Good overall. Parking is available, which is very convenient if you're driving. If you're walking, expect an uphill climb. The onsen is great. They even waited up for us when we arrived quite late at night. The price is reasonable, making it one of the best value-for-money hotels in Arima.

quite disappointed with this hotel facility. the bed is aged and the facilities are old.the beds made me back pain as well...however, the staffs are super friendly and nice. the location of the hotel needs a bit walk to the downtown. with a high slope. but they do offer shuttle bus which is a good thing.

Fantastic, with excellent service.

This hotel is quite good. Its prime location in the Arima Onsen resort area is a major draw. A significant highlight is the hotel's own onsen, featuring the unique 'Kinsen' (Gold Spring) and 'Ginsen' (Silver Spring) waters, which are a rare find elsewhere. Additionally, the hotel has a swimming pool, with free access for children, adding to its overall value. Perched on a hilltop, it offers fantastic panoramic views. While some facilities might be a bit dated, the overall experience was very pleasant, and it offers excellent value for money. I would happily return to this hotel given the chance. The buffet breakfast was satisfactory. A thoughtful touch is their arranged shuttle service for guests departing at 7 PM. Finally, the Japanese staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, which is definitely worth commending.

There's a slope from the main street of Arima Onsen that makes it tough to walk, so you have to drive up and down, but other than that there were no problems! The hotel also had its own hot spring, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and relaxing, allowing me to soothe and relieve my fatigue!

A famous hot spring hotel with a good location and beautiful scenery. The whole hot spring town is very unique. The rooms are large and also in Japanese and Western styles. It is a good choice for a weekend vacation.

The hot spring hotel is relatively old-fashioned, and there are no bathrooms in the rooms, so if you want to take a shower you have to go to the large public bath, but the women's bath is not very big, so you have to wait in line, and the hot spring pool is not big either! You might as well try it if you want to stay overnight and have two meals. Dinner is kaiseki cuisine, and there are staff to introduce the food. The service staff are very patient in explaining, and I really have to praise them! The food is good, the breakfast is authentic Japanese style, which is good! The hot spring hotel is located at a relatively high altitude, so it is a bit far to go to Arima Onsen. It is best to take the hotel bus to the hot spring area! The hot spring area closes early, so it’s best to go before 5pm!

It is a bit far from Arima Station and uphill, but in return you can overlook the whole of Arima from the room and restaurant. The spa didn't have coffee milk available which was a bit disappointing.

It was very high up, so it didn't feel like a short walk around the town. It seemed clean, but the facility itself is old, so some of the doors were hard to close. There weren't many types of baths, so it wasn't much fun. I don't think I'll go again.

The hotel staff were very kind. The breakfast had a wide variety and was delicious. A bottle of mineral water was provided in the room each day.

The downside is that it's located deep in the mountains, but there is a shuttle bus from the hotel to Arima Onsen Station and other bus stops every 30 minutes, and they also have a system where they come to pick you up right away if you call, which was very helpful. If you check out the next day and want to leave your car and take the shuttle bus to get around Arima Onsen town, be aware that you can only leave your car at the hotel until 12 o'clock⚠️

The hotel is quiet and comfortable, with large rooms. If you drive yourself, it is more suitable and parking is convenient. I usually park underground and find the doorman to swipe the parking card before driving out. Kyoto is not big and it is close to everywhere! There is a guy at the front desk No. 5 who is learning Chinese! He works very hard, I hope he can be more proficient!
