I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. I was quite hesitant before choosing it, especially after reading about the negative elevator incident, which made me really worry about safety. So, every time I took the elevator during my stay, I was on edge. The main reason I decided to stay was for the hot springs and swimming pool, as it's been raining a lot in Kunming recently, and I figured we'd just enjoy the hotel. Honestly, I wasn't particularly impressed with the service, and the facilities are quite old, very old. If it weren't for the constant rain and traveling with a child, I probably wouldn't have chosen this hotel. Especially after visiting Fuxian Lake, the comparison really highlighted its shortcomings.

Lavande Hotel is a chain hotel, and its industry standards are reassuring! We booked two nights last minute due to a change in plans, and the room was for two seniors. They were very happy with the layout. The water pressure in the hotel is rarely this strong, and they were very satisfied with using it. The hotel is close to Guandu Ancient Town, museums, and large shopping malls, with a huge Wujiaba Central Park nearby. It's about a 30-minute drive from the airport, which is indeed very convenient!

The overall decoration style of the B&B is very Zen and Chinese-style. You can also watch the night view from the sun in the room. Environment: You can also go shopping downstairs and eat more conveniently. The only drawback was that it was difficult to find the location, especially because the road was closed during the Spring Festival and the navigation display was not very accurate. I finally drove into the underground parking lot. The parking lot was too big and the hotel's signs were not clear enough. 20 minutes faster. When I finally left, it was because some entrances refused to allow me to leave. I had to go through several entrances before leaving. If the hotel could inform me in advance, some mistakes could be avoided.

Location is a big plus here — right next to the convention center, a shopping mall with tons of dining and shopping options, and DiDaDi outdoor theme park is literally just outside the hotel. The kids loved it and kept themselves busy the whole time. Rooms were great and the outdoor bathtub was a nice bonus. We had a minor hiccup with the AC going out overnight, but the manager was super responsive and got us moved to a new room without any hassle since the technician wasn’t around over the weekend. Really appreciated that. Free breakfast and supper are both included, and honestly both were really good — plenty of variety and everything tasted great. Oh, and don’t sleep on the hotel’s rooftop photo shoot. The views up there are stunning and it’s a proper must-do during your stay. All in all, a really enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!

The room is trendy and clean, the color scheme is comfortable, and it is very user-friendly and comfortable to use. The bed is also very good to sleep on! The breakfast is delicious and has many varieties. The service attitude of the staff at the front desk and various positions is very friendly! The laundry room is a real lifesaver when you are on a business trip for several days. The gym is small but adequate. I will still choose Atour next time I go on a business trip.

The hotel's location is great, with convenient transportation. You can find food and do some shopping right downstairs. There's also a Central Park nearby, perfect for couples and kids to enjoy. The room was very clean, and the facilities were quite new. Watching movies on the large projection screen was absolutely amazing! The front desk lady was very enthusiastic and patient, recommending several attractions to us. The service was truly excellent and heartwarming. Because of this hotel, I now have a great impression of the entire city. Highly recommended! ❤️

Cleanliness: Super clean, the pillows and quilt smelled delicious, and every corner in the room was polished to a shine. Environment: The courtyard is beautiful, with beautiful flowers and plants growing beautifully. I could spend an entire afternoon relaxing there. Service: The housekeeper was very helpful and contacted me before I arrived, worried I'd find the room. Breakfast was also prepared with great care. The landlady's rice noodles were so delicious!!! The chicken mushroom oil was so fragrant, I wanted to steal some to take home. Amenities: Completely equipped, with air conditioning, a washing machine, a mahjong machine, and more. The room was very clean and well-equipped. We weren't familiar with the local roads, and when we were looking for parking, the young lady at the front desk was incredibly detailed and patient in guiding us, which we really appreciated – double praise for her service! When we checked in, she also offered us two complimentary breakfasts (which we hadn't booked). Since we had a child with us and were busy getting them ready, we didn't take any photos of the room. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in Kunming.
