Hotel is located diagonally across Mixc shopping centre and easily accessible from 万象城 station on Line 1. It’s 7 stations away from 朝阳百盛步行街 on the same line.
We asked for non-smoking room and were assigned a room on level 3, the only designated non-smoking floor. However the windows open to the atrium courtyard and hotel guests fragrantly flouted the no-smoking signs throughout the hotel and cigarette stench prevails. I advise non-smokers to avoid this place.
Hotel has central heating during this period and it’s not possible to control the temperature in your room if you prefer cooler temperature. We had to resort to opening both door and windows to induce airflow from the cooler corridor.
小米 TV provides a reservoir of content for entertainment for purchase if the usual china terrestrial channels are not your cup of tea. The complimentary welcome drinks at the lobby is a nice touch. The complimentary afternoon tea from 2-5pm merely recycles leftovers from breakfast and can be skipped.
Next trip back I’ll probably pick a hotel near 朝阳广场 for greater ease of access to shopping and restaurants.

I arranged a trip to Nanning temporarily, checked hotels online, and chose Nanhu Mingdu from Shangri-La and Nanhu Mingdu. I booked an executive lake view single room. When checking in, Xiaolin at the front desk helped upgrade the executive suite. Carefully and meticulously introduced the instructions for afternoon tea, vouchers, etc. Because I was with my baby, I asked the floor attendant to send two more sets of children's toiletries and slippers, as well as check-in fruits. The room is spacious and clean, with 270° lake and city views, and excellent views. The room is well soundproofed. The shower head has a large amount of water and a stable water temperature, which is an important aspect of my evaluation of the comfort of a hotel. The water quality of the hotel's heated swimming pool is also good, because there are many children during the May Day holiday, and it is estimated that it should be better on ordinary days. Because I went to breakfast very late and it was close to the end time, many things were emptied, so I couldn't evaluate it objectively. Overall, Nanhu Mingdu, as an old five-star hotel, has a very mature management system, good staff quality, and great service details. The experience of staying in is very good! Next time I go to Nanning, I will probably choose to stay here again.

I want to say that although I unfortunately fainted due to low blood sugar while rushing at the previous stop, I received a lot of care from the service staff since I entered the door. They brought me food and drinks and upgraded our room. The room was very clean and spacious, not noisy, and the bathroom was large and wide. The location is particularly good, close to the famous Langxi Night Market and only a few steps away from the subway station. I had a good rest at night and regained my energy here. The breakfast in the morning was very rich. I will choose here again next time I come to Nanning.

The front desk service staff has a good attitude and upgraded the room; the room is large, clean and sanitary, with complete facilities and dry and wet separation; breakfast/laundry/gym are all on the 7th floor. The breakfast is very rich, with everything you need, and afternoon tea; the self-service laundry room has 3 washing machines + 3 dryers + 2 steam irons + 1 ironing board. If I come to Nanning again in the future, I will choose to stay here.

Pros: 1) Staff at the reception are friendly and helpful; they arranged a disposable shaver to be delivered to my room - much appreciated. 2) Location is good, very close to the train station and shuttle bus (route number 1) to NNG airport. 3) Our room is very clean, having comfortable bed, pillows and linens.
Cons: 1) Lifts are small and always crowded. 2) Breakfast is a disgrace… There was no meat, and hardly anything else. My wife and I were fortunate to get some noodle and nibbles. Some people arriving after us complained to the two staff in the breakfast area that “there is no food”. The staff were unapologetic; they defended by saying that “more people are having breakfast today than the number we were given”. And then one of the staff started eating her own breakfast (it was about 9am), something she collected for herself from the breakfast bar, together with the customers. It just shows the lack of training and protocols.

Hotel deluxe room was super nice. All electronic lights / curtains worked smoothly and bilingual, easy to use. Bath tub was clean and nice and room vibe was really nice. Reception desk was helpful registering despite covid restrictions ( I am coming from shanghai august 2022 and it went smooth)

It was the first time I brought my family to Nanning for a trip. The hotel I stayed in was great, with beautiful scenery and a riverside park next to it. It was very comfortable to take a walk. There were also small animals in the hotel, which the children loved very much. Xiao Luo and Xiao Jing at the front desk were also very enthusiastic to help us. I will choose this hotel again next time I come.

TToon KeeHotel is at prime location close to food and shopping with walking distance to Nanning Railway, Nanning Railway Station Metro and airport bus is just on the opposite. There are 2 check-in area at different building. Entry to room level is via card. Room is clean and spacious with amenities provided including sanitized towel. Faculty tv remote was replaced with speed. Request for late check out at 3pm is available. Staff service is good. Hotel has a caring corner. Enjoyed my stay!

GGuest User是為了看演出選的酒店，到文化藝術中心大概十幾二十分鐘的走路路程，距離合適。周圍環境比較安靜，離邕江綠步道挺近，散步方便。房間設施比較新，衞生間的乾濕分離做得很好，就是洗漱台矮了些，洗臉漱口容易濺水花到水池外。客房打掃可以再細緻一些，第二天的浴帽沒有及時補充，聯繫前台後是機器人派送到房門，很可愛，不過既然有機器人為什麼不能一起派送外賣呢？餐廳和房間的風景都不錯，躺在沙發上休息觀景都很舒服合適。

HHo FongMy sister & I chose to stay here for five nights because of its location (close to IKEA shopping mall & its close proximity to the metro) as well as its competitive pricing.
There are many pros about this hotel:
- superb service (very responsive, helpful & polite staff) - the room is quiet, clean & spacious
- there is also a laundry room with one washing machine & one dryer as well as an steam iron; washing detergent is provided as well, which is a bonus.
- although only two bottles of drinking water is provided FOC every day, we managed to get an extra four bottles when we made the request at the front desk
The cons, which I hope can be improved on are:
- the wifi: we weren’t able to use it the whole time we stayed here, which, I think is the biggest flaw of the hotel
- there’s only one washing machine & one dryer. For a hotel this size, it’s reasonable to provide at least two of each.
Will I consider staying here again and/or recommend it to my friends & relatives? The answer is a definite YES but I hope that management will address the above issues mentioned above as soon as possible.

LLee Hui TengExcellent hotel. Very modern and clean. Noise insulation was great. Our rooms were near the lift lobby. No noise issues. The bed was the most comfortable one amongst the five hotels we stayed at during our visit in Guangxi. Laundry room available. Free of charge. The basin, shower room and toilet were very clean. Housekeeping did a good job. All the white towels were comfortable and clean. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast. I liked steamed sweet potato, corn and yam. Lots of healthy options. The food presentation was great. Quality coffee was provided. It would be great if the hard boiled eggs were not overcooked. The hotel is located two stations away from Qingxiu park station. The Metro is right outside the hotel. Only 2 - 3 yuan away from Chaoyang and MixC mall. Ample choice of eateries surrounding the hotel. However, mostly Chinese cuisine. The morning market and fruit market are within the proximity. The receptionists were very professional. One of them helped us (5 pax) to book taxis to the airport. It cost CNY124 to the airport. Meter taxi. Overall, we had a pleasant 3 night stay. Highly recommended.

MM LeongLocation very good. Hotel has own lobby and parking so easy to use DiDi. Also walking distance to metro station and biggest shopping street in city.
Room has pros and cons. Room looks dated and my room #902 window look out to old dilapidated buildings. Also quite noisy during the morning as my room was near to the neighbouring food street. WiFi is fast and hot shower pressure is strong. Towels are all individually packed so hygiene is good.
Will still recommend as price presents good value for money in the biggest city in Guangxi.

NNguyetDTMThe location is easy to find, the front desk Xiaoli is considerate and hospitable, the hotel is equipped with a 24-hour gym, the laundry room is very convenient with LG industrial washing & drying machines. The guest room equipment is also very new and clean. Intelligent equipments like Xiaodua, automatic curtain and night lamp are plus points. The breakfast provided by the hotel is very good. Staffs of the hotel are very supportive and nice. Though, they can not speak English, we still communicate well via Google translate. There is a very very good restaurant near to the hotel (you can see in the restaurant bill attached, just 900m far from the hotel). We also can reach Nanning Renmin Park by foot (i.e 25-30 mins).

GGuest UserOverall the hotel is well organzied. Only staff not smart, careful and not detailed in mind.
My stay extended one day, since cannot change the original booking (a 2 days stay), I made another one separately. Upon check in, reminded reception, and the gentleman did arranged my check in through out entire 3 days. Unfortunately, the assigned room at 19th floor (?) has bad smoke smell, thus I requested a change of room, at first the customer service lady on phone asked me to open window, and giving different kind of excuse and tried to refuse my request, after much request, she said she will arrange and will can me back. Which took 15-20mins and still no return call for updates, until I called again and finally got a change of room to 18th.
another 2 bad experience were :
1) after changed room to 18th, only 2 days being arranged and on the 3rd day when I returned to room, my card was disabled and I had to go down to reception and got my card reactivated, where the girl did challenged me about my booking, said it's no record showing that I have 3rd day booking...
2) my booking is executive room, with free lounge service, after being moved to 18th, I am not able to access 19th to enjoy the lounge, and, I had to go down to reception, again...
for the rest, overall service is OK, and the lounge is great.

MMelbiesReally great hotel experience for us. After traveling for a month this was our last stop. We asked for a quiet room hoping we could finally have some peace and quiet. But this time of year there will be so many families with small children running and jumping around the rooms. The lady told us “we’ll give you a room no one likes.” Hahaha! But unfortunately we were still surrounded by loud families. Anyways the hotel lobby is very big and beautiful. The service was excellent. The doorman helped take our luggage up to the room. The room was very large and spacious. Huge bathroom with with separated toilet, sink/mirror, bathtub, and shower. The view was boring but we told the lady we didn’t care about the view. The bed was nice and soft, very comfortable. WiFi worked well. Water pressure for the bathtub and shower was great! Best water pressure I’ve experienced in 10 years of being in China. The bed is not facing the direction of the tv which usually bothers me as I like to watch tv/movies while lying in bed. But the tv in our room was set up to extend outwards and then towards our bed. That was really awesome as I have never seen any hotel do that before. Really great they did that 👍🏼👍🏼 our cleaning ladies did a great job everyday, they noticed we always drank the free waters and gave us a couple extras. So many small details helped us really enjoy our stay here. The location is also good. About 5-7 minute walk to the metro station. Cross the street via the metro station and there is a very large IMAX cinema and several shopping malls with lots of great food and entertainment options. The MIXC mall is about a 15 minute walk away. Great hotel, great service! Will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Nanning. Thank you!

GGuest UserThe room is very good, close to the city, the front desk staff is super enthusiastic, the cleaning lady is also very gentle, the child accidentally knocked over the trash can and the auntie was very patient and not angry at all. I will stay here again next time if I have the chance.

LL S HArrived at about 10 pm by high speed train from Chaoshan Railway Station to Nanningdong Railway Station. The hotel is very near to the station's exit but it appears that there is no clear directional sign to the hotel. Asked around a couple of times before I found it. Facilities are adequate for those who just want to stay a night and to catch an early train the next morning. The take-away breakfast was a nice touch. It served my purpose as I took an early train to Baise. I have breakfast on the train. I am happy with my stay.
