Location was a bit of walk from Waverley station about 10mins and located on the main street. Breakfast selection was good, no less expected from Marriott group. Room was big and clean. Overall a pleasant stay.

Overall excellent Hotel very strategic location to Waverley Train station,bus stop and St James mall

Just that hotel shower area needs better maintenance - stains on bathroom walls

The location of the hotel is very convenient and the car park facilities is also near if driving as it is in the city area. The room I booked is a queen's bed with the request of high floor. Actually I checked in quite early that day at around two o clock but the reception gave me a 2nd floor assessbility room which was out of my expectation. Upon my request, they can only changed to a standard twin room on 4th floor. The water pressure of the shower is very poor and made us very unpleasant. The breakfast was just up to standard. Only the food at 1802 restaurant is good at dinner time.

Hotel was near to the train station but it was so busy... I had to wait for a room. Not very new and clean for a Marriot chain and extremely expensive with no facilities and breakfast included. Stay somewhere else.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Courtyard by Marriott Edinburgh! The location is ideal, within walking distance to key attractions like Calton Hill, Princes Street, and the Royal Mile, yet tucked away just enough to offer a quiet, restful atmosphere.
The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the comfortable bed and spacious layout, which made it easy to relax after a day of exploring the city.
The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist, from smooth check-in to helpful recommendations on places to visit and eat. The overall service was consistent and welcoming throughout our stay.

Lovely stay at the courtyard by marriott. Room very clean. Had what you would need for a stay.
Ironing board iron, safety deposit box, mini bar.
Bathroom very modern design. Very clean.
Our room did not have a great view as at the back of the hotel, but it did not spoil the experience.
Would stay here in the future.
Value for money as breakfast included in price.

We like the location, very accessible from the train station, as well as the top tourist sights that we wanted to visit. Staff are helpful and friendly, my few minor issues were fixed right after I told the front desk. Mostly, the breakfast there is just excellent - hot food that is generously provided.
