A delightful surprise from check-in to check-out! Absolutely five stars! This was our first stop in Yunnan with my family from Shanghai, and it left a truly lasting impression. Highly recommend it to everyone! Our room was spotless and odorless, and they even prepared a humidifier for us in advance, which was a thoughtful touch. The hotel facilities are incredibly new and comprehensive – even the gym equipment was impeccably maintained. Before bed, they brought us a complimentary sweet soup, and we could relax with a cup of tea on the cozy window-side sofa. The comfort level was absolutely top-notch. They offer free laundry facilities and a gym, complete with dryers – no need to worry about anything. Yesterday, we were in a rush to head out, and a lovely staff member from housekeeping even helped us wash, dry, and return our clothes to our room. That was such a heartwarming and incredibly helpful gesture! The hotel also organized many complimentary family-friendly activities. We took our kids to experience an intangible cultural heritage lacquer fan DIY workshop, which was truly meaningful and a lot of fun. The location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a 3-minute walk to a lively snack street, and directly opposite The Mixc City, making it super convenient for dining, entertainment, and outings with the kids. No need to rush for transportation early in the morning, and it's incredibly easy to pop back to the hotel when you're tired from exploring. Breakfast was another highlight! The buffet was overflowing with hot dishes, freshly brewed coffee, and an abundance of fresh-cut fruits, plus a great selection of local specialties. With so much variety, we never got bored trying new things every day. But the absolute standout was the service. The front desk staff proactively helped with our luggage and offered weather reminders. I casually mentioned needing a charging cable, and it was delivered to our room within minutes! Their service was thoughtful and attentive without ever feeling intrusive. As it was our first time in Yunnan, I was a bit lost on planning our itinerary. The front desk staff patiently shared their recommendations and helped us organize our chaotic plans, making everything much clearer. Huge thumbs up to her! We'll definitely choose this hotel again when we return to this city!

Excellent service by the 2 male hotel employees who went out of their way in assisting us with transport arrangements so we do not miss our train at the railway station. Very convenient location as the airport bus stops in front of the hotel, the subway station is within a few minutes walk from the hotel and a shopping mall is located right across the hotel.

Very good hotel, stayed in an upgraded room, very quiet, clean, complete things, the front desk service and the restaurant aunt is super enthusiastic, the return trip can live in such an affordable, cost-effective hotel, really good, Yunnan is a good place

Very clean and comfortable hotel and their service is superb! Especially the hotel manager, Kristin, very friendly and helpful, and welcome us with gifts even though we arrive during midnight. Our room was well decorated as it’s our honeymoon trip☺️ Very satisfied with our stay here and would highly recommend it to everyone!

The hotel is situated within a large courtyard. The rooms are equipped with direct drinking water dispensers that provide hot water, which was very convenient, and having the bathroom and toilet separate was great as they didn't interfere with each other. The mattress in our complimentary upgraded room was incredibly comfortable; it was the best night's sleep I'd had in half a month since arriving in Yunnan. The Huizhou-style architecture and overall ambiance were superb! The water lilies in the courtyard were blooming beautifully, and the koi fish were plump and lively. The central courtyard, with its pond, was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy snacks in the evening. The service was warm and attentive, and the sauerkraut fried rice at breakfast was absolutely delicious!!!

This was the perfect hotel for me in Kunming. I gave the 6 out of 5 ratings for new, great, clean facilities and wonderful breakfast. But most of all I was very impressed with the friendliness of the hotel staff. Among them I want to highlight the hotel manager Zhou Chingmin who provided great checkin and orientation. I was not feeling well due to the high altitude and she was so kind to provide me with air cleaner and to inform me that they could find oxygen canister if I needed one. She was an example of customer care expert and I am very greaful for that.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Kunming! The lobby was warm and cozy — a lovely first impression that made me feel welcome right away. The staff were incredibly attentive and always ready to help with a smile, which really made a difference throughout my stay. The facilities were recently updated and everything felt fresh, clean, and thoughtfully designed. A great balance of comfort, modernity, and excellent service. Would definitely stay here again!

The sanitation environment of the facilities is very good, very satisfied with the stay experience, the overall feeling is great, the front desk is good when checking in, and the breakfast is also very good, the hotel bed is very comfortable, the room is also very big, the bathtub 🛁 is very comfortable!

Overall, it was a pretty good experience, and my first stay at a Marriott-affiliated hotel didn't disappoint. However, perhaps because the hotel is relatively new, I felt the front office staff's professionalism could use some improvement. I was informed that extra amenities would be placed in the room prior to my arrival, but they were only delivered after I had already checked in. It seemed like they didn't pay close attention to booking details or special requests. My reservation clearly indicated one complimentary breakfast was included, but the front desk initially told me my room didn't come with breakfast. Oddly, after I inquired about the price to add breakfast, they then offered it to me for free. I had noted a preference against a corner room, but that's what I was assigned. While it wasn't a major issue and I didn't really mind, the front desk still called to offer a room change *after* I had already unpacked. I called to inquire about children's bathrobes. I was initially quite surprised when the operator confirmed they had them, as Four Points is typically a select-service hotel, and I didn't expect such comprehensive children's amenities. However, they called back shortly after to inform me they actually didn't provide them. On a positive note, all the staff members had a very good service attitude. The housekeeping attendants, in particular, were exceptionally warm and professional. When delivering items, they offered thoughtful advice and showed genuine care. They would also proactively greet me in the hallway in the mornings and patiently ask about my preferred cleaning time and any specific needs. The F&B department's hygiene level also felt like it needed improvement. I bought some fruit and asked for a plate, but the first one delivered had several unidentifiable marks on it. Furthermore, the lobby bar's operating hours were unclear. I specifically wanted to experience it, but when I arrived, I was told the bartender was off for the day. This detail was not mentioned even when I called specifically to inquire about their operating hours. Overall, it offered excellent value for money, and its convenient location made it very easy to access city attractions. However, the service quality of both the Front Office and F&B departments could definitely use some improvement.
