We are repeat customers of the Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort. And we will continue to be repeat customers. We not only stay there but we rent their conference room for workshops. It is the total package. Great location -walking distance to great restaurants. Free Coffee and tea at 6:00 AM Friendly knowledgeable front desk service. And to top it off, Corey Isherwood who was our liaison person for workshops continued to make sure everything was on time and ready to go. Corey goes above and beyond to be sure all the details are taken care of. This is a huge relief if you are doing workshops. Like a fine watch that does everything you ask, we don't want anything to change. Too bad we can't give it more stars. Lori and Ellyn
The location of the hotel is very good, it is definitely a summer resort in summer. There is no hotel private beach at all. Don't even think about it except to see a small bay or beach. The price is not cheap, nearly 500 dollars a night, the hotel only provides a few pool bubbles. There is a golf course, and the hotel staff is absolutely top-notch service, which is commendable.
The location is half an hour's drive from SD. If you are a nearby resident, it would be more suitable for a vacation. The hotel facilities are relatively new, but there are few surrounding supporting facilities. It is suitable for lounging in the hotel. The beach and other entertainment facilities are also average. This is the only hotel in the United States that can It's alila if you're bringing children. It's not recommended to bring children. There's not much to do.

My husband and I have been owners at Aviara for 22 years and our family always looks forward to spending time at this facility. This year there was a clear decline in service. During our week stay, we had to call housekeeping every single day to request more of the standard items- towels, shampoo, kitchen or washing soaps. Things like Kleenex or paper towels were never replaced when they ran out. Though all the staff was pleasant, there was absolutely no follow through with actions. I had mentioned three times- pre-check-in, at check-in and at checkout that it was my daughter’s birthday and she had had a very hard year. I requested balloons or such to celebrate, but nothing was done until we were literally departing and then only because I mentioned it to the manager. I know this is not standard procedure for a Four Seasons. Many activities were not operating yet and that was a disappointment. There was no kids club, and except for one Saturday activity there was nothing scheduled for children. When our children were young, there was so much activity available and that is not the case. This was not a typical Four Seasons experience and we were all disappointed that it didn’t live up to our pre-Covid experiences.
This review is LONG overdue! Paola and team are AH-mazing! We had 18 families stay here for a soccer tournament and the service we received was top notch. From the last minute room changes and meeting room requests, their staff made it happen without complaint. Our team has stayed here 3 times and we have always had a great experience. We will definitely be back. Don't get me started on the location. Talk about prime real estate. I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel and the people that work here. 10/10 experience. If you are looking for a great place to stay for your group, look no further!
The Omni la Costa Resort & Spa Carlsbad is a great choice for guests looking for accommodation in Carlsbad, having been recently renovated in 2023. With McClellan-Palomar Airport just 6km away and Calsbad Railway Station only 8km away, transportation is very convenient. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including La Costa Resort Fountain, Chabad at La Costa and Equinox La Costa. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Carlsbad hotel provides parking on site.
The rooms are very large and clean. The pool is divided into adults and children. The children must go to the children's pool every day. There is a great beer house restaurant at the entrance of the hotel. You can solve the problem by visiting Legoland. Outlet is less than 5 minutes drive from the hotel, recommend the Grand Pacific Hotel to Legoland, walk no more than 10 minutes
Opposite the outlet, shopping and eating are very convenient. The hotel check-in time is at 4 pm. I can't check in early. The beach recommended by the waiter is really good. The sand is fine and clean. The hotel is quiet and there is a swimming pool, nice!
Hotel specification management is more formal! The room is large and soundproof! Room customer service is excellent! The location is close to the high speed and convenient for travel! Just an extra resort service fee is a common practice in American hotels! Add this pen to the budget to calculate the total price! Overall satisfaction!

TTravlprincessBooked this property based on experience at other Home2's, but IMO, it fell short of the standards for the brand. The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful, coffee and tea kept stocked, and location great for those going to Legoland. However, the king suite with curtain didn't offer the privacy for one person to sleep and the other to read or do anything besides sit in the dark, as the curtain is translucent and doesn't filter light (see photos). To make it worse, lamplight reflects off the TV screen, doubling the effect. Room doors will either slam loudly or, if one tries to not slam it, will not quite close completely to lock without an extra tug, a safety issue. Biggest disappointment was with the breakfast area, which appears to have staffing and resource management issues (see photos). The hot dishes are not labeled. I thought the pan of white mystery clumps contained fresh cheese curds at first, an unusual offering, but whatever... Then I took a bite...disgusting...imagine what unseasoned boiled earlobes might taste like. I had to ask what it was when I could finally locate someone working in the kitchen. It was supposedly scrambled egg whites, which made a daily appearance the week I was there, along with pork sausages (had to ask about that, too, since I don't eat pork). Gluten-free options are limited to proteins and fruit, with Cheerios in a large dispenser, subject to cross-contamination. Fresh fruit was not wrapped. I saw one guest handle each and every apple before he selected one. Ewww. Each day, there was a shortage of plates (see photo with no plates under or on counter). I was delighted to finally be able to eat on my last day there, when the pre-packaged hot bites included a delicious gluten-free frittata instead of the Jimmy Dean pork breakfast sandwiches which had been the only choice for days before. Will probably stay somewhere else next time.
DDonDeppWe booked a 2 night stay but ended up staying for only 1 night. I requested a room change due to noisy neighbors playing loud music and smoking *********. Our hallway to our room and next door to us reeked of *********. The lady at the front desk denied my room change but instead offered a free breakfast and to remove the parking fee which I quickly turned down. I also asked for a refund for 1 night and was denied. Rather then dealing with riff raff all night we took our losses and left. This hotel needs to enforce a quiet time or have security present. We intended to have a nice peaceful quiet stay here but instead had an unpleasant experience. We will never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anybody.
TTONGIf you want to go to Lego, the hotel location is very good, you can go directly to Lego's back door, and the hotel has a special LEGO front desk, she gave me two tickets, meaning that adults buy an adult ticket, children are free, we are just It is a family of four, it took more than 260 knives, bought two adult tickets, including the aquarium! The poolside environment is very good, the night pool is warm water, children are very happy!
GGongninglianThe environment is good, next to the sea. The swimming pool is nice. I booked it for my friend. It is close to the places to play. The service of a big brand is guaranteed. I will experience it myself next time if I have the chance.
RRUIThe front desk service was huge. We arrived at the hotel at around 12 o'clock in the evening. We had a long-distance drive all day. We thought that the sheraton service could not be bad. I knew that the front desk was a fat white man. When I checked in, I kept rolling my eyes all the time. When I applied for membership, I was too sleepy and didn't respond. I asked a question. The front desk immediately replied, ”I am very busy today, don't ask me to see it yourself.” At that time, I thought it might be too late. The front desk had emotions, and it was true that in April, it was obvious that the trash was a hostile phenomenon. After the completion of the process, I did not tell me how to find the room, just an understatement, ”Go through the door.” As a result, there was only 3 floors in the back of the lobby, and our room number was 50. I asked him back. He confirmed that he was on the 5th floor. He immediately left the lobby and told him not to look back. In desperation, I had to bite the scalp on the third floor. Fortunately, I met a couple of black couples who went downstairs to buy wine in the middle of the night. They were very friendly and said that they also found a room for a long time during the day. The actual situation is that the sheraton hotel and the next resort share the lobby and porch. You need to go upstairs through the hotel room corridor, find a glass door at the end, swipe the card and then take the elevator to the resort floor. On the night of the check-in, I sent a complaint letter to the Shereton complaint mailbox. It has been two months since I saw it. Today I saw the app reminder comment. The disgusting feeling of Lima is coming to the fore, and I have to give a bad review.
FFEIFEIHow should I evaluate it? The front desk service is still very good, because my family had a wounded man with a broken leg and crutches. I specially arranged the first floor and showed me first. But when I entered the hall, the cleaner was mopping the floor and the floor was slippery. My patient fell again and was injured twice. The most important thing is that, for some reason, Ctrip sent a text message saying that we did not check in and deducted another time. I wonder if it's a Ctrip problem or a hotel problem? In short, the communication is not smooth. This is the second time that the check-in information cannot be checked for repeated deductions during this trip to the US Causes us a lot of trouble. I hope Ctrip will pay attention to it instead of blocking my comments
LLubarskyOur stay was nice and relaxing, which was the reason for getting away. The room was pleasant and very clean. And the bed was comfortable. I slept like a baby. There weren't many amenities, but they did have the most important one, as far as I'm concerned, the beautiful swimming pool. I was very inviting. And the customer service was great. Very friendly, professional staff. I would definitely recommend Motel 6, to my friends and family.
GGuest UserWe had booked 2 rooms at this hotel for a Carlsbad weekend. It was simply the worst hotel we had ever seen. The hotel looks very nice from the outside. It was not what we expected at all. In order to utilize the kitchen facilities and a coffee maker, you had to check them out at the front desk. There really was no breakfast facility as advertised. They said they put some packaged goods on the table by the front door. When we got to the room, it smelled and did not feel clean. We didn't feel that the sheets were clean and looked for bed bugs quite honestly. My girl friend said she would sleep with her clothes on because it felt so dirty. My son and his wife moved three times trying to find a decent room. We tried to move as well. They offered us the first room he was assigned and turned down. When we went to the second room they offered, there were rings from drinks on the kitchen counter and what appeared to be a significant amount of ashes in the bathroom sink. At that point, we went back to registration and they offered to cancel our reservation. The front desk was very accommodating, so we were very happy with their response. They were the best part of our experience. We left and I couldn't get the smell out of my nose for almost an hour. It was a combination of cooking smells and cleaning fluids. The word that we all kept saying was that it needed to be a demo and total rehab. It was probably the worst hotel experience any of us have ever had.
GGuest UserI think this place recently changed hands. The evening staff that greeted me when I arrived was eating her dinner - noodles- at the check in desk. Nevermind Covid still being a ' thing' , she continued to eat while checking me in. She was extremely rude and acted like checking me in was more of an annoyance than anything else. She didn't tell me what room I had, what the WiFi password was, amenities etc. The inhospitality of the staff remained the norm throughout my entire stay. That is with the exception of one housekeeping person and a new staff member named Christopher. The door magnet didn't work The coffee was like Folgers and terrible There weren't any drinking glasses in the room and only one coffee cup The bed was so soft I had to put a pillow under my back I could go on Trust me there's a lot more But suffice it to say All in all A motel 6 would have been more comfortable This was not a great experience. However ALL could have been overlooked if the staff was friendly. They should hire Christopher to manage it He knows hospitality. Oh and I should add That at checkout time The owner it manager who wears a shiny tan suit Makes sure there's a police car outside ready to get rid of any guests who don't check out in time. That's right - he's a pushy mafioso type person. Very rude and in your face. Too to the hotel Get the shiny suit guy off the property. He's bad for biz. Carlsbad is a high end destination place and he is more appropriate for Folsom.
