Nanning Hotels with Wifi

"This hotel needs an update. The triple/family room is actually a twin with an extra bed. As such this extra bed does not have conveniently located power points or USB ports that the other two beds have access to. The elevators are placed on two ends of the A and B building, with the lobby being more closely and easily accessed via building A, whereas the building B access to the main lobby (and indeed anywhere, except the back carpark), requires going down stairs. The property is advertised with a ”hello” icon as having experience with English speaking tourists, however, I found this to be inaccurate but the employees were patient and tolerated my half-assed Mandarin. Dining options are all located in Fortune Tower located near the Building B elevators (requiring use of stairs). We opted to try the buffet breakfast. While there is variety, considering the quality of cooking, I find the price of the buffet high. The dim sum restaurant on the 4th floor is quite good, but may perhaps be deemed crude if you compare it to the finesse of some Hong Kong dim sum places. However, for the price/quality ratio, we found it quite good. At the time we visited, they offered a Zhuang tea free, but it was also offered at the buffet hall with even more topping options. There is also some sort of food court on level 2, but we didn't have time to check it out. Even though it is near the hustle and bustle of big shopping malls, once you enter the vicinity of the hotel, the noise of the crowd melts away. One is likely to turn right or go straight from the property to the shiny malls, but we found heading out to the street on the left via the back carpark was a bit more localised. Loads of mobile phone repair shops, a camping store, and eateries that cater more to locals. A twenty minute walk takes you to the riverside. At 7pm, the lights on buildings and bridges come on. The park offers a pleasant wak, but not all the lights work and it can get quite dark. The other streets eg 3 streets. 2 alleys, were too touristy for my liking. Did not even bother with Zhongshan. The biggest plus is the property's location. I would only recommend Nanning Hotel for the convenience. If other factors are important to you, then you'd probably be better somewhere else. As there was nothing remarkable about the room or the hotel, I attach a photo of the nearby river at sunset."

"The room was quite spacious, and they thoughtfully provided a separate sofa bed, toothbrushes, and slippers specifically for the children. The hotel's service was excellent; the front desk offered complimentary small bottles of pulpy orange juice or Fanta. In the evenings, there were jelly desserts, and during the May Day holiday, they even arranged morning craft activities for kids to enjoy. Overall, the service was truly impressive."

"The Marriott hotel is super conveniently located right above a large shopping mall that has everything you need. It's also very easy to get to museums, Chaoyang Square, the train station, and the high-speed rail station via Metro Line 1. The hotel itself seems to have been recently renovated; it feels very new."

"It's located directly opposite Chaoyang Plaza. The building's exterior looks a bit dated, and it houses five different hotels. The location is quite convenient – it's a 5-minute walk to the subway station and about a 10-minute walk to Sanjie Liangxiang. The room is a bit small, but it's well-equipped and has everything you need. As expected from Atour, the cleanliness was consistently excellent. The downside is that rooms facing Chaoyang Plaza can be quite noisy. Luckily, the square dancing stops after 10 PM, and closing the windows does a good job of blocking out much of the noise. I usually choose Atour specifically for their comfortable pillows and mattresses, but unfortunately, at this branch, I found both the pillows and mattress to be a bit too soft, leading to a restless night. Breakfast was also pretty mediocre. I had originally booked for two nights, but ended up canceling the second one."

"This Holiday Inn Express has a really unique concept! It's conveniently located right next to Nanning's Jiangnan Wanda Plaza, not far from the Yong River. Strolling along the riverside and checking out the Pavilion Wharf in the evening was incredibly pleasant. The breakfast's mini wontons are absolutely amazing – thin skin, generous filling, paired with an iced Americano, it's simply the best! A huge thanks to the front desk staff, Xiao Guan, for arranging a room with a great view for me, allowing me to enjoy the river scenery from my room. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Nanning, haha."

"Facilities: Overall pretty good. It was around 10 degrees Celsius in Nanning in January, and the AC in the room could only cool, not heat. After I reported it, they explained it was due to the central air conditioning system and quickly sent a space heater (since it's a hardware issue, I suggest making them standard instead of waiting for guests to ask, as it affects the experience). The light and exhaust fan switches for the bathroom are outside the bathroom and around a corner, which is hard to understand... Cleanliness: Good Environment: Good Service: Arrogance was evident everywhere. We arrived at the hotel around 1 PM after getting off the high-speed rail, but the room wasn't ready, and they couldn't give us an estimated time. OK, we waited. They gave us two drink vouchers for welcome drinks at the beverage bar (the tea was teabags, and the juice was made from concentrate). Since it was past 1 PM and we hadn't eaten lunch and didn't have a room, we ordered takeout while waiting for the drinks. A server saw us and aggressively said no outside food was allowed, literally saying, ”This Old Friend Noodle soup smells too strong, but if it were something else, we could *make an exception*!” What? Are guests paying to be disciplined by you? Do we need your 'exception' just to eat? Because they couldn't provide a room or another place at that moment, they eventually dropped the issue. We waited until past 3 PM, and the room still wasn't ready, so we went out to explore. It wasn't until past 5 PM that we received a call saying the room was ready. Good thing we didn't just wait foolishly at the hotel."

"The high-altitude Shangri-La definitely lives up to its name, located on the 88th floor with unparalleled views. The sky lobby is on the 68th floor. Shangri-La's quality has always been reliable. Room amenities: The room size is generous, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer fantastic views both day and night. The bathtub is also large, making for a very comfortable soak. Breakfast: The selection is rich, and there are plenty of seats, so it never feels too crowded. The waitstaff provides excellent service. The hotel is connected to MixC on the first floor, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. Taxis are also readily available. The BBQ downstairs in the evening is delicious. The only minor drawback was the quality of the bath towels, which could be improved."

"Facilities: Standard for a five-star hotel, but the door doesn't close by itself; you have to push it shut when entering or exiting, which is a bit inconvenient. Welcome fruit on the first day: The sugar tangerines were delicious. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy, found no hidden dirty spots. Environment: Good location, right next to Wanda Plaza, convenient for going to the supermarket and such. Service: They proactively upgraded me to a suite because my original room wasn't ready. However, the suite had a smoke smell. I requested a smoke-free treatment, but the staff just opened the window, which was quite frustrating."

"Wow, I absolutely have to rave about the hotel I stayed at for this business trip! First off, the location is unbeatable – it's so convenient to get anywhere, which saved me a lot on taxi fares and time. I honestly thought that for this price, the room would just be average. But I was so pleasantly surprised the moment I stepped in! The room was incredibly spacious with a big window. The afternoon sun streamed in, making the whole room bright and cheerful, which instantly lifted my mood. The bed deserves special praise; the mattress was just the right firmness, and the pillows were incredibly comfortable. Once I lay down, I didn't want to get up – I slept soundly all night, even better than at home! Compared to a few other hotels I'd checked out nearby, their price was much more reasonable, but the quality was just as good, if not better. I really felt like I got my money's worth! The moment I entered the hotel lobby, I was enveloped by a strong Christmas atmosphere. The Christmas tree, colorful lights, and little bells in the lobby were beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, immediately giving me that festive feeling. My colleagues and I couldn't resist taking a few photos. During check-in, the front desk lady was exceptionally warm and attentive. She wasn't just mechanically going through the motions; she genuinely asked, ”Sir, would you prefer a quieter room? Would a higher floor be okay?” And she actually arranged a quiet room with a great view for me. She clearly explained everything, from how to connect to the WiFi to where to park the car and which floor breakfast was on the next morning. This kind of meticulous attention to detail made me feel really at ease, as if everything had been taken care of for me. Their breakfast also deserves a special mention! The variety was truly impressive, ranging from Chinese congee, dim sum, and side dishes to Western bread, salads, yogurt, and even a live noodle station. Everything tasted great. I ate a huge plateful, left feeling full and energized, ready to tackle my day. In short, my overall experience this stay was fantastic, completely exceeding my expectations. Whether you're here for a business trip like me or just looking for a place to relax for a weekend, this is definitely the place to choose. I've already added it to my 'treasure hotels' list, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!"
