside was a popular hangout for my daughter and her friends. Since it had a private/secret garden feel that was ideal for swimming, sipping cocktails and soaking up the sun during the day. The pool was also a perfect place for a social distancing party by night. Just beside the pool is the m
MmcpoThe following are real pictures and videos I took when I checked into the hotel that day. I checked into room 202 that day. Hotel location: Lagos is easily accessible. Hotel facilities: Take a look at the pictures for yourself, they were taken on the day of check-in. Looking at the pictures of bedding and linens, the bed is quite comfortable. Hotel decoration: see pictures for yourself. Bathroom: Dry and wet are separated. Breakfast: See the picture for yourself, it is not a buffet. Yam is a staple food in Nigeria. It is impossible to eat more than one piece even if you come from far away. The room I booked is for 2 breakfasts, so the restaurant waiters are not trained, so I don’t plan to extend my stay. Hotel front desk staff: I personally feel that they are very service-minded and quite careless during their stay. The hotel pictures match the actual room pictures.
GGuest UserSpacious rooms and quite clean. Very helpful housekeeping staff. Dirty water in the swimming pool. At the reception they are a bit too slow and a bit too shy, but always trying to satisfy any requests. Food in the restaurant is always the same and not particularly impressive. The most of the time they take very long time to deliver in the room, or just need a very long time to take your order. Actually if they are busy doing some paper works, they ignoring you util you don't request attention. Definitely they need to improve their customer service. Pay attention to the dirty tables keep the terrace organised and be more efficient. We want to thank the new joiner for his different service Mr. Omo, you are the best
MMichelyeThe room is a bit damp, but the attitude and service of the staff are very good. The breakfast is relatively simple, but there are basic fruits, vegetables and meat. The dinner buffet does not provide any drinks, which is not normal
GGuest UserI was visiting Lagos on a business trip. Wanted something quiet and a little out of the way, yet with close proximity to Ikoyi and VI. I was recommended this hotel and found it very good and suited to all my needs. Highly recommend the staff for their friendliness and attention to my every request. The rooms are clean and spacious. And extremely convenient location. So give them 5 star !
GGuest UserWas looking for a nice quiet hotel near the airport. This one was recommended. The road approaching the hotel is in a terrible state of disrepair with my taxi being stuck in potholes. It took over 40 minutes to check in considering a reservation had been made. Having do long to wait we asked for water to be told water is available in the room only unless we wanted to buy water, which we did. Room was small and old. Room aervice took over an hour to deluver a sandwich. Only redeeming factor it has good wifi.
SSamkelisiwe Pamella NokwenzaIt’s a little hard finding the hotel because Google maps takes you to the back of the hotel and not the main road of the hotel. This needs to be updated.
We asked to order food, the reception said the kitchen would call us for an order. 30 mins went by with no call. We had to call back and request to be connected with the kitchen. We ordered food and they said it would take 30 mins. It took over an hour and came in dry. Nobody likes eating after 11pm.
Decent hotel for airport transfers.
GGuest UserIt's okay, but the place to live is small, but the food is okay, there is also a Chinese restaurant next to it, you can also order beer and some western food
