It's a very old-fashioned hotel. The air conditioner in the public area can't be turned on. It's not very hot. There is no toilet in the room. You need to walk to the public area. I happened to live on the second floor this time and had to carry my luggage up. There is no sense of service and the hotel is also No meals are provided. If you arrive late, you can only buy instant noodles from a nearby supermarket.

Amazing place to stay,aesthetic view and a great amazing dinner and breakfast ambience. I choose and booked the private villa with pool and which is good,I enjoyed the dinner foods they served us,so classy and elegant presentation. So I ordered the bottle of botega champagne which is fit for the foods they offered. Lovely it was and amazing wonderful evening. After we had a night pool with my partner and we bring our own foods and drinks champagne for the long night to celebrate our stay. I’m very satisfied for my stay at this place. How should I put it? This is definitely the concept of a youth hostel, but the youth hostel I booked for 1,890 yuan didn't even have breakfast, so it was not worth it. There was no way I could book another hotel because I had stayed in a newly renovated hostel run by an elderly couple that was over 60 square meters the night before. The bathroom is shared, although there is a small hot spring pool that is ok, but everything else is average. The quilt cover and mattress are that kind of brown, which is the color of the bed in a hotel that I fear the most. If it's not white, you can't tell whether it's clean or dirty. In short, it's okay to stay within 500 yuan. In the summer, you must check the weather. It rained heavily for two days when we went there 🌧️. We couldn't go out, and it was very inconvenient to take a taxi. Just for reference.

This was my first in-depth visit to Shimoda, and the hotel was conveniently located just two bus stops (about a 3-minute ride) from Shimoda JR Station. Right across from the hotel, you can rent electric-assist bicycles for 2000 yen a day, which I highly recommend. The dinner and breakfast were decent, but the service was really good. My fondest memory is definitely the lobby where you can enjoy complimentary drinks like beer, sake, and even champagne!

This is more annoying. Others are fine. Hotel service staff is very good. The hotel is right by the sea, convenient, no need to say. If you are particularly afraid of cockroaches, you should find a new hotel. The old hotel may be difficult to have no cockroaches, after all, it is all wood. There is a Keikyu next to it, the price is double, but it is definitely a ”clean hotel”.

It has history and the building is old. However, the location from the room was the best with a panoramic view of the sea and an indoor bath. The meal was also a buffet method, but the quality was good, including seafood, meat, Chinese, desserts, and drinks such as sake, and I was very satisfied. Overall, the customer service attitude of the employees was good, and it was a recommended inn for family travel.
