"Disappointing but could easily be much better. I had a brief stay with late evening so planned to eat in the hotel. Only one of its advertised restaurants was open at night. For dinner it only served a “business buffet” of soup and cold food. Room service didn’t have some menu items and delivered a very soggy pizza. Electronic curtain control could close but not open the curtains. The sea view wasn’t a lie but I would not charge extra for the glimpse you get from rooms on lower floors. A nice bathtub with jets but not bath/shower products that weren’t attached to the wall.."

"What a warm friendly boutique hotel. Beautifully designed with a local touch. You can sit for hours in the lobby sipping excellent coffee and having local pastries and in the evening theirs a private movie theater room you can rent and watch movies. Theirs a small pool in the roof and a mini gym, the equipment didn’t function well, will need an upgrade. Rooms also cute and relaxing. Some have a sliding toilet door that wouldn’t close properly , needs a bit of attention. The best part of the hotel is the staff. You’ll meet young professional local Saudis that will greet you with true Arabian warmth and hospitality. I would highly recommend Shada."
