Best Boston Hotels

The hotel was clean and self service- just wish there were more options for room service/ vending machines, we ran out of water and had to run to Trader Joe’s across the street to buy bottles of water.

Hotel was clean. Staff was wonderful all around. No room service but you can order and pick up. Only had appetizers and they were ok. Pricey from Tamo. Breakfast at Alure was excellent. Had coffee and breakfast sandwich at Cafe kiosk. Was surprisingly good. Used Uber/Lyft when needed. Felt safe walking but only did so during daylight. Would book again. Pricey but worth it.

Like all hotels, the experience depends in part on the room, your neighbors and your needs. We did hear some loud children through wall from room behind our bed, but once I made some noise or said something loud, they got the point and that ceased. Despite that one or two nights of brief disturbance, we loved the hotel, including its central location, staff who helped us whenever we asked, updated bathrooms, efficient room layout, and small number of rooms per floor keeps the noise down since long halls cause people to talk, holler or even run loudly when you're sleeping. So this room offers a great experience. We'd love to come back.

Brand hotel service is more attentive, the rooms are very clean and tidy, the surrounding environment is relatively quiet, the transportation is very convenient, and the hotel rooms are well equipped.

The Fairmont is a wonderful hotel with an attentive staff conveniently located in the Bay Bay. We stayed in a suite, which was very spacious and clean. There is a delicious restaurant and bar attached to it as well. We used this hotel for our wedding room block and all of our guests were extremely pleased.

This is the most comfortable hotel in several cities I visited during my trip, including New York, Philadelphia, Washington, Niagara, and Boston. Whether it is the front desk or the luggage room, the staff are dedicated and humorous. The ice water and lemonade in the lobby are available at any time, so you don't have to worry about running out of drinking water when traveling in summer. Very good!!!

Feb 17-18 celebrating our grandson's 10th birthday and I can't say enough about what a great hotel experience we had. The Front desk staff were so nice and quick and handed my grandson a gift right away, without us asking for anything. The elevators were quick, the room was spacious, and the beds were comfy. The concierge ASHLEY was the best! She gave us good advice about how best to get around, and seemed genuinely excited about the birthday of our grandson, so much so that when we returned to our room later in the evening, there was a wonderful gift basket waiting for him, with snacks and a personally signed 3-D card from Ashley. That was above and beyond. Thanks Marriot!

Really not that great for the price, it’s a very old building in the city centre, so it’s a little small and feels old too. Location is amazing, service is decent and overall clean. Resort fee is quite expensive and it includes a small daily non stackable voucher for use at restaurant which is not very useful.

The hotel room's thermostat was set at 68 degrees F when we entered but we found it to be quite warm, so we turned the thermostat down to 65 degrees, then further to 62 degrees because the room was still quite stifling. Around 2:00 a.m., uncomfortable and sweating while trying to sleep, we called the front desk and told them that we had lowered the thermostat to 60 degrees F but that the heat was just as warm as when we first entered the room (there was no way to measure it but I'm guessing it was close to 80 degrees). The front desk told us that the thermostat only controls the heat; that is, lowering the temperature will not actually cool the room or turn the heat off. They told us that the only way to stop the heat was to turn it OFF. We were also advised to open a window, which we did; but the noise from the city outside did not help us get a good night's sleep at all, and the room took a while to cool down enough to be able to sleep comfortably. This one issue---the extremely warm and uncomfortable room---is enough to make us not return to this hotel in the future.
