Excellent hospitality

The hotel is easily accessible from both train stations and close to subway and bus stops. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. The staff is friendly, helpful, and speaks English. The breakfast is extensive, and the rooms are spacious and clean. Definitely recommended for a stay in Hohhot!

Had an incredible stay at Vyluk Hotel. The location is awesome. Surrounded by the city’s top shopping destination, and wedged evenly between two metro stations that give easy access to the rest of the city. Service was outstanding and the staff handled the foreigner registration process without issue. They also upgraded us to a city view room which was spectacular. There were many lights within the room which could be toggled by the bilingual wall buttons. Free water and toiletries are provided. The enclosed shower was great, as was the shampoo provided. The hotel does have the coveted delivery robot, so whether it’s ordering food delivery or getting extra tissues sent up, the robot comes right to your door and you receive a call to the in-room phone. Room service came on our second day and cleaned the place up. Nothing but the best to say in regards to this hotel. I should not the gym and pool were closed. The only issue I had with this hotel is that on Trip it goes by Vyluk Hotel and I believeI saw that name come up on one other map and that is it. There are no mentions of “Vyluk” outside or inside of the hotel which did make it harder to find given that there are several others nearby. The Chinese name is also not a transliteration but rather called Wei Lai 蔚徕. Nonetheless, I would 100% stay here over any other nearby hotels given the quality, service, and price which was half of those nearby.

When I checked in, at the front desk they were very welcoming and welcomed me, asking if I was Korean. They also mentioned the names of their favorite Korean idols. But the problem was that there was only one woman working in the evening. I said 卫生间里没有休纸, but she didn't respond. When I said again, sh said 听不懂 and turned her head around even before I was done talking. 休纸? It's wrong word? I was also embarrassed and said in English, "no paper in the toilet". Again she said 听不懂 and didn't make any response. "卫生间里没有休纸" "no paper in the toilet". I repeat the same thing in Chinese and in English again. What is this situation? Come on. A Chinese man waiting next to me saw this situation and said something to the employee, and then the employee looked at me, opened the back door and took out the tissue. What is this situation? It's not that she doesn't understand, but the hotel employee turned his head to the guest and refused to respond. I don't understand the employee's attitude.

For the price, the room is quite modern and spacious even though the exterior of the hotel suggest it to be a mid-range hotel. There is heater on the floor which makes showering quite comfortable despite the cold weather of Hohhot. The bed is comfortable and the water heater works well. Meanwhile the surroundings are all shopping mall and hence the location is really convenient. Definitely one of the best place you can stay in Hohhot

Great view through window. Spacious rooms. Location was little difficult to move around to shopping area.

Manager gave me a free upgrade to a room with window for better ventilation. Location is at the center of most tourist spots so it was easy to navigate and there are many good food around the hotel. Delivery orders are being delivered by a robot to the room straight so it was convenient. There is also a convenient store right next to the lobby.

Very clean, no smoking as advertisded. The beds were comfortable and they had very high tech lighting. Staff were friendly and everything was efficient.
