The location is amazing. It is literally IN TRNMONKAN, across the street is the tram station that will take you to Kagoshima station and other places as well of course. Along the street is the bus station, it’s very very convenient. However, since it’s next to the tram station it can be slightly noisy but if you bring an earplug that should cancel the boise from the train. The room is small but good enough for a solo traveller like me. There’s no staff to attend you. Everything is self service. You check in and check out using the check in machine. It’s very convenient! Instructions are clear and straightforward. Enjoyed my stay here!

The location is superb. Just 1-2 min walk from the airport shuttle bus stop. Plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants in the vicinity as well. Luggage storage was secure and such a breeze.

The hotel is relatively new, with convenient location and transportation. The airport bus station is just across the street. There are many places to eat and drink around, and it is the most prosperous and lively area in Kagoshima besides the Central Station. Check-in and check-out can be done automatically by machine, which is easy to operate and more convenient than the machines in some other cities in Japan where I have stayed before. Because it is automatic, there is almost no service. Toothbrushes and other things can be taken on the second floor, and you can also mix bathing agents by yourself. The room is small, but the bed is big. It is only suitable for single occupancy. It is not recommended for two people. The room cleaning is only on the third day of consecutive stays. On other days, it is just changing towels and taking out garbage. I stayed for four consecutive nights and came in to clean it on the third day. I think there is no problem. It is more environmentally friendly and saves manpower.

I used this hotel on my first trip to Kagoshima. When I first entered, I thought it was small, but it was no problem for a normal stay, and I was happy with the location. The Kagoshima Aquarium is within walking distance for sightseeing. Also, when I asked the front desk for a rental, they handled it without a word of complaint. The amenities were also good. This is my second trip to Kagoshima. This time I will try to stay in a hotel near Observatorykan Avenue. The hotel is relatively new and will open in 2023. The environment and transportation are very convenient, including buses and trams. In addition, the room is spacious and comfortable. Even the luggage storage is self-service, which is very convenient. The breakfast location is located on the ground floor of the hotel next to another connected restaurant. If you want to get out of the isolation at the hotel door, the restaurants are quite large, self-service style, and the taste is good. The location is the best and the room condition is good. Above all, the floor is not carpeted, which is good for hygiene. The only regret is that there is only one elevator. Other than that, I was satisfied overall.
