For a traveler who stayed all over the world, I can recommend this hotel. The location is definitely not great, but if you’re pretty hearty you just walk about three blocks and you’re in the main restaurant and shopping area for tourism. The hotel does treat you very kindly and make sure you have what you need. Big comfy room great views and kind service.

Really liked this boutique type hotel. Large bright modern rooms with most everything you need including Bottled water. The breakfast was very good the service was very helpful. Even sent out laundry and had it back by the same night. They’ll call and arrange a taxi for you as well. They have a beautiful rooftop bar

Good location , there are many shops and restaurant around for food and shopping by walking distance. 10 minutes walk to DURBAN Square

Here are a few suggestions for Mila Hotel: 1. The front desk and reception staff are polite and friendly, actively assisting with various issues. 2. The new bathroom facilities are excellent. 3. There is no water dispenser, and using bottled water is not environmentally friendly. 4. The caps of the glass bottles provided in the rooms are rusty and even moldy, which is the only disappointing aspect.

im so lucky to find this brand new hotel nearby Thamel. Not in tourist area but just nearby, and convenient to get all what you want. The hotel got a coffee shop at the lobby, and one rooftop restaurant/bistro which can have a panorama view of the Kathmandu city. Basic facilities such as disposer toothbrush provided, tea, coffee, towel provided. No gym and pool, but is okay for me cos i enjoy the view on rooftop restaurant most of the time.

Nice hotel

This is a terrible hotel, unprofessional. Stayed for 3 days, no cleaning, changed towels, refilled water in the room. When asked to clean, after returning at night, they left our room open, even though there were many valuables in the room. Fortunately, nothing was missing. When we reported it, they asked us to check if anything was missing. There was no apology for what happened. Said they didn't know which housekeeper left it open. The food was buffet style, but we got one stupid single dish. There were 2 fried eggs, a few vegetables, orange juice and tea, and yogurt. Not worth the money spent for booking.

It is a very good choice in Thamel. It is not in the core area, but it is a 5-minute walk to the Potala Guest House and the hot pot restaurant. It is also convenient to call a Nepali Didi taxi. You can see the top of the pagoda of the Monkey Temple from the rooftop terrace. There are several fruit stalls nearby downstairs!
