It’s not a Hilton anymore, remember! I stayed five days and four nights. There were no elevator services, and I don't trust they are upgrading them. I have to use stairs every day for three floors. I felt I was being cheated and paying that high price. When entering the room,…a bad smell. Probably the odour was from the carpet Car park... Full two nights for G mark slots. This means you have to find somewhere else. Breakfast, no coffee for two days. Ridiculous.

The hotel was beautiful smelt clean. We went to the steak restaurant attached to the hotel wasn’t impressed with it at all alot of things were not available on the menu.

Always a joy to stay here. Rooms comfortable with everthing you need. Sockets, mirrors, light all in right plac in rooms. Care and attention to detail. Beds very comfortable.

You don't need to step outside: great food, great restaurant, great bar, and wonderful and friendly service. But should you decide to do so, you'll find yourself in the best corner of Scotland best city. (I'd say Britain's, but am still tossing up between Glasgow and Leeds!) Cafes, independent shops, bars and restaurants, walks, parks, and museums a cynical 15 year old had to be dragged out of. Fantastic time. We booked an extra night. Don't expect the Shangri la. But authentic and homely. I will be back.

Very comfortable hotel , rooms have everything one would need. Only took off one star in amenities as staffing level at the bar and breakfast service was utterly insufficient for the number of guests. The staff themselves were very pleasant and helpful so not their issue . Management of staff Rita’s need improvement

Good place to enjoy the holidays

Hi, on arrival the hotel charged us £250 as they said the room hadn't been paid for! Went to room and checked and we had definitely paid you £204.98 for the room. So at the moment 1 night in a shabby hotel without breakfast has cost us £454.98. This is unacceptable!

The environment is very good, the room facilities are complete, but a little old. The elevator was under maintenance during the few days of stay, and the room was near the staff elevator, which was very noisy.

The room was clean. The front desk could help call a taxi and the hotel staff were friendly.

My friend said it was really average and there was no water in the room

The location is good, life is convenient, the service at the front desk is good, and they are willing to provide information and provide convenience. The breakfast is a traditional English breakfast with BLACK PUDDING and HAGGIS. The taste is quite satisfactory. The fruit is not fresh, it seems to be canned. It feels like the breakfast is outsourced, not like the hotel's own chef. The room was a decent size, a bit surprised that for a 4 star hotel there is no air conditioning, no bar fridge and no complimentary bottled water.
