Yujingtan Oriental Hotel (Hekou Port Branch) ★★★★
"I stumbled upon this hotel by chance and was pleasantly surprised. The location is great, with easy access to transportation. The rooms are clean, and they even offer free breakfast and a laundry room. I personally think it's excellent value for money. Very satisfied!"
Qianqian Hotel ★★
"It's good hotel.."
He Kou Zhenpin Guomen Hotel (He Kou Port Store) ★★★
"The hotel's exterior architecture is really unique and easy to find. It's super close to all the must-see spots, all within walking distance. The room size was comfortable, and the internal facilities were great. There was no strange smell, the bedding was very comfortable, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was well-done. The owner and staff were all very welcoming, and the breakfast tasted good. Overall, I highly recommend it."
Jinliyuan Hotel (China Vietnam City) ★★★★
"The hotel I chose for this trip was amazing! From the moment I entered, the staff were incredibly welcoming, making check-in quick and attentive, and patiently answering all my questions. The decor was the kind of style that makes you feel comfortable, with exquisite details and warm, inviting lighting that felt welcoming and relaxed, like being at home. Both the public areas and the rooms were spotless, making me feel very safe and secure. This comfortable and welcoming atmosphere made the trip even more enjoyable, and I'd definitely stay here again next time! The view from the window was also fantastic!"
JianGuo Hotel HeKou ★★★★★
"We specifically booked a hotel away from the city center so we could get a good night's sleep. But starting at 7 AM, the hotel was using a lawnmower to cut the lawn right below our window, making a constant screeching noise. We called the front desk, but they didn't fix it. Our family was woken up at 7:30 AM and couldn't fall back asleep. Even after closing the windows, the noise continued until 9 AM. We didn't get any rest at all! It's incredibly frustrating. I wonder what will happen if they put that lousy machine on later. They have absolutely no consideration for their guests' comfort!"
Binjiang International Hotel ★★
"The staff at this hotel are extremely helpful! This was our first stop in China - they generously helped us find food for the evening, book buses for the next day, and called us a cab to get to the bus station."
Jiachen Hotel ★★
"Cheap room but on the 6th floor (no elevator). Helpful staff re changing VND and setting up Chinese payment app."
Hekou Dayi Hotel ★★
"Seeing that it opened in 2026, I assumed the hygiene and facilities would be quite good, so I booked it. However, I can only say you get what you pay for. The front desk service was quite good, but the room was not clean enough, so they changed my room. Even after the change, the room was still not good. It was on the fifth floor by stairs, so I figured I'd just make do for one night."
Asia Theme Hotel ★★★
"The stay was all good but the bottled water provided within the room likely had been filled up with tap water. I became so sick when consuming it on the train. I only drank water that day. And after being so sick (vomiting and becoming super sweaty) it only became worse as I drank more of that bottled water."

"The environment is good, very good"
Xinhe Resort
"Great hotel complex with a very nice pool. The room was very large and even had a bathtub. Breakfast was plentiful, although it seemed geared more towards Chinese guests. The staff were friendly and very helpful despite the language barrier. The only potential issue was that the air conditioning didn't really heat the room (at least we couldn't tell), but that was fine in February. We would definitely come back."
Huaning Hotel Kawaguchi
"The location is good. You can see Vietnam on the other side of the river from the room. There is a food street nearby and the port is a few hundred meters away. The free parking lot is not large and parking is tight during the tourist season."
Hekou Jingyuan Boutique Hotel
"The environment is great and it's very clean. I'll come again next time."
Tianbao Hotel
"The hotel is within walking distance of the Vietnamese border and the small town center. The view is okay. Unfortunately, the furnishings are outdated or broken. It looks like the area under the bed has never been cleaned."
Starlight Hotel
"Poor service awareness."
Diannan Hotel
"My favorite hotel on this trip is this one. The lobby is elegantly decorated. The parking lot at the door is very convenient. From check-in to check-out, every staff member made me feel at home. 1. The room is very clean and tidy with complete facilities. 24-hour hot water, free Wi-Fi, the room is also beautifully decorated, and the bed is very comfortable, allowing me to enjoy a good sleep. It is very convenient to call a taxi at the front desk. When I left, I bought a lot of Vietnamese specialties. The front desk lady helped to make an appointment for the courier to mail it home. Hehe, it was very convenient. The service is really very good. When I left, I had too much luggage and missed my personal belongings. The hotel also called me and mailed it to me [tears burst into laughter], which is very heartwarming. I will continue to stay next time, and I recommend it with five stars. 2 In addition, the breakfast is rich, diverse and nutritious. Moreover, the service attitude of the restaurant is very good, the waiters are polite and courteous, and they can provide services to guests in a timely manner. 3. The guest rooms are friendly, the service is good, and the movements are quick. The cleaning is very timely, efficient, thoughtful, and very good. The staff are very dedicated and can handle problems in a timely manner, and put themselves in the shoes of the guests."
Helen No.1 Hotel
"I saw a comment online, "It's a bit inappropriate to call it Helen No. 1." When the results arrived, it really didn’t work. I was going to hang up the clothes at night, but when I saw the mirror behind the door opened, I saw a piece of dirty clothes. My good mood was ruined for a moment. As soon as I entered the bathroom, I saw that the sink was a little dirty. Shampoo and body wash are all in bags. The TV can't be turned on either. But there is one thing to say, the scenery is really good 👍 It is by the river, and you can see Vietnam from the window. Facilities: obsolete Hygiene: Worrying Environment: Very nice Service: OK"
Kawaguchi Hotel
"Great place! If you are hungry at night there are some nice places that are open late, we met some people who invited us to eat & drink with them, the people of Hekou are very friendly!"
Jin Di Commercial Hotel
"Good environmental facilities"
Hekou Yueshang Zhixuan Hotel
"Overall, it's alright. It's relatively close to the port, and there's a convenience store downstairs, making it convenient to buy things. However, the cleanliness is a bit poor; it feels like it's not cleaned thoroughly. Overall, it's not bad."
Yibang Business Hotel
"Facilities: Budget-friendly hotel, has all the essentials, but the toiletries are outside the bathroom, so you can't use them freely. Cleanliness: No problems, OK. Environment: Located on a main street, easy to find, convenient for dining nearby. Service: Would be better if they were more proactive."
