Clean and spacious

We drove to Hainan. We stayed at the Vienna International Hotel Haikou (Wanlvyuan Friendship Sunshine City Branch). The hotel had complete and smart facilities, was clean and tidy, had a nice environment, and the service was attentive and warm. The breakfast was nutritious and plentiful, and the surrounding restaurants were delicious and convenient for shopping.

I was immediately struck by the warm welcome from the front desk upon arrival; their smiles instantly dispelled my travel fatigue. The receptionist, Huihui, checked me in quickly. The 24-hour self-service laundry room, gym, and self-service coffee machine were incredibly practical and especially helpful for business travelers. The breakfast selection was extensive, and the attention to detail was evident throughout.

From placing the order to checking out, I felt truly valued at every step. On the morning of my arrival, the customer service manager called to ask about my arrival time and if I had any special room requests. During check-in, the young lady at the front desk not only completed the procedures quickly but also smiled and asked if I needed coffee. She arranged a room according to my preferences and introduced me to restaurants, attractions, and shopping malls. During my stay, she even remembered that I usually leave my slippers at the foot of the bed; when I checked out and realized I had forgotten my charger, the manager immediately arranged for it to be sent back by courier. This kind of service, which "understands the guests' needs better than they do," made me completely fall in love with this hotel, and I will definitely stay again!

Better than expected! I was in Haikou for a business trip and specifically chose a location in the city center with convenient transportation. The room was fully equipped, all with smart technology, the shower had great water pressure, and the internet speed was fast. The service was impeccable; the front desk staff were very attentive and efficient in resolving issues. Overall, the comfort level was perfect, and I would definitely choose this as my first choice for a repeat stay. I highly recommend it to my friends!

What a pleasant surprise! The room was even cleaner and fresher than I expected, even the corners were spotless. It's a newly opened hotel, and the facilities are brand new and easy to use. I stayed at this hotel twice in Haikou over the course of a few days. The first time, the only slight discomfort was the poor soundproofing, but considering the three beds were acceptable. The second time, the hotel didn't give us three breakfast coupons for the same room type, which made me a little angry! Also, the lack of a bathroom on the lobby floor was a bit inconvenient! The new hotel, while scented, still had a slight odor!

While the location is great and convenient for dining and traveling, I was thoroughly disappointed! The experience started strong but ended badly. First, the soundproofing was terrible; I could clearly hear the neighboring guest's phone ringing. There was a strong smell from the sewer, and the air was poor and stagnant. The room I was assigned was in a terrible location, with the window overlooking another guest's window sill, leaving me with no privacy and the curtains closed. The ventilation was poor, and there was no view outside the window; it was just a balcony, with no screens and mosquitoes. Second, the front desk lady's proficiency needs improvement. She frequently made mistakes during check-in and check-out procedures, requiring repeated communication and was extremely time-consuming and tedious. Finally, another staff member even asked if I had removed a no-smoking sign. "Why would I take that ****?" If there's a problem within your own organization, you should investigate first! If the statement is irresponsible or lacks any evidence, I suggest the hotel first consider a solution before calling the customer. Otherwise, I'll definitely hold them accountable. I stay in dozens of hotels a year, and I've encountered this bizarre situation here. I'll never stay at a hotel this poorly managed again.
