5-Star Hotels in Huangshan

This hotel is quite good, with a few details which could be improved. The location is perfect if you want to hike the Huangshan Mountain. One of the areas where you can buy the bus tickets to get to Huangshan is less than 1km away (towards the mountian). You can either walk there or order a Didi go get there. The disadvantage of the location is, that all the buses, which go to Huangshan, pass right in front of the hotel and therefore there will be some noise starting from 6am. However most people will get up early anyway. At night the location is quite. The rooms are very nice and for example the bath room was very nice, but some other furniture is a little bit dated and shows a cheap design. Also some in some areas (breakfast room) some maintenance would be needed. The breakfasts is good, typical Chinese (not the same as in a 5 star hotel, but you can get many things). The outside hotspring pools, are nice, but they have all the same temperature (about 38°). The temperature displays which are installed are not accurate at all, in some pools it shows 45° and in others 34°. But it is all the same (I measured it). The staff is nice and helpful, however they don't know a lot of English. Overall the hotel can be recommended, but I hope they will work on some improvments here and there.

We stayed at the Qinman hotel 13-16.05.24 for the trip to Huangshan mountain and nearby Hongcu village. Despite the hotel situated ~3km from the tourist bus stop we find the location one of the big benefits: there is no hustle, loud noises of the cars and hordes of tourists: you can peacefully relax and enjoy quite and slow mornings and evenings. The hotel is beautifully designed? Rooms are spacious and perfectly cleaned. The staff of the hotel is very attentive to all questions, very friendly and polite, even despite we didn't speak Chinese the personal organized our stay perfectly and used WeChat with translations to give online feedback to any requests! Special thanks to Ms. 慧慧 HuiHui she helped organize transfers, morning breakfast for takeaway and tea with delights to our hot springs. Worth to note! This hotel has its own private hot springs, in May temperature in n the evening can go down to ~18C, fresh hot water helps you relax after long busy days and mind can fully rest in the silence of the night. One of the surprises of the stay was free laundry, it is extremely useful after hikes in n the mountains. Hotel restaurant has great breakfast with local farmer's products and freshly ground good coffee from reputable roasters. If you are a tea lover you'll find tea store from farmers just in front of the main gates, in the rooms you'll find local tea and tea set for tea ceremonies 😀. What is more? The dinner is delicious, especially local fishes. If you arrive by the bus to Tangkou the hotel staff can organize a transfer from and to bus station for free. We highly recommend Qinman hotel for everyone!

The hotel is in line with the concept of garden vacation, with the feeling of small bridges, flowing water and people's homes. The room is much larger than expected. The room on the first floor has a door facing the back garden. You can push the door out and rest on the chair outside to take pictures. It is more beautiful when the lights are on at night. Overall, I am satisfied

Our stay at the J. Mountain hotel was beyond our wildest dreams. I rarely leave reviews but our 3 nights here were so stunningly exceptional that we felt driven to express our gratitude and appreciation for the stellar staff, service, and beautiful setting of this hidden gem of a hotel. The service was without exception some of the best if not the best I have ever experienced at a hotel, and I travel often, having visited over 20 countries in the last few years alone and stayed at many beautiful and well-known five-star hotels and brands. Despite being a very young hotel (having just opened in September) J. Mountain Hotel holds its own and then some. It began months before our stay when we reached out to the hotel on WeChat to ask for guidance on equipment, tickets, and transportation. As we are visiting from America the area isn’t necessarily the easiest to access or plan for. Responses were almost immediate no matter when we reached out and always went above and beyond. For instance, my mother is nearly 70 and although very active was worried about slipping and falling while hiking in icier conditions; they offered to even purchase crampons for us should we wish although they advised us we would not need them for the time of year we were here (they were right). While here their thoughtfulness included texting us updates on and warning us about inclement weather while we were hiking around Huang Shan (there is cell service), drying and fluffing our wet gear when we returned from a particularly wet hike, and most astounding of all resolving an incredibly stressful issue we had with an upcoming flight that had been canceled (they suggested and secured alternative means of transport to a second city and then arranged for a different flight with the airline directly). We must specifically give our thanks to Hotel Manager Ryan, who is young but clearly extremely talented and excels in his role. He not only oversaw and proactively sought to help us on every front but was responsible for resolving our flight emergency. He also clearly had directed staff to help us to their utmost ability at all times, including having breakfast and dinner ready for and served to us at the times we requested. Ryan also personally met us and gave us a tour of the hotel and its history and design, as well as accompanied us to the art gallery and an evening tea tasting held in the gorgeous tea house on the grounds. He checked in with us every day and night and made sure everything was to our liking. Driver Wang Kai was our personal chauffer throughout the stay and was extremely courteous, professional, and attentive; he was always there to pick us up and see us off at multiple locations throughout our trip and not once were we ever allowed to wait. He even brought us hotel slippers and large down jackets to change into out of our soaking wet gear when picking us up at the end of a hike. When we said we did not think we would need some of the gear they offer their guests, we noticed he packed it in the car just in case we changed our minds and needed them later. I could literally go on and on but wanted to make sure I left room to appreciate how beautiful the hotel itself is and how much attention to detail has gone into its design and planning; at almost every turn we discovered something that added to the ease, enjoyment, and comfort of our stay. J. Mountain Hotel, thank you for one of the best experiences we have had in many, many years.

After checking into the Phoenix Hotel, I had some concerns about its location far away from the city, but I was completely relieved the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby. This garden-style complex built on the mountain is a perfect blend of modern convenience and natural wildness. My stay here gave me a holiday experience that far exceeded my expectations. Spatial scale: The hotel covers a larger area than expected. The main building and the villa area are connected by a winding corridor, and each building maintains a perfect private distance. The most amazing thing is the nearly ten-meter-high dome in the lobby. Natural Gifts: * The location advantage of being backed by green mountains is fully utilized. When I opened the terrace door in the morning, a thin mist with the fragrance of plants and trees filled the room. Sitting on a rattan chair, I watched the mountain mist gradually change from dark blue to emerald green. Even my mobile phone became unnecessary. Service temperature: From the doorman to the room service, they all maintain a professional yet friendly sense of proportion Hygienic, clean and welcoming fruit

The environment is very good, large, private and quiet. The front desk butler and other services are good. From the beginning of receiving the order, the front desk Xiao Li followed up and confirmed the whole process. Before checking in, he helped us confirm all the dinner and afternoon tea reservations. The experience was very good. Thank you front desk Xiao Li. The dinner camping place is very beautiful and the ingredients are very fresh. Suitable for team building and family camping🏕️.

The hotel is in an excellent location, with a lake view and a secluded entrance, away from the noisy crowd. The courtyard room is excellent, with two suites and one courtyard, which is very friendly to a family of four. It was drizzling in the early morning, and the room was equipped with a large umbrella, which was considerate. The bedding is of high quality. It is recommended that all toiletries be changed to push-type ones for easier access. The service staff's uniforms are black and green, which are very nice. There was a shortage of staff during the May Day holiday, and it took more than an hour to wait for check-in. It can be seen here that the management and operation level still has room for improvement. The breakfast taste is average, which is quite different from other similarly priced homestays in the same village. Compared with such a beautiful accommodation environment, it is indeed surprising and disappointing.

My partner and I spent three wonderful days here and we would come back in an instant. It’s one of the most beautiful hotels we ever stayed at, and the staff is incredibly helpful. We had a huge terrace overlooking the fields, where we could just relax after some hectic days in Shanghai. The location is perfect, just outside the nearby town, but still close enough if you need anything. The hotels offers you a drop off to the main entrance of the Huangshan scenic area, which only takes about 10 minutes, so that you can be there early in the morning. When you visit the mountains, be sure not to miss out on the Western sea grand valley, it has less visitors and views are amazing. On our other day we visited nearby village Bishan, which was great, a cute little village with some artsy little cafes, eateries and shops. You can easily take a didi there. Every evening we had our meals at the hotel, which were delicious, and the breakfast was also outstanding, having both some local and western treats. We couldn’t be happier with our stay here. I feel that this is the most cost-effective hotel I have stayed in for so many years. First of all, the room rate includes two tickets to Qiyun Mountain with a ticket price of 68 yuan + two breakfasts with a wide variety of varieties. Secondly, we were upgraded to Building 3 with better conditions for free before check-in. Then the hotel has its own golf course, which covers a large area. It feels like walking in a forest park when you get up in the morning. Finally, the front desk clerk Xiaoxi and Xiaoba are warm and thoughtful, and they also gave our children a cute plush toy before leaving.

All kinds of satisfaction, see the above comments. A little suggestion: In addition to the dehumidifier in the windowless room, it is better to have an air purifier for guests to choose. The twin room was transferred from the king-size room. Because there is no window, there is still a little decoration smell that cannot be dissipated. The flaws do not outweigh the merits.
