"A very cozy hotel with a warm, home-like atmosphere. The view from the window is just like a postcard — absolutely breathtaking. The location is great — only a 10-minute easy walk to the shuttle stop that takes you to the mountains. The hotel owner is incredibly friendly and kind. Upon arrival, he upgraded me to a more spacious and comfortable room at no extra charge. He also helped me plan the best route based on my available time and the weather conditions, and shared many interesting stories about the local history. The rooms are clean and well-equipped (hairdryer, air conditioning, toiletries). I had read in previous reviews about weak water pressure and unstable temperature, but everything worked perfectly for me. My room had a shower and a small bathtub. There’s also an option to order food to the hotel, but I chose to have dinner in different spots around town — there are plenty of cafes nearby, as well as pharmacies and supermarkets. At the end of my stay, the hotel owner arranged a transfer to the station for me, which cost five times less than a regular taxi ride. Even after I returned home, he reached out to check if I got back safely and if everything was alright. I’m very happy with the hotel and the quality of service. Thank you for the warm hospitality! "Floral Songye is very service-oriented. Shon, who can speak English, helped us plan our hiking trips and advised us on the nearby attractions. They helped us get rides and book us tickets at a lower price than we can get them ourselves. They also provided us with free rides to and from Huangshan and nearby attractions. They have quite a good menu at their restaurant and the food is delicious. The rooms are very comfortable and they provided us with free tea and snacks. The hotel is right next to the beautiful Emerald Valley. We would definitely stay with this family hotel again when we next visit Huangshan."

"The hotel is 5 minutes away on foot from the bus station that takes you up the mountain, so for those who want to hike, it's very convenient. They offer different services in the hotel: a hot spring (you get one free access during your stay), massages, a restaurant for dinner (which is pretty nice), another one for breakfast (which is quite complete and offers a nice view of the mountains), and a small shop. I don't speak a lick of Mandarin and most of the staff don't speak any English, but they took all the time needed to explain things I was wondering about and even helped me buy my ticket for the mountain. One woman does speak a bit of English, she was really nice and helpful, and even connected with me on Alipay so I could message her if I had any questions during my stay. I was lucky to be upgraded, the room was very big and comfortable. Good value for the price. Overall, I liked my stay in this establishment."
