Great Stay – Relaxing and Well-Serviced!
I had a really good stay at this accommodation. The staff were all very kind and accommodating, from the front desk to the housekeeping team. The receptionists were very courteous and helpful—they will you arranger your island hopping tour and van transfer with no hassle at all.
All the breakfast meals were delicious, and I really appreciated the free cocktail at the bar area—it was a nice touch! The lounge area was also a great place to relax, and having an ATM on-site was super convenient.
The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, and the housekeepers were polite and respectful. The guards were also very helpful and assisted in calling a tuktuk whenever I needed one.
One of my favorite parts of the stay was spending time by the pool—it was peaceful and perfect for relaxing.
All in all, it was a very good stay. I felt comfortable, well taken care of, and truly relaxed throughout my visit. Highly recommended!
The hosts are the friendliest people alive. They were so kind and helpful so I felt so comfortable. The room was great and big. It has an air conditioner and a small fan inside your box. Your capsule has a curtain made of wood and it was so cool.
They provide a small breakfast since 7.30 am. It usually bananas, buns and peanut butter. On the first floor they have a cafe and you get a 15% discount if you're a guest of a hostel.
Great hostel with amazing staff who remember your name and good bar/ restaurant at the top floor.
WiFi could be improved a lot in the rooms especially as this was very poor, although much better in the common areas.
Could also add better/ quieter seating are for people who want to get work done.
The location is a good 15 minute walk from town but close to the hospital and other small convenience stores.
Bathroom facilities etc. were really good with some wear/ tear here and there with the shower heads.
The pool upstairs was amazing but could be made better with more seating areas and possibly a little more heating.
I went on a 13-day trip around Palawan and Coron was my first stop from Cebu. In Coron, I stayed in Dayon Hostel. I was alone for the duration of my three-night stay in the six-bed female dorm. You can choose to lock the door at night for security. I made sure that I turned off the AC every time I went out.
The restrooms are clean especially the toilets although the shower rooms need to be upgraded as some showerheads do not function that well. It will also be nice if they do a thorough cleaning of the shower rooms and the sinks as they looked dirty and unkempt.
There is a restaurant on the rooftop but the options are limited. If you exit through the back, it leads you the main road where you will find a wonderful cafe that serves good sausage meals. There are also several local options available if you want affordable options.
The price I paid was worth the quality of the stay. The hostel is known by tour operators and guides and so it was not a challenge when it was time for pick-up and drop off.
I loved the staff especially when I had to leave early in the morning to head to the port for my trip to El Nido. They arranged my transportation and made sure that I left the hostel on time.
Will I go back? Maybe not and it's not because I don't like it. It's just that I felt that my next stay should be in a private room for another worthwhile experience in Coron. But for those solo travelers on a budget, Dayon Hostel is your best bet in Coron in as far as affordable sleeping option is concerned.
If you are just looking for a place to spend the night and leave your bags, this is a great choice! Booked a night for only Php 511 (around US$10). Of course, for that very low price there is no free breakfast, no complimentary toiletries (but it is available at the counter and is for sale), the hostel has its own restaurant and bar, there is a cozy place to hangout outside and there are plenty of hammocks. Location wise it is great because it is just in front of the Robinson's mall where you can practically get anything (you can easily choose to eat there if you don't want to eat at the hostel's resto). If you don't mind having people talking after 10pm in your room or if you can stand the noise of other people preparing very early in the morning, and if you don't have any trust issues with regards to leaving your baggage. Then this is a great choice!
A great hostel with all you need included, free breakfast, free alcoholic drinks from 6-11pm, personal lockers with combination code access so you don’t need your own lock, mineral water tank in the bathroom to brush your teeth, hot showers, even a small gym area. This hostel is super social so it’s great for solo travellers as well as groups, really affordable would recommend!!

VVictoria&JessiMy overall experience is good! I'm the type of person who prefers active travelling, so the hotel is needed literally just for sleep, shower and storing stuff.
My requirements for the hotel were good proximity to the city center and nice room with hot shower. Well, the location is truly good, it's a bit on the hill so to get to the city center you just need to come down. In the same building there is a great cafe DAYO who offer 10% discount per day for the Oceana Bay hotel's guests.
During our trip to Philippines, Coron was the last destination and the 4th hotel we stayed at, and that was the only one with some room facilities issues. When we checked-in it turned out there is no water in the shower, the staff truly tried to be helpful, the receptionist girl offered us to stay in another upgraded room before the problem will be solved. The thing is when one day later we had to return to the room the problem with the water wasn't solved, we had to contact staff all the time which for sure was absolutely inconvenient, especially when water could be cut off during taking shower. At that point nobody cared already, there were no offers to change the room or to offer us a discount. The siphon from the sink was leaking, so every time you wash your hands, the bathroom floor is immediately in water.
The AC is truly loud, but this is absolutely normal for Philippines, as well as the absence of hair dryer. Nice thing that the hotel unlimitedly provides drinking water in the hall. The hotel also offers tours, bike rent, transfer to the airport, but I'd suggest to check it out in the city first, we've found more convenient and better price offers there.

YYANGThe price is very affordable. Hotel service is very good, the staff is very good, will greet you, help you solve the problem is very enthusiastic. The shower water is not hot. I have troubled people three times. The breakfast type needs to be notified one day in advance and the next day. In fact, all three are similar, not too rich but very delicious. The rooftop is also a place to eat breakfast, the scenery is very beautiful, the roof can also dry clothes, so even if your room does not have a balcony. The day before you leave, you can go to the airport car in advance, someone will pick it up. It is very convenient to go to the place where you can eat in the dive shop. It is the central location from the big step on the edge of the hotel. There are all. The only problem is that the chicken is called in the middle of the night. It will start at about 3-4 points. It will stop calling. The chickens are kept under the hotel. On the side, the whole town of Cologne is called chicken. I don't know if it has improved now.
GGuest UserThe best hostel I’ve come across! The lofts were a fantastic little room to stay in. You get to enjoy the therapeutic sounds of the wind and the water in the evening, which is bliss.

Ddiana_tribanova@mail.ruThe room is old, everything was fine except for the plumbing, it was really terrible. The bathroom does not match the price for the room. We were on excursions every day, so the room was normal for us. There was hot water, but it quickly ran out, but you could wash yourself with warm water without getting cold. The hair dryer was good, the air conditioner also worked great. I really liked the breakfasts and the gorgeous view from the cafe. In the room in the evening until 11-12 o'clock you can hear music and it is noisy, but then it is quiet. In general, we liked it. And there is also a safe, although it only locks with a key, but for us it was important so as not to carry passports and money with you.
MMafetsgOne of the best hotel that fits for families and dont want to buy expensive food from outside, coz villa Pamana Inn hotel allows you to cook to enjoy a meal with your family, very accommodating staff 10/10,very clean rooms and their pool was well maintained, decided to extend 1more night to stay.Kudos to the handa on owner👏👏👏
MMaeil LeisureI recently stayed at Casa Belina and was thoroughly impressed with the value for money. As a budget-conscious traveler, I was blown away by the 5-star services offered at this affordable hotel. The complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off service was a huge perk, saving me a hassle and some extra cash. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with friendly staff always willing to lend a helping hand. Overall, I would highly recommend Casa Belina to anyone looking for a great deal without sacrificing quality - it's an absolute gem!
