"Very recommended hotel. First of all, the scenery is beautiful, looking out from the room, the sea is wide and the clouds are high, and the thousands of sails are over. Nearby, there is a mountaineering observatory that can have a panoramic view of the Laishao Strait Bridge. You can also go down to the beach, look at the strait from another angle, there is no one on the beach, you can enjoy the quietness alone. There is also a bicycle rental point nearby, but it is recommended to go as soon as possible, because it is charged by the day, from 8 am to 6 pm, it must be returned. The cheapest bike model of the day is 3,000 yen a day. You can ride along the Strait Bridge to Guishan Park, or ride further afield, and you need enough physical strength and time. Breakfast and dinner are very rich."

"The hotel has a great atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and the staff are very fluent in multiple languages, including providing room instructions in several languages – a thoughtful touch. Downstairs, there's a welcome bar table with a wide selection of drinks (including alcoholic beverages) and a microwave for light meals. It's a great place for groups to chat and enjoy drinks, fostering a pleasant and collaborative experience. The onsen (hot spring bath) is also very clean and comfortable, though a bit small. It might feel cramped with a large group, but the room TV displays the number of people allowed in the onsen, allowing you to schedule usage. Washing and drying facilities are provided, which are easy to use and convenient, perfect for washing clothes immediately after cycling."

"All rooms are said to have ocean views, but room 305 doesn’t have an ocean view… The sea can be seen in the distance from the bathroom??? Is it because I used Trip to stay a little cheaper? I was very disappointed with the view that felt like a small room. The sauna glass is not clean, so the view from the sauna is not very good... Nevertheless, I was impressed by the staff's consideration and kindness and the way they did their best to give even 10 stars less. It was a very happy trip, especially thanks to the staff who said Nepal was their hometown."

"This house is located on the Shimanami Kaido bike route. The location is convenient. The hostess is a pleasant, friendly woman. However, check in room only until 7 pm. This is inconvenient if you are cycling there for the first time and can't time what time you will get there. Also, the house has a shared kitchen which is quite dirty, cramped and cluttered with miscellaneous junk. Toilets and showers are shared. They were clean, but not particularly new and quite cramped. We feel that this hostel needs to be renovated or the price of the room needs to be lowered."

"Nice home comfortable to stay, good location by the seaside with supermarket ready at the back of the house! Sauna and ice bath available too! The only thing is the kitchen is very small to cook. Would recommend for group travelling but not too much cooking! Or otherwise the BBQ grill is available. "

This was what they said: Wonderful facilities and a great location for those who are cycling the Shimanami Kaido. The hosts were incredibly charming and helpful and even drove us to the nearby sushi restaurant (highly recommend) and organised a lift back. Highly recommended for those who are in the area. "This was the only place we stayed at in Japan that had a stove, it was a nice break from hotel rooms. It looks just like the pictures. Just a random tip for others: We planned to cycle the shimanami but couldn't at the end of the day. We took the ferry to Setoda and tried to take a bus from there to the accomodation but the busses don't travel between the islands. Uber and Go don't operate there. We ended up walking over the bridge between the islands and asked the people at the Cyclist Sanctuary to phone us a taxi."
