I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel in Dali. The hospitality was exceptional ! The owner and staff were always warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. They offered great advice on getting around Dali and exploring the local highlights, which made my trip so much smoother and more memorable. The Erhai Lake view from my room was simply spectacular. Waking up to such a beautiful scene every morning was the highlight of my stay. The hotel itself has a very welcoming atmosphere, and everything was well taken care of. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who will be visiting Dali!

I've been so busy with work lately, and I really wanted to find a place to relax and unwind, so I decided to go on a solo trip to Dali. After comparing several B&Bs, I settled on this one. It felt like a dream trip back to the south of France. The hotel's white hues are predominantly white, with plenty of greenery inside. My room had a direct ocean view and a small balcony. The weather was perfect, so I sat on the balcony and enjoyed the hotel's thoughtful afternoon tea, which was incredibly relaxing. In the afternoon, I walked from the hotel to Erhai Lake. When I returned late that night, the housekeeper thoughtfully left the door open. The next day, they prepared a hearty breakfast tailored to my taste. Even though I was traveling alone, it gave me a strong sense of belonging. I'd definitely choose this hotel again if I had the chance. 💕

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. When booking, there was only one room available per night, so I just took what I could get, truly embracing the experience. The mid-stay room change was swift and efficient; the new room was cleaned and ready in no time. Room 201 didn't have a sea view, but its small courtyard offered a lovely, relaxing space. The soaking tub looked deep, but due to the low-set drain, the water level barely reached 15cm. This made it perfect for kids to splash around, though adults could only just manage to cover their legs. The fourth floor houses a gym, a laundry room, and a very photogenic swimming pool. There's a short-legged tabby cat at the hotel with a wonderfully sweet disposition. For breakfast, beyond the buffet spread, there were made-to-order options like rice noodles, wontons, regular noodles, and Ersi noodles, plus common items such as yogurt, milk, and coffee. All in all, I was very satisfied with my two-day stay!

This is genuinely a spacious, single-floor apartment with a prime river view. The only minor drawback is the slightly higher price during peak season. However, since the entire unit can accommodate up to 6 people, it offers excellent value for group trips. I would absolutely choose to stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Small hotel with a stunning view of the lake. A good 30-minute taxi ride from the old town. The room was very modern and stylishly furnished. The room with a skylight was great, allowing us to wake up to natural light (the curtains only closed completely – at least with the switches). There was also voice control, but our Chinese wasn't up to the task. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Thanks again! And the Chinese breakfast was also very good. We would definitely recommend the room. However, you have to know each other well, because the toilet/shower isn't really screened off. But it was great for us!

Dali Shushanju Seaview Holiday Villa (Bohai Branch) is one of the best homestays we’ve ever experienced. From start to finish, it was warm, welcoming, and absolutely delightful. The hosts are exceptionally kind and attentive, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They stayed in touch before our arrival to provide helpful information and ensured we could easily contact them. Despite our late arrival, they graciously helped us order food delivery, ensuring we had a proper meal after a long journey. The villa itself is stunning—very, very pretty, immaculately clean, and perfectly positioned facing the breathtaking Yunnan Erhai Lake. Waking up to such a serene view was a true highlight of our stay. Our room was cosy, thoughtfully prepared, and complete with a welcoming fruit basket that added a lovely personal touch. The villa also provides free access to a washing machine and dryer, which is incredibly convenient for travellers. Breakfast was exceptional, featuring a generous spread of porridge, *mi xian*, bao, salad, sunny-side-up eggs, and fresh fruits—everything was delicious and well-prepared The hosts’ attention to detail and genuine hospitality truly stood out. This villa is a gem, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Dali!

Traveling to Dali with my child, I compared numerous hotels, including Indigo and Hilton, considering factors like room size, newness, and location. Ultimately, I chose Pullman, and the experience far exceeded my expectations. The hotel is conveniently situated right at Dali Port, offering easy access to both the east and west sides of the lake. While you can take a cruise from the port, I personally found them to be poor value for money with too many sales pitches. We booked a high-floor sea-view room that included a spa treatment and airport pick-up. Our dedicated butler proactively connected with me on WeChat, arranged the pick-up, and provided a highly detailed and useful travel guide. My positive impression began right from the transfer. Despite it pouring rain that day, the driver was already waiting at the exit with several spare umbrellas for us. He also proactively helped with our luggage and shared interesting insights about the local sights during the drive. Our room offered direct, breathtaking views of Erhai Lake, which was incredibly refreshing. My playful daughter loved sitting on the windowsill, gazing at the lake for long stretches every day. The room itself was spacious and clean, featuring double sinks, and children's amenities were thoughtfully prepared in advance. Breakfast offered a good variety, and they kindly didn't charge for my daughter, even though she was slightly above the height limit. I highly recommend trying the spa; it was very professional. The push-button shower controls in the bathroom were cleverly designed, making them easy for even a child to operate. Toiletries were L'Occitane. Do try the Thai restaurant; it's clean and offers great value. There are also plenty of dining options available around the hotel. If I had to point out a minor drawback, it would be that the front desk staff seemed a bit inexperienced. During check-in, we weren't clearly informed about the room's inclusions or the dining locations. Furthermore, after checking in, no bell service was offered for luggage, nor were we given directions to the elevators. Adding more children's entertainment facilities would make the experience even more perfect.

The environment is beautiful, the house furnishings are a bit old, and overall it is OK. No halal breakfast, a little regrettable

Thank you Kevin for his help recommending places to visit and booking our trip to the high speed train station. He has always been in contact over WeChat checking up on us. Really appreciate his help. The hotel has a great restaurant within its premises. Recommended to give it a try.

I travel with my husband and 2 kids (17 y.o and 14 y.o). We really enjoy stay at this hotel. The hotel, especially the room is so clean, very comfortable and modern. The location also quite and view from our room is superb, facing Erhai Lake. Service also very good, we couldn’t catch tea time but they offer to deliver to our room once we come back to hotel. Everything is amazing about this hotel.
