There's a little market aswell behind the Wanda. The room was bigger than expected. Good check in. The bed is comfy good pillows. Would definetly recommend and stay here again.

A grand hotel although it is more oriental style. Very near Metro. Airport bus service is right at the hotel. Beautiful 南湖 is nice for morning and evening walk. We booked a double room. The front dest staff was very pleasant and able to help us when asking for free upgrade to executive, non-smoking room with fantastic view to the lake. The room was very spacious and comfy. Front desk was also efficient to help us solving small issue of the room.

There is a small door next to Building 1 of the hotel that leads directly to Wuxiang Lake Park. Nanning Night is diagonally opposite, so you don't have to worry about traffic problems after shopping at night. The front desk lady helped us upgrade to Building 8, which has a swimming pool below. I'm happy... The hotel is not near popular scenic spots and is more suitable for leisure vacations.

Cons: 1) Lifts are small and always crowded. 2) Breakfast is a disgrace… There was no meat, and hardly anything else. My wife and I were fortunate to get some noodle and nibbles. Some people arriving after us complained to the two staff in the breakfast area that “there is no food”. The staff were unapologetic; they defended by saying that “more people are having breakfast today than the number we were given”. And then one of the staff started eating her own breakfast (it was about 9am), something she collected for herself from the breakfast bar, together with the customers.
