Best Darwin Hotels

"Everything about Club Tropical Resort in the month of February, where the weather is consistently warm, humid and wet, is a complete joy to a visitor from Melbourne. The rooms are clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the ability to entertain friends and family are outstanding. The pool is the centerpiece of the whole site, where I spent many hours during my 7 day stay. For anyone who thinks it is too far away from the city of Darwin, there are supermarkets and the entire Casuarina shopping centre within a 5 minute drive. If it is wilderness you want, the resort is right next to that too with Buffalo Creek and Lee Point only a walk away. Parking is great, the restaurant was fantastic, and I am struggling to find anything wrong with my stay. But there was one thing - it was not long enough!"

"Novotel Airport Darwin is a typical airport hotel. They run an on demand shuttle to & from the airport terminal which is very handy, and only a short distance away. The rooms are simple, clean and functional. In room tea & coffee is provided, and there was fresh milk in the fridge. I opted to include breakfast in my booking, which was very good. Lots of choices, including traditional cooked breakfast, lots of bread options (some gluten free), yogurt, fruit and pastries. If you're on the run they provide take away cups for hot beverages, which is a nice touch. Overall I would happily stay here again."

"First of all, it was very clean because it was renewed. Nevertheless, due to the local characteristics of Darwin, I saw insects in the room on the first day, but when I told the office, I cleaned them and put them in the room. Locationally, there was a mindil sunset market within walking distance and cbd was not too far away. Although I inquired about the check-out rate due to the flight, I was disappointed about the part that cost $30 an hour, but other than that, it was generally a satisfactory visit."

"Its ok. A bit strange service from one of the receptionists, the only treadmill was out of order and bring your sunglasses because the light in the room is brighter than anywhere in the world (no soft light is present in the room). Breakfast was a la carte (maximized budget) and no fresh juices. Besides that it a nice suite with great balcony and pretty much most things you need."

"I loved staying here it was an absolutely beautiful Apartment. Very clean and tidy heaps of room and so close to everything. I definitely will be staying here when I come into town for the weekend. Thank you ❤️"

"The hotel is located nearby Darwin Interchange bus terminal around 5mins walking distance. Room is clean and spacious. Really enjoyed the stay. Will definitely come back again."

"The rooms were not in the best of shape. The spa did not work, the air conditioner was not in good working order which is needed in Darwin due to the heat, but the general cleanliness was good. The place seemed it was going to be renovated one day, but not sure. One pool was green. The overall experience was ok, but if I had had to stay for more than a weekend it would have been better at another place. It did the job of providing a bed to sleep, but best to be away from the resort during the day, which we did. "

"The hotel is conveniently located right in Darwin's CBD. A Woolworths supermarket is just outside, and Coles along with many dining options are all very close by. The room was very clean, and overall, it was a great stay. While there's a bar nearby that can get a bit noisy at night, it wasn't an issue at all with earplugs."

"The room was spacious and the location was excellent, with the ocean in front and the CBD behind. Everything in the city center was within walking distance. The noodle house on the street behind the hotel was delicious. The staff were very friendly, enthusiastic, and attentive. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Darwin."

"The hotel was under massive renovation. Couldn't get a good Waterview room due to that. The front desk staffs are very accommodative and helpful trying to offer other rooms and options. The swimming pool is the best and we really enjoyed it especially in the hot climates.The location is at the Esplanade,directly sea facing with a nice view and big park . Highly recommend!"
