paid to upgrade for king room with balcony and it’s really wonderful! The environment is not noisy and room is decorated aesthetically. Every staff is friendly hand helpful.

Very beautiful hotel! Clean and cozy. Nice host and the bed is really comfy. Location near the center of old city, easy to go everywhere. Will come back next time:)

Good location with lots of good restaurants and cafe around. Spacious(45M)room with microwave, stove, cooking utensils, rice cooker, full-size fridge, drinking water dispenser, washing+drying machine. I consider price extremely reasonable with all above provided. Surely I've made a good choice highly recommended.

The Christmas decoration was on point, very festive! Interior was clean and quite spacious. Very well located with lots of local cafes and restaurants nearby. We also loved the hotel dog who greeted us every time we entered and left the lobby. She was the cutest and sweetest dog ever!

The residence was clean and capacious. They don't speak english, but polite and agreeable during the stay - enjoyable all until check out in. We were charged for barely visible stains on two pillowcases (for 200k vnd = just less than 8USD). I am pretty sure it wasn't made by us as we did nothing but sleep on the pillows and didn't put them on the floor or anywhere else. As it wasn't a big sum in comparison to the hotel room cost (we stayed for 6 nights) and we were in a hurry to airport, we decided to pay without arguing. But we weren't allowed to leave until they check the room carefully, and they asked us to pay 20k vnd per bottle of drinking water (on check-in we were told specifically water was free, and check the minibar menu for other items, and the menu didn't even have a price for water so it is up to them whatever they want to charge) I will never stay here again. Although the stay itself was enjoyable , it will be a stress to have to to check all the items and linens in the room before your stay (in case they want to charge you for damage of any item), or else be ready for the stress of being charged for multiple items you can't imagine of on check out. It feels to me they are still the straightforward Vietnamese people not trying to hoax tourists. But it just isn't a smart business idea (in an otherwise beautiful establishment) to making guests feel unsafe and stressed that they may have to argue and be charged extra for unexpected items on check out and spending time arguing with language barrier towards the end of a supposedly relaxing trip when on a rush to airport. What is the point of charging guests for multiple items when they may be only a small fraction of the relatively high room price (we paid a premium for staying over Christmas, as expected for any hotel in that period) - they were trying to charge me around 1-2% of my total hotel stay fee for the , with persistence of accusing us that it is definitely our fault - that felt very accusatory. I am sure we would never be charged these staying in any other international chain hotel or airbnb. attached are photos of the minibar menu, and the photo they took of the stain on pillow they charged us for)

They recognize themselves as Hotel but its not , this is more like a homestay provider with unfriendly attitude (specifically young lady manager) and definately not professional hospitality service (all staff and managers are family member living there or what else … not really sure). At the day we checkout, they check out for such a 15 minutes and blaming us for the cause of flaws on pillow cover (dirt, paint… not sure) which we absolutely cannot make it as the flaw stays not at the side that our head lay up on! And no food or drink we brought up on bed also. This kind of the trick of them to charge more on us because we dont do booking directly via owner (Young lady here keep telling us to book the room with their own to gain better offer). Never comeback , super poor experince! Họ tự nhận mình là khách sạn nhưng thực ra không phải, đây giống như một nhà cung cấp homestay với thái độ không thân thiện (đặc biệt là cô quản lý trẻ) và chắc chắn không phải dịch vụ khách sạn chuyên nghiệp (tất cả nhân viên và quản lý đều là thành viên trong gia đình sống ở đó hay sao… không rõ lắm). Vào ngày chúng tôi trả phòng, họ kiểm tra trong vòng 15 phút và đổ lỗi cho chúng tôi về vết bẩn trên vỏ gối (bẩn, sơn… không rõ) mà chúng tôi chắc chắn không thể làm ra được vì vết bẩn không ở phía chúng tôi đặt đầu lên! Và chúng tôi cũng không mang đồ ăn hay thức uống lên giường. Đây là chiêu trò của họ để tính thêm phí vì chúng tôi không đặt phòng trực tiếp với chủ (cô gái trẻ ở đây liên tục bảo chúng tôi đặt phòng trực tiếp với họ để nhận ưu đãi tốt hơn). Chắc chắn sẽ không quay lại, trải nghiệm cực kỳ tồi tệ! 他们自称是酒店，但其实并不是，这更像是一个提供民宿的地方，态度不友好（尤其是年轻的女经理），绝对不是专业的酒店服务（所有员工和经理都是住在那里的家人，或者是什么……不太确定）。 在我们退房的那天，他们检查了大约15分钟，并把枕套上的瑕疵（污垢，油漆……不确定）归咎于我们，而我们绝对没有造成那个瑕疵，因为瑕疵不在我们头部放置的地方！而且我们也没有带任何食物或饮料上床。这是他们的一种手段，想要额外收费，因为我们没有直接通过老板预订（这位年轻女孩一直告诉我们直接通过他们预订可以得到更好的优惠）。 绝对不会再回来，极差的体验

It’s a very good, historic / rustic place, incl contemporary interior decor. My room had everything one would need incl separate living room, kitchen unit, washer dryer, balcony etc. It was clean and everything was well maintained, except perhaps balcony lighting (though I may have been pressing the wrong switch). Very recommended!

Room is big and comfort. Facilities was perfect! The lady who in frontdesk was so nice and helpful but very poor in english,so we need to spent time to communicate with..😅😅. But beside that everything was good to stay here. And the pho Infront the hotel was so delicious 👍🏻.

The hotel is very nice, with a retro style. The space is large and you can cook. The only downside is that I chose a room with a balcony this time. The balcony faces the street and the sound insulation is very poor. If you have a light sleep, it will be quite torturous.

I booked a homestay during the May Day trip to Hanoi. It was clean and hygienic, with a warm decoration. The room has an inner window so it is not noisy and very quiet. There is a restaurant just downstairs, which is quite convenient. I feel that the boss is family-run and very nice, but the male boss's English is not very good😂 but he is still very enthusiastic and communicates with a translator Overall, it is still recommended👏🏻

This room is very nice, exquisite, stylishly decorated, and well designed. The service staff is very good. The location is close to Hoan Kiem Lake, but not too noisy. Recommended for traveling in Hanoi!
