The Sunshine provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Sunshine is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Ho Chi Minh City. With Saigon Train Station just 6km away and Tan Son Nhat International Airport only 8km away, transportation is very convenient. With multiple attractions nearby including General Consulate of China in HCMC, Asiana Plaza (Bình Thạnh) and Hoa Lu Sport Center, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. Guests of this Ho Chi Minh City hotel can make use of the parking facilities.
Really satisfied with the stay. Home hotel is furnished with sophisticated design and pleasant experience to do for staycations. One of the best options i would say, pink decorations make so fancy and modern design. They also got the bar at M level, well-thought for customers to feel relax when you visit their bar. We will be back again if we visit to HCMC.

We booked a room at Tropical House and were very disappointed when we arrived. The room was very different in condition from the one we looked at in the photographs at the time of booking. The furniture in the room was old, broken, the bed linen was stale, the towels had holes. We immediately went to the reception to cancel our reservation, but they refused to do so. They gave us the phone number of the hotel owner and told us to resolve the issue with her. But she also refused to give us a refund and asked us to stay in the room, and the next day she promised to put us in a better room. The next day the room was indeed a little better, but there was still an unpleasant aftertaste from the way the guests were treated. In addition, the room was not cheap - we paid about 20 dollars per night.
We hope that in the future Tropical House will not provide guests with rooms with broken furniture or towels with holes.
I would like to note that trip.com was very sympathetic to us and compensated us for part of the unpleasant experience with coins, for which we are very grateful to them!

We used it as a base for transit sightseeing.
As the name suggests, it's relatively close to the airport, but it's not far enough to walk with large luggage and the pedestrian path to the airport isn't well-developed, so I think I'll have to take a taxi. think. It seems like you can arrange a taxi at the front desk, but when I used it, it was cheaper to use the ride-hailing app Grab.
The room was larger and cleaner than I expected, and I was able to watch Japanese broadcasts on the TV. The toilets and bathrooms are made of frosted glass so that their silhouettes can be seen from the living space, so you may need to consider privacy when using the room with a group of the same sex.
There are many convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so I don't think you will have any trouble finding food.

The City View Hotel Saigon is a decent option for travelers who prioritize location over luxury. The hotel's central location earned it a perfect score for location, with easy access to nearby attractions and public transportation. However, the service and amenities were lacking, with a 3/5 rating for both categories. While the staff were friendly enough, they were not particularly attentive or helpful beyond the basics. The cleaning was also average, with some minor areas for improvement. The amenities were limited, with no standout features or extras to enhance the guest experience. Overall, the City View Hotel Saigon is a good option for budget-conscious travelers who want a convenient location, but don't expect top-notch service or amenities.

To be honest, this hotel is pretty good, the facilities are good, the soundproofing is also very good, the room is a bit small, and the socket is not good, the German standard conversion plug cannot be inserted. . . There are also few sockets, so you must turn off the refrigerator if you want to use the computer. Very troublesome. But overall it is still very good, the front desk is also very polite, although not Chinese, but English is okay😁
The room is very nice and clean, very classy, and chill. Reasonable price, convenient location near the markets and entertainment areas of District 1, cheap price, free use of services such as laundry, detergent, fabric softener, branded, not the cheap ones that most other hotels often use for cheap. The shampoo and shower gel are good branded ones.
The service was great: the porters were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast crew served with a smile. The location was prime, in the middle of all the action. Hotel was clean and the room service and daily cleaning was excellent. Only thing is the shower and tap lacked pressure and toilet was difficult to flush. There is a nice cat cafe nearby

KKARIMThe apartment itself was okay, and communication with the host was very quick and convenient. There was a small issue with the door lock breaking, but it was fixed the next day. Although it’s a 3-bedroom unit, it felt quite small. Also, there were no tissues, small towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, or kitchen cloths provided. Make sure to bring a showerhead filter—it discolored after just one day of use.
As for the downsides, the noise level was overwhelming, though I can't entirely blame the host for this. The location is right in front of the Landmark 81 plaza, and it was insanely noisy all weekend. There were constant drumbeats, people cheering, car and motorcycle horns, and karaoke music going on through the night. I’ve never experienced such noise in my life—I couldn’t sleep at all. Maybe I just picked a bad time to visit, but it was really exhausting. 😭

MmegOverall a good value for money hotel. Lovely amenities and the breakfast and afternoon tea being included in the room rate is a nice touch. The walls between each room are very thin, so you could hear everything going on in the next room.

GGuest UserFor the price we paid, the room standard was below expectation. 1706 had a weird smell upon check in. House Keeping staff put a lighted pineapple which rid the odour for only a day. We stayed for 3 nights. Room was dusty and bin wasn’t cleared. Carpet and bathroom was too dark with black decor. The swimming pool comes with steam room and sauna. We liked the lemongrass scent in the sauna.
GGuest UserLonger review to explain our experience. It is not 4 stars. Maybe 20/30 years ago it was but not now.
We paid about $200 for one night, for a river view club room with afternoon and nightly candles cocktails and club room access, 3pm late checkout and 15% off airport transport.
When we arrived they would not tell us how much airport transport would be for leaving the next day. Just that it was expensive and we should get a cab instead. That was a little disappointing, we should have pushed for the price but we were tired from our flight and hungry.
The room we were put in was grubby and had a bad smell and NO river view. We called reception to mention we had booked the river view. They moved us down and across the hall. The new room had a nice view, had clearly being prepared for guests with brochures and pamphlets. No smell and had been recently cleaned. It felt like they were just trying to see if they could get away with giving us the bad room instead of the one we had booked. I've added pictures of the view from both rooms.
After moving we went to afternoon tea which was really nice. Although our room move meant we had to wait because no one had shared the records of our room switch which was kind of awkward. Once we got to it the food was nice and filling (see food pictures) The bathrooms in that lounge were out of hand soap.
We went back to the room. Had a shower but the shower/bath drains onto the floor so a large unsafe pool of water Is right under your feet as you step out of the tub.
Went out for the canapès. That was disappointing. We got there at 6:20pm. Everything had gone cold except the fried rice. There were no cocktails, just bottles of whisky and rum and you could take a can of coke, sprite, or tonic water to mix yourself. Luckily we were still full from the afternoon tea.
We went out nearby and came back to find the street party next to the hotel was still raging and although the people mostly went home, the music players kept going until about 1am. That was awful and I'd recommend not staying on the river side if you're staying Friday to Sundays and want to get up early.
Next morning we went to breakfast, it was a very small selection. We got a bread roll that was hard as a rock. Nothing was very fresh. It was disappointing. Also can only get black coffee or machine coffee.
We went out for the day and came back to pack at 2:30 for our flight and the safe had stopped working. Could not even type in the PIN. This was nervwracking as it was our last day and passports were in there. It took 4 calls to reception and 1 hour for them to send someone to fix it. Batteries had run out. These things happen but maybe there should be a schedule for changing these things or at least a swift response when someone is trying to check out and cannot open it. When the safe technician did show up he was great and very personable.
Once I got our passports we checked out and they stored our bags safely in the luggage room for us until we got our cab.
On the other amenities; the gym seemed good snd had indoor and outdoor terrace with more weights. The doormen in lobby are cheerful. The pool was very basic, I think it looks better in the pictures. The lobby bar is expensive. The lobby is pretty but smells like it was mopped with dirty water sometimes which is unpleasant.
Overall it was a bit of a letdown. I'd give it 3 stars, it would be 2 if we had stayed in our first room. We would return to the area but try a different hotel.
