Walking distance to Kyoto station & has a lot of family marts/ 7 Elevens near by, the hotel staff were also very nice and attentive. The bathrooms were a bit small but other than that a very nice stay! A lot of bus stops near by too. Bus 9 & 28 stop right by the hotel

Stayed there while the public bath was closed due to repair works, they refunded us half the price, which is good. The room was ok, big, just a little bit worn out. The service was good.

Located opposite a big temple Hanazonocho, it's a good 15 to 20 minutes walk to Kyoto station. Ok for a winter's walk but not sure on the summer. We booked a room with attached toilet. The room is clean tho a bit dated. Drinks and hot water are at the lobby so you need to make a trip downstairs.

This hotel is a very great and the servers are nice.I recommend everyone who want visit Kyoto to enjoy this hotel.

It was an authentic Japanese style hotel. Friendly and kind. The location must very good it's was just front of the nisi hongan temple.I also like the public bath.

I was 1st time stay over in Kyoto woth ryokan style. The tatami room is so cozy. with beautiful view free ofuro and amenity staff is really friendly.

Hotel is good for this price. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They provide water and coffee free of charge. And they give you a nice yukata to wear. They provide you with all amenities you need during your stay. The room itself needs renovation tough and the bathroom wasn't clean enough. Hotel is a bit far from the station so walking takes a while. Bathroom is too small we didn't have enough space to leave our toothbrushes.

This is one of the best stays I have ever had at a hotel that is meant to be budget. The staff is wonderful the amenities are nice and baths are grand. I can’t recommend this place enough. It is a bit of a walk from the trains but only when you are new to the area after that you quickly find it’s maybe a 7 min walk or less to the trains. I love this hotel and it’s staff I can’t say enough good about it honestly. The rooftop, the baths, the teas, the staff all are so great! Thankful to have experienced such a great stay.

Staff was super friendly, and gave us a free upgrade to a room with private toilet and bath! For price of the room, the amenities were great! The tatami floor was very homely. The location may not be near common tourist spots but it is quite central and easy to get around

Middle of thr town. Old type of Hotel. Toilet are outside in winter difficult to use. Bathroom also one issue. Foreigners may be try in summer. But staffs are very friendly

We wanted a traditional experience and that is exactly what we got! Walking distance to Kyoto Station made kt very convenient as well. Amazing service and value for money. My tweens also enjoyed. We had a private bathroom but she came with me to the public bath for the experience. Highly recommend!
