The hotel totally surprised us with a free upgrade to a spacious 3-bedroom apartment! It had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer. The receptionist and bell boy were super friendly and helpful. Checking out was a breeze too. Just a heads up, the hotel doesn’t provide toothbrush, shaving kit, or cotton pads. You might need to ask the receptionist if you need them.

Apartments and its fittings are pretty old but all the amenities are there and it’s comfortable and cosy. The service was warm and friendly and efficient. The supermarket just in the lobby is a big plus.

Spacious, clean & homey. Relatively in well-maintained condition including the ovens & ref. A bonus was the unexpected earlier-than-usual check-in, offered immediately upon our arrival, outstanding! Housekeeping is very polite & accommodating. The master bedroom A/C unit though needs a little tune-up as it felt warmer than the 18 degrees we set. Overall satisfied in our stay.

Booked a 2 bedroom executive suite. Very clean and spacious. Service was very good and attentive. At the 4th floor is the restaurant, gym, swimming pool and lounge with coffee & tea. Location was about 10 mins walking distance to the Old Quarter. Would recommend.

Very incompetent workers and staff. In our room 1304 the key card did not work, we told about the problem three times, the staff told us that they would fix the problem, but even by the evening of the first day the key did not work. We were with children and tired, but the staff did not even apologize. We had to ask for another room and move our things. I do not recommend this place only because of the inhumane staff. Extremely disappointed in Somerset and Ascott

The location of the hotel is very good, and the area is also very large, but the facilities are relatively old, which needs to be improved. The service staff has a good attitude and the response is very timely.

Good Points -Customer Service from front counter are superb with friendly communication -Chambermaids are pleasant and well verse on their job - Good facilities with swimming pool, gym room, table tennis, pool table -Fully equip like hardware cutleries, washing machine, hair dryer & toiletries -Negative Points -Shower water pressure low with inconsistent cold & hot -Dressing table alignment need to rectify properly with using strong metal support L-shape below as to prevent leg injury to any staying guests as shown on picture. anytime the wood base might drop and injure in-house guest legs

I’m checking in at 11 april night the receptionist man with glasses try to scam me he say we not pay the hotel room charge untill I show the proof of voucher from trip.com then he say OK only, and when i checking out today 10.30AM the same man in charge he say we going to breakfast 5 people so he demand me to pay 5 person in breakfast but I dont go breakfast so I confronted him and he check he only say OK no sorry at all i think this man try to scam me some money
