Search Your Troy Hotels

We stayed here as we went to a concert in Troy. I am very picky about hotels, cleanliness, noise, etc and was pleasantly surprised at this hotel. It was very very clean and although the hotel was fairly full, we never heard a sound from other rooms or the hallway. Late checkout was no problem and every staff member we encountered from the front desk to housekeeping went out of their way to welcome us and make us feel appreciated, including hand written notes in the room from our housekeeper. My kids used the pool. They said it was cold but that didn't stop them from enjoying. We didn't utilize the breakfast option so can't comment on that. We don't plan to travel to Troy in the future but if we did, we would definitely stay here again.

We booked a wedding block with them 7 months prior to my wedding. Throughout the process I received multiple phone calls from my guests that the hotel could not find my wedding block. I had to call the hotel 4 separate times to be told they couldn’t find it, then found it, and could not find anyone who is reserved for our block. After numerous phone calls to settle the confusion, the weekend of my wedding had the same issue. All the guests were charged $50 more than the contracted group rate, and my guests were located on different floors within the hotel. Prior to my wedding, speaking with the manager, the prices did get adjusted for some people, and they weren’t sure what happened with our block that there was so much confusion. After my wedding, my bride and I came back to the hotel to find out our door key did not work. When asking the gentleman at the front desk about it, he verified my wife’s name, and made a new key for the room that we booked on Friday, when we placed the key in the door, there was another person already our room. My bride was left in the lobby with no room, and her items missing, with no one knowing where these items went. We ended up having to get a separate room for the night. The next day, the manager when voicing my complaints told me the room was only booked for one night. This was after the gentleman had verified our room reservation for the night, and attempted to make a new key the night before. She told my wife that they did nothing wrong and they would not be doing any compensation for all of the trouble. When calling the cooperate company, I was placed on hold for extended times when they could not find my block when given the confirmation number THAT THE MANAGER OF THE HOTEL WROTE. So far we have had no compensation for all of these issues, was told the missing items is a civil dispute by the police the manager called, and the supervisor for guest services has not called me back as they were too busy to take my call. It’s not a place I will be recommending after being treated so poorly.

I was in trouble because there was no shuttle bus between the hotel and the Dayton Airport. There weren't many taxis, so I had no choice but to use the Uber service. I didn't have any problems with Uber, but I was worried because I wasn't used to Uber overseas. Regarding the shuttle bus, I regret that I should have checked in advance. The hotel was quiet and clean. Also, the breakfast was buffet style and I had a good time. The free coffee and tea service in the lobby was available 24 hours a day and was very convenient.

Mary was a doll. Room was very clean, bed comfortable well appointed and clean. Would stay again! Parking was plentiful we felt very secure and safe. The staff was very kind and pleasant. Rooms were quiet. This is supposed to be 200 characters so I will just say sleep here feel rested and appreciated.
