Our stay in Dali was fantastic! The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around. The room was clean and comfortable, and the balcony view was absolutely stunning – you could see Erhai Lake in the distance. Sitting on the balcony and enjoying the scenery was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast was high quality with a great variety of options, leaving us very satisfied. Plus, there was a generous afternoon tea! The staff were attentive and thoughtful, responding quickly to any requests we had. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Dali!

Facilities: Standard, high-quality B&B with a garden-style design. While some areas show a bit of age, it still retains its charm. The room is fully equipped. Ambiance: The hotel's overall environment is excellent; I really love the architectural style, down to every brick and tile. Cleanliness: The bedding was very clean. We originally brought our own sheets and duvet covers, but seeing how clean theirs were, we decided not to use ours. Service: The owner, his wife, and their daughter were all very welcoming. The owner helped us with our luggage. On our first day, we booked a room with two bunk beds and felt it might be disruptive, especially with a family member who snores loudly. We discussed it with the owner's wife, and she readily agreed to switch us to two separate rooms for the second day, even though there was a slight price difference.

We had a great stay at Country Inn by Radisson in Dali and would happily stay here again. It offers excellent value for money, very friendly service, and clean, comfortable rooms in a convenient location. Location: The hotel is around a 10-minute Didi ride from Dali Ancient City, the Three Pagodas, and the Old Tea Horse Trail and 15min ride to Longkan Pier, making it easy to explore the main attractions on the West side. There are also plenty of convenient shared rental scooters available outside each morning, and taxis arrive quickly. Room & Cleanliness: Before arriving, we requested a non-smoking room. Our original room was still undergoing a smoke removal treatment, so the staff kindly upgraded us to one of their ”Pure Stay” rooms on the second floor. It was also much quieter, which was appreciated as I needed to work during our stay. The room was clean, spacious, had no smoke smell at all and even had an air purifying system. The hotel feels very new and is well maintained all lights and curtains in the room can be controlled with smart panels. The bed was soft and comfortable, with thick, good-quality duvets that made for a great night's sleep. The air conditioning was excellent and a welcome relief from the summer heat, keeping the room cool and comfortable throughout our stay. The bathroom was equally clean, with an automatic flushing toilet featuring a built-in UV sanitiser as part of the Pure Stay room. The shower had excellent water pressure, and as someone with very long, thick hair, I was pleasantly surprised about the quality of the shampoo and conditioners. Service The service was one of the highlights of our stay. The front desk staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and eager to help. A special thank you to the two gentlemen at reception who went above and beyond to communicate with us, organise the room upgrade, and even print several work documents for me free of charge. We were also welcomed with a small gift at check-in, which was a thoughtful touch. Facilities: The hotel has a lovely garden with several attractive spots for holiday photos. There is a convenient 24-hour tea and coffee station in the lobby, as well as a large power bank rental station before heading out for the day. The only small suggestion would be to also provide coffee sachets in the guest rooms for added convenience. The complimentary WiFi is an open network, which is a bit risky. It was a little slow for heavier work tasks but was perfectly adequate for normal browsing and everyday use. Breakfast: Breakfast was the only area that did not quite match the rest of our experience. There was a reasonable selection, but we found it fairly basic, particularly for international travellers, and chose to have breakfast elsewhere on our second morning. Overall: This hotel offers excellent value, outstanding cleanliness, genuinely helpful staff, and a convenient location for exploring Dali. If you are looking for a comfortable, modern hotel with friendly service, I would happily recommend staying here.

Looking for a lively yet quiet place for a family vacation with the kids? If you want a vibrant atmosphere, head to the Old Town. If you prefer peace and quiet, explore the less crowded环海 Road for pleasant surprises. This time, as always, I chose Hilton. The hotel room was clean and tidy, and they even provided a drying rack. The butler was incredibly attentive and met all our needs, even recommending great places to eat and visit. We had so much fun outside that we didn't even get to try some of the hotel's complimentary activities! 😂 The butler also checked in on our travel status frequently, ensuring a worry-free trip. I'm definitely considering staying here again next time!

The courtyard view is beautiful, and the first floor is a coffee shop where you can sit, drink coffee, and take photos. The staff will meet you at the village entrance to help with luggage. The breakfast tastes great too. There are various stalls along the street and many coffee shops in the village, so you can wander around. Xiao Tong at the front desk provides excellent service; she communicates everything in advance, from picking us up at the station to afternoon tea, and all sorts of helpful tips!

I brought my mom to Dali for a trip and stumbled upon this hotel, Yunye Hotel, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The location is super convenient, not far from the ancient city, yet the environment is incredibly peaceful, like a little paradise with lush greenery all around. My mom couldn't stop raving about the room and the service – the bedding was comfortable, and the housekeeper was very attentive. She loved the rice noodles for breakfast and the afternoon tea, and there was even a sweet soup offered at night. Overall, it exceeded our expectations! We'll definitely be back next time and I've already recommended it to my friends.

I have lived in the most comfortable homestay in Dali for 5 days! Backed by Cangshan Mountain, facing the sea, the location is super good, very close to the ancient city of Dali, Dali University, supermarket and private kitchen within 100m, there is a ”grocery store” selling everything at the door, you can also rent a battery car, quiet in the middle of noisy, open the window to feel the slow life of Dali, the room is clean and warm, The landlord is warm and caring, and I will stay here next time I come to Dali!

This is a new hotel conveniently located right by National Highway 214, very close to the South Gate of the ancient city and Cang'er Avenue. There are many famous restaurants nearby, as well as a great convenience store for snacks. The soundproofing is excellent, and ordering takeout is super easy. The coffee at the front desk is delicious, and the beds are so comfortable for a great night's sleep. It's incredibly clean and hygienic – truly the most comfortable hotel I've stayed at in Dali, and it's affordable too! Plus, there's plenty of parking and self-service laundry, which is a huge bonus.

The location is remote, halfway up a hill. You have to walk up a very secluded slope to get there. The breakfast is bad, and the grounds and lobby are old and run-down. The gym is terrible. The outdoor pool is useless given the cold weather in Dali. Most importantly, the hotel finally admitted that the 'one car, one person, one driver' service is actually a collaboration with a third-party car service (to shirk responsibility) and not hotel staff or vehicles at all. The hotel deliberately misled guests during their stay by claiming it was their car and staff. If you get into that car, you're essentially being exploited. The driver will try to control your itinerary and recommend so-called restaurants where you'll get ripped off. If you don't use their car, then good luck – it'll take you an hour to walk to the old town. This hotel is trash. They show no sincerity, only offering empty apologies. They make you feel like your ruined plans and suffering are your own fault. This hotel is dodgy. Be careful if you choose to stay here.

One of the most authentic hotels I have seen in Yunnan. A well-done contemporary hotel set in a historical frame, with attention to detail. The way you enter the hotel is typical of houses from that period – a long path brings you into the inner courtyard. Speaking of the courtyard, it is well-designed and well-maintained, and truly the jewel of the hotel. The rooms were spacious, and I loved the separation between the bedroom and the living room. The bathtub and shower were placed perfectly to allow a shower before a bath. The hotel would already be a solid 10/10 with just that. But the hidden gem of this hotel was the staff. The concierge service was at the level of a five-star hotel. They helped with many requests: they waited for us at the door when our driver picked us up from the train station, helped us find a great driver for a day trip (who was very professional), offered breakfast in the room before I even asked, and also prepared early breakfasts when we needed to leave early for a trip. I recommend this accommodation for a calm and restful stay in the effervescent city of Ancient Dali. Also, the tea in the room was delicious and all the food was divine.
