Guest UserMy first stay at Kaiyuan Senbo was a great experience. I brought my cat, and the front desk staff politely informed me that pets aren't allowed in the main building. They automatically upgraded us to a forest cabin free of charge. Knowing that my elderly companion had trouble with their legs, they arranged for room 9003, which was quite close to the lobby.
The room amenities were good; the fridge was cold enough, and the toilet and shower were separate. There was even USB charging, and children's toiletries and a footstool were provided, all great details. The duvet was just the right thickness, which I really appreciated – I hate it when hotel air conditioning isn't strong enough and the duvet is too thick. However, the pillows were a bit too flat. On May 30th, during checkout, a staff member driving by offered to take us directly to the parking garage. Overall, the service here was excellent, and our butler, Xiao Bai, was always checking in on our needs.

Honestly, the hotel room was decent, but I remember finding something dirty, so I can't give the cleanliness a five-star rating.
The shiba inu at the entrance was absolutely adorable, and the overall hotel atmosphere definitely earns five stars.
The service was absolutely impeccable; the staff was so enthusiastic! Excellent! Definitely worth a visit.
The hot spring water wasn't hot enough, not as hot as a public bathhouse. The TV and the pool were positioned awkwardly, making it inconvenient to watch TV. The facilities definitely left something to be desired. It would be perfect if they could add a direct screen projection over the bathing pool.
The hot spring is only open from 10 am to 10 pm because of equipment noise. They could actually solve the noise issue, but it would require spending more money on soundproofing.
Overall, if the price is low, it's definitely worth it. If it's high, it's just average. But for the price I paid, around 400, it's certainly a very good guesthouse.

The room was very spacious, with two 1.35m beds pushed together. Lying in bed, you could barely find the other person (hahaha). In the evening, I went to the indoor public hot spring, which had many massage jets and was very comfortable. It was a bit cold outside, so I didn't go. The next morning, I soaked in the hot spring on the room's balcony, basking in the sun – it was truly relaxing! However, the dining was quite average. Breakfast was a bit awkward; guests from another hot spring hotel also came to the Four Seasons Hotel's restaurant for breakfast. So, it was very crowded, with lots of elderly people and children, making it very noisy, and the food selection was limited and mediocre. The hot spring buffet dinner for 68 RMB per person was just standard. The hotel's butler service was quite good; they answered all questions and even gave a departure gift, which we enjoyed on our way home.

I highly recommend this hotel! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt a comfortable atmosphere. The decor is simple yet grand, with elegant green plants adorning the public areas. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, with a well-planned layout that doesn't feel cramped. The bed firmness was just right, and there were two pillow thickness options, perfectly meeting my sleep needs. The bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation, and the hot water supply was ample and stable. The toiletries were of good quality, not cheap-feeling at all. The most pleasant surprise was the attention to cleanliness; under the bed and in cabinet corners, everything was spotless, with no dust or hair. The service was another big plus. They proactively helped with my luggage during check-in, and when I needed extra towels later, they arrived within minutes. They were always available when needed, yet never intrusive. The restaurant menu offered a wide variety, with fresh ingredients and delicious food. Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, this is an excellent choice.

Guest UserI decided to stay in a hotel for one night. The hot spring town has good hotels. I decided to go to this hotel because the rooms are big. I didn't see the garden-style building clearly at night. When I went to the room, I passed some courtyard corridors and felt like I was living in the palace. The room was very big, the bed was very big, there was a bathtub and balcony, and there was a lantern festival opposite and people set off fireworks. It was a great night. Although the breakfast on the second day was not a buffet, there were many varieties and I couldn't finish it. The service was also very good. I walked around the hotel and it was very tasteful. I can stay in this hotel again. I recommend it.

Guest UserFirst time here, and we got upgraded to a Four Seasons room right at check-in. The room was huge and even had a private hot tub, which was fantastic! You can use your room card to access the hot springs twice a day, and even go again after checking out the next day, which is super convenient. The hot springs have both indoor and outdoor sections; my favorite were the indoor massage pools and the heated stone beds. There's also a swimming pool, and they offer complimentary red date tea if you get thirsty. The butler and front desk staff were very warm and helpful, providing excellent service. The hotel offers a buffet dinner and an à la carte restaurant, which is a nice touch. Breakfast had a great variety too. It rained during our stay, so we didn't get to explore the surroundings much, but it's very close to Shanghai, so we'll definitely be back!
