Hotels in Chenggong New District/South High-Speed Railway Station, Kunming

Our family of four (two adults and two children) stayed one night at Hampton by Hilton Kunming South Station. The location was incredibly convenient, as it offered easy access to Kunming South Railway Station, which was our main reason for choosing this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a short stay. The staff were friendly and efficient, making check-in and check-out seamless. Although we only stayed for one night, the amenities provided met our needs perfectly. Overall, Hampton by Hilton Kunming South Station is a great choice for travelers seeking comfort and convenience near the railway station.

The room is spacious and clean, the service is warm and thoughtful, the hotel is very close to the subway station, there are many restaurants around, and it is next to Wanda Plaza. The room is also very soundproof. I will stay here again next time. I really recommend it, especially the lady at the front desk who was very enthusiastic in guiding us to park and help with our luggage, and reminded us to bring thick clothes. Thank you very much, I highly recommend it❤❤

The room was very comfortable and nice for our short stay. Perfect for travellers travelling around Yunnan as well since it is 10 minutes away from the main train station in Kunming (Kunming South). The hotel also provides a free shuttle service every hour which made it very convenient for us. The shampoos provided were very expensive, high quality and smelled amazing, which was quite surprising! Highly recommend to stay.

Children especially like this room, it’s so fun and looks like a hammock. The room is large, has a wide view, and is very clean. The intelligent voice-controlled lights and curtains responded to my call at the drop of a hat. My kids almost yelled at me 😂. There is also afternoon tea at the front desk, with various teas and snacks available for eating and drinking. The young lady is also very enthusiastic, gentle and caring. Pick-up at the high-speed rail station: When we checked out, they called a car and took us to the high-speed rail station for free. This check-in experience was very nice.

The room was clean and the aunt was very kind and kind. There were a lot of food near the hotel. Although I stayed for one night, the experience was very good. I forgot to take photos. A relatively new hotel. Perfect for a overnight stay for people rushing to the high speed the next morning. Room was big and comfortable. We booked for the non smoking level but there is an ashtray on the living room table and u can smell cigarette smoke along corridor. Really wished this country makes more effort in advocating for non smoking despite signs beinf put up. We managed to search for a little night market, Shilin night market about 10 mins taxi ride away from the hotel. Maybe hotel can provide more information about places around for tourists. It is also a short walking distance to the metro which is linked to high speed as well. Managed to book the free pick up from high speed to hotel however the next day's hotel to high speed is already fully booked. We also didn't managed to have breakfast due to timing of our high speed.

The parking lot is super large and parking is very convenient. The hotel is next to a school. The environment is quiet, clean and sanitary. The bedding is comfortable. It would be better if breakfast could be served until 10 o'clock.

Hotel is nice. Room is good. Washroom is good. Breakfast is great. Everything was digital. Looks good in most things except the noise. Elevator 🛗 noise is too much in whole building and it sounds like metro 🚇 train passing through station after each 5 minutes. This hotel is on 2nd floor so 3rd floor people make noise till midnight and early morning. Which is very common here in China they shut doors hardly and not care for other humans sleepy. Also the cleaning lady start cleaning on 8:00 🕗 I think it’s not good they should start cleaning after 9:00. Because they make more noise during cleaning. So, if you noise sensitive then it’s terrible place to stay. If you don’t care noise then it’s amazing place to stay. The choice is yours. Thanks

The room is very clean, Kunming South can be free of charge, the facilities in the house are very detailed, earplugs, laundry detergent, hanging ironing machine are prepared, it can be seen that the boss is quite careful, the breakfast is also very delicious, the overall stay is very comfortable, the price is very high

The room is very clean, with an ancient style. I like the design of the room very much. It is warm and elegant. The front desk lady is very good. She called in advance to confirm the route. The breakfast is also delicious and rich. There is also a washing machine and dryer for washing clothes. Hanfu photo shooting is also provided. The surrounding environment is also very good. The transportation is convenient. There is a shopping mall below, which is convenient for eating and shopping. All in all, highly recommended
