Xitang Yunlaiji Riverside Art Hotel (Xitang Guzhen Store) Reviews

The Yunlaiji is a truly wonderful small, family run hotel.  We so enjoyed our visit here and wish it could have been longer.  The host family is so warm and caring, and was attentive to our needs to entire time of our stay.  We can not say enough nice things about them. The property itself is really beautiful, with a lovely courtyard.  We stayed in the Garden Deluxe Suite, which we would highly recommend.  There is a wonderful patio right on the water.  It was a great place to sit and watch the world go by, to relax and also to get some long overdue work done.  The room itself is spacious and has everything you need, including a huge round bath tub to soak after a day's exploring.  The hotel sits right outside of the Xitang Ancient Town, which we found works great, as it stays quiet the entire day, even when the tourist spots in the town are noisy and busy. It is an easy 5-10 minute walk along the water to the town, which you can enter free of charge after 5 pm.  We hope we get the chance to stay at the Yunlaiji again some day - it is a great place and we can't recommend it highly enough.

location is great, very closed to the water village (before 8am & after 5pm, entrance is free) and aftrer 2 blocks having a shopping street, full of shops & restaurants

Super near the scenic area although a bit difficult to find- it’s about 3min walk from the Wujia bridge entrance. Otherwise very friendly owner and cute place identical to online pictures. Price can’t be beat!

Wonderful stay. The room was beautiful, large and comfortable. The garden was gorgeous and the tea room next to the garden was very quaint. The owner was kind and helpful, making our stay flawless. We would definitely return. Thank you

Perfect location - just a few minutes walk away from the scenic area but far enough to have a great night sleep away from the noise. It was not the easiest to find, as trip.com location wasn't accurate, however we got picked up from one of the entrance gates and guided to the property. The facilities are simple but smoke free, clean and very comfortable. The courtyard within was lovely and peaceful. We felt welcome.

The room very spacious with nice view from veranda. I can't speak chinese, but we have smooth communication via wechat using translating function. The hotel owner and staff are very kind. He helped me getting small cash as i need it for local bus payment.

The house price is good, cost-effective, the service is also very good, I like the overall style, and there is an ancient well in the yard! Very close to the scenic spot, convenient! Highly recommended for a family trip!

I booked a loft room on the 11th, with upper and lower floors, 5 people, not crowded. The room is clean and has 2 balconies with good air and beautiful views. It can have convection and wind. It is very cool during the National Day, so there is no need to turn on the air conditioner. No mosquitoes either. The bed is big and soft. Have a good night's sleep. The interior design has a natural feel, and the decoration is tasteful, not the simple street decoration. The bedside is very atmospheric. The bathroom is not very big, there is only one, but it doesn't matter if the whole family uses it separately. The entire hotel has four floors, and you don’t feel tired even if you go up the spiral staircase. On the contrary, it is very artistic. There is a small Zen-like pavilion on the first floor, where two people drink tea and watch the flowing water next to them, which is quite artistic. The boss is very warm and considerate. Karaoke is available on the second floor. There is also a barbecue grill. I bought ingredients from the nearby pot circle, barbecued, sang, and played board games. It was very pleasant. The Huazhiyu Hanfu experience provided by the hotel is also great. It's brand new, free to wear, and you can take photos yourself. It will be a blockbuster. There is no food in the hotel, but there are enough internet celebrity stores nearby. A satisfactory stay experience, recommended.

The boss and his wife are very nice. The boss even came out to help with things. The price is very affordable, the bedding is very comfortable, the bath towels and towels are disposable, and the slippers are also provided, and the configuration is in place. I didn’t ask for good reviews when I went out, so I’ll give it to you. Five stars, I will come again next time

The boss was very enthusiastic and we took a free tour of the ancient town under his guidance. The view of the hotel is also good, the room is not small, and there is a balcony facing the river. If the weather is not too hot, it would be nice to drink tea on the balcony.
