Staying here felt like stepping back in time. This beautiful 500 year old house gives you the feeling of traveling hundreds of years into the past while still being comfortable and welcoming. The architecture, atmosphere, and details make it feel like being inside a movie. The rooms are beautiful, clean, . Every corner of the house feels special and creates such a peaceful and unique experience. What made my stay even better was the kindness of the people here. I’m traveling across China by bike, and I asked if it would be possible to leave my bike here while I continue my trip and return several days later. They were incredibly helpful and kindly agreed, which I really appreciated. The location is also excellent perfect for walking around Xizhou Ancient Town and exploring the area. This place is much more than just a hotel; it’s an experience. I enjoyed it so much that I’ll be coming back in a few days to stay one more night before continuing my journey home. I highly recommend staying here if you want a beautiful, peaceful, and memorable experience.

This guesthouse is a beautiful Bai traditional architecture house. I love the open courtyard with the many pots of plants and flowers. It is very peaceful and quiet sitting down to rest in this courtyard. The pillars and doors are all made of beautiful wood and the carvings on the doors and walls are masterpieces! The old lady boss tells me the house is 100 years old - what a long history but it looks new and good, must have been renovated not long ago. The room is similarly decorated with a beautifully carved door, and is clean and comfortable with a good hot shower. The lady boss gave me some dried apple fruit that she preserved - they were very delicious! This is one of the best places I have stayed at in Yunnan, highly recommended

The pastoral views are fantastic, putting you in a good mood as soon as you step inside. There's a specially designed rooftop at the top of the stairs, perfect for photos. The staff, from the young guys and older gentlemen at the front desk to the aunties in the cafeteria, are all incredibly warm, patient, and proactive in helping with luggage. Right outside the hotel, locals rent electric scooters, making it super convenient to get to the ancient town and Haishi. Plus, it's just a 5-minute walk to the 'Big Tree with Wind'! And to top it off, the hotel even offers late-night snacks! Hot milk and rice noodles – so comforting.

The public area is simple but full of atmosphere: sip coffee accompanied by the aroma of rice, and use a frame to paint the rice fields. Sit down and look up, and you will see old-fashioned cameras, films, nutritious books... The monstera in the yard lowers the temperature by several degrees. The room is clean and tidy, simple and comfortable, and the small details reflect the owner's care and feelings. It's a good thing that you can run directly to the rice fields from the balcony on the first floor to avoid the crowds!

Beautiful rustic place with a large courtyard and run by a lovely family. At the edge within ancient city so cars wil drop you off at their side car park entrance. You don't have to drag your bags on cobblestones like some hotels inside on the pedestrian streets. Beautiful vjew of fields and mountains as you stroll out into town. At night you can hear the nature sounds in the quiet. Highly recommended.

Years ago, when I first visited Dali, I heard the story of Mr. Linden and this old mansion and always dreamed of staying here to experience it firsthand. This time, I finally fulfilled that wish, and I was even lucky enough to meet Mr. Linden in the courtyard! When he learned we were from Nanjing, he happily told us he had studied at the中美文化交流中心 (Sino-American Culture Exchange Center) at Nanjing University in '87 and '88, and had many fond memories of Nanjing. This instantly made us marvel at the wonders of fate – Mr. Linden's timeless encounter with this old mansion, and our own timeless encounter with Mr. Linden and this mansion. So, this isn't just a house or a hotel; it's a spiritual home, a place of shared understanding for Mr. Linden and his guests, our collective beautiful home! The 'Old Mansion Exploration' and 'Market Stroll' activities were excellent, and our guide was wonderful! I regret missing out on the afternoon tea, but the restaurant's dishes were delicious, and the breakfast's Ersi noodles and beef with rice were also fantastic!

This was my second stay at this guesthouse during my trip to Dali, and it completely exceeded my expectations – a five-star recommendation! The guesthouse is elegant and clean, with a stylish design. The common areas are comfortable and photogenic, making it a very relaxing place to stay. The rooms are bright, the bedding is soft, and the soundproofing is good, ensuring a peaceful stay. The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming. They promptly helped resolve any issues and patiently recommended local activities and restaurants, treating me like a friend. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Overall, a perfect experience! The cleanliness, service, and atmosphere were impeccable. Staying here in Dali is definitely a safe bet. I've already recommended it to friends and will stay here again next time!

Qingfeng Muyu Homestay was the most comfortable homestay I stayed in during my trip to Dali. Firstly, the cleanliness was exceptionally meticulous; even the stairs and handrails were sparkling clean. Secondly, the decor was lovely, the bedding was high quality, and the atmosphere was very warm and inviting. Finally, the homestay also houses a restaurant, and the owner's cooking was delicious, clean, and hygienic. I also want to thank the owners for their kindness and hospitality. When my child and I arrived at the homestay in the evening, my child vomited, possibly due to the change in water and food, and the owner immediately took us to the hospital. This was the only hotel I stayed in that truly felt like home. Overall, I highly recommend it.

This place was perfect. Both the laoban/owner and the staff were so nice and gave plenty of recommendations. The house itself is beautiful and well maintained. Its location cannot be beat—you’re right next to everything without the noise or the tourists. The breakfasts were hearty and filling, and the bikes they have for free use were awesome. Highly recommend biking out to Erhai and even around the farm lands. I would definitely return to Xizhou and would choose to stay here again and again.
