Edinburgh Hotels with Gym

Location. Location. Location. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the Edinburgh Airport. No need to worry about trams, taxis or Ubers.  If you want to go into Edinburgh, there is a tram that goes from the airport to the train station.  My room was clean and bright. The bathroom had all the amenities and great towels. Check in/out was quick and easy.

After arriving at Edinburgh Airport, I took the Tram to the West End stop, and then used navigation to walk to the hotel. The fare was £7.9 for adults, which I purchased at the self-service machine by the tram entrance. It's about a 15-minute walk to the Scott Monument, close to the city center. I arrived at 9 AM, and since a room was available, they allowed me to check in immediately. I stayed in a first-floor room, and the size was unbelievably large for the UK. Other floors are not like this. There's a hairdryer, iron, and ironing board. Shampoo is provided, but the body wash and hand soap are combined. No toothbrush or toothpaste. However, there's no kettle, coffee, tea, or mineral water in the room. You can get free tea and coffee at the bar near the check-in area on the first floor. There were some cleanliness issues; the underside of the toilet seat wasn't properly cleaned. The disabled facilities are very comprehensive.

We loved our stay at this hotel in Scotland. Perfect for a short trip—just a short walk to the airport. Breakfast was ready as early as 5am, which was such a bonus. Arrived before check-in time and the receptionist kindly allowed us to check in early. Everything was smooth and welcoming! Love!

Booked a twin room for a trip with the kids. The room was clean, no issues there, and the size is pretty standard for the UK. The bathroom was actually quite spacious, but the sink and basin design was terrible – especially the basin. It's a countertop basin with the faucet on the side (I don't usually take photos in hotels, so I forgot to snap one), and no matter how you use it, water splashes everywhere, all over the counter and the floor. The hotel doesn't provide complimentary bottled water; there's a message on the mirror encouraging you to drink tap water, which is fair enough. The tram station for the airport is very close to the hotel, but unfortunately, it was out of service on the day we were heading to the airport. We ended up dragging our luggage for about fifteen minutes to catch the Airlink 100 next to the train station.

The service was truly exceptional. My first stay was in Manchester, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was fantastic. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed it. So, when we saw that this apartment was available in Edinburgh as well, we didn’t hesitate to book it.🤩The Edinburgh Castle can be seen from the hotel’s entrance, and the street scene next to the hotel is also quite beautiful.

I visited Edinburgh over Easter, which was also my birthday, and had a wonderful stay. Magda was incredibly kind and arranged an early check-in before noon after I confirmed the day before. She also surprised me with balloons and chocolates in my room for my birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch. The staff provided clear information and gave excellent recommendations on places to visit, making my first trip to Edinburgh even more enjoyable. The hotel’s central location was perfect, close to all the main attractions, and the pool was a great bonus. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily visit again.

Fairly average hotel. Not worth the prices they charge. Emailed reception 3 times before arrival, not one reply. Room was nice and modern. Bed was comfy and shower was strong. Windows were only single glazed and looked over the train station which meant it was noisy even through the night. The executive lounge isnt really an executive lounge. Its just the breakfast room. Offering was fairly basic. Coffee machine didnt work much during our stay. On the lower ground floor so no windows. The old lounge upstairs was much better. Clearly cutting back on what they offer to save money. Breakfast was clearly designed for the American market. Crispy streaky bacon etc. Not what you normally get in the UK. Not the worst breakfast we've had but certainly not up to Hilton standard. Again, coffee machines not switched on so only standard coffee and tea was available, no cappuccino etc. Wouldn't stay here again. There are many hotels in Edinburgh that offer much better value for the price charged.

The absolute best thing about this hotel is the service! We checked in late at night, tired and cold after getting off the train. Isabel at the front desk was incredibly thoughtful, preparing various hot drinks for us, and cookies and teddy bears for the kids. She personally escorted us to our room, engaging in such a warm and fun interaction with my two children along the way that they absolutely adored her! During our conversation, Isabel learned about the kids' favorite colors and toys. The next evening, she even came to our room to deliver gifts for them, which made the kids incredibly happy! My older daughter repeatedly told me to make sure to give a huge shout-out to the lovely Isabel! The hotel's location is also great, convenient for both the train station and the attractions in the Old Town. The breakfast restaurant offers a nice view as well.

It’s a great experience staying in your hotel. Room is well equipped and very clean, shower was great, slept well in great bed. Staffs are nice, polite and accomodating. Location is nice, with gym, sauna, and starbucks inside. Worth a stay and highly recommended based on my experience. 🥰

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the attention to detail and the warmth of the staff. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring we both got a restful night’s sleep. What truly stood out, however, was the level of service. I was feeling a bit under the weather during our stay, and the staff went above and beyond by bringing breakfast directly to our room, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. This level of care really goes a long way in making guests feel valued. For those who prefer to enjoy their breakfast with a bit of fresh air, the hotel also has a charming terrace where you can take your meal while soaking in the surroundings. It's the perfect way to start the day if you want to enjoy a bit of sunshine. The location is also a major plus. It’s just a short walk to the city center, making it easy to explore, and for those who prefer not to walk, a quick 5-minute bus ride will take you wherever you need to go. The lounge area at the hotel is another highlight. It’s spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with blankets to keep guests comfortable if the temperature drops. It provided the perfect spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area. The combination of comfort, thoughtful service, and a prime location makes it a top choice. We will definitely be staying here again when we return!
