Before booking for my group of 11 members of the family, I already read reviews and saw pictures of the hotel. In my mind I somehow already knew what to expect. But the experience I had and perhaps by all of those who were with me during this trip exceeded expectations. Rooms were all very spacious, clean and well-appointed. I looked forward to breakfasts at the restaurant because one was not limited to asian, vegetarian, continental or american. One can have as little or as much of everything and anything on the menu. This would be a wonderful option for long and leisurely breakfast mornings. They say a good indication of customer satisfaction is the repeat order or purchase and how the product or service is recommended to others. Definitely, when I am back in Phnom Penh, White Mansion will be the preferred place of stay and it should be yours too.

It is a room for the boss to book a business trip. I received a call from the boss late at night and said that the front desk of the hotel could not find their reservation order. They said that they only knew the agent reservation. They did not have Ctrip's contact information. Fortunately, Ctrip finally solved it in time.

Staying at this hotel is not advisable because you will be scammed at checkout. The entire staff lacks professionalism and unfairly charges their guests. They will charge damages to your folio for using pillows and towels in an effort to fraudulently raise your bill. The entire hotel is untidy with smudged elevator mirrors, dusty rooms with no windows (felt like a prison), and dirty phones with heavily soiled furniture. The refrigerator in the room was causing a foul smell to permeate the air. Furthermore, the filthy fitness facility can only be unlocked by a front desk attendant. Upon checkout, they tried to charge us an additional $16 dollars (the rate has now increased to $22 on the Agoda booking app) for staining a pillow and hand towels with hair gel, which is water soluble. Additionally, it is not a biohazardous material. We requested permission to reenter the room so that we can document the alleged damage with photos. They refused. Then, we requested that they bring down alleged stained linen to the lobby, and they refused. The image below is from the desk operator's cell and most likely isn't an image from our room.

A very peaceful and relaxing start to our holiday in Cambodia. The room was ready before 2pm with an upgrade to the room. The room was beautiful with a lovely balcony overseeing the pool (the 1st one as there is another pool hidden in the hotel). The staff were very welcoming, helpful and lovely. The breakfast was tasty with varied food. We tested on the first night the fish amok which was delicious. The location was perfect: 10mn walk to the royal palace and 10mn walk to the independence monument I highly recommend this hotel in Phnom Penh!

The room and pool are quite clean for such an old property. However we enjoyed the pool, view from there and a good air inside the room, the shower was working. Colonial style, old buid house with minimum updates. There is a small gym by the pool, no people anywhere. There are showers and toilets by the pool. All very clean. There is no restaurant, no breakfast, no food in the fridge. No walking possibility outside - just chaotic traffic and bad surroundings. You need to order a taxi to get some food and drink. The entrance to the hotel is dirty and the fence is not opening. No cars can bring you right to the entrance. There is no real reception and assistance. Just like if you rent an apartment. Old, shabby, dark, dusty, smelly. The light and some facilities were broken. I felt myself like living in a very cheap option. Probably they wrote positive reviews themselves.

I'm writing this from my room..I've stayed here before and loved it,,but I will be out of here tomorrow . I've only been here 4 hours and I am sitting in a sauna, the front desk has said the guy works tomorrow ..who does maintenance .. The lobby is freezing,,this room is on fire,,my friends room is even more hot than mine.. As I've said before about the good and the bad but they will not Change our rooms,,and the bell hop said all rooms have the same problem about aircon..I will see tomorrow the hotel manager and if the air cons the same in the next room we are leaving..problem is I've booked with agoda so no chance of them helping..dealt with them before so could be moving to a new hotel and taking the loss on the chin..sorry but in this weather aircon means everything here...one thing..the person before me commented on this place being a *******....I have never seen anything like that here and I've stayed a few times..there is a massage parlour connected to the hotel but that in itself does not make the hotel a *******..

Place there initially for 2 nights then was told we had to stay 2 weeks due to a positive case on the flight, not even sure if that was the case the hotel receptionist just smiled when he announced it. The room is dirty, when asked for the cleaning the cleaner asked for money! It was still dirty by my standards after she cleaned. The bath mat was old grey, torn and sheets were yellow with age, that I can cope with but black dirty on the surface areas is not acceptable. In the end I had to clean the room myself. You have to request for clean towels and toilet paper. We were supposed to have 3 meals per day they forgot breakfast the first 2 days. Then food came at strange time earlier each time in the end: Breakfast @ 06:30, Lunch @ 11:00, Dinner @ 16:30. It was poor quality food and just warm, lunch was probably delivered same time as lunch as it was almost cold. The food rubbish is left outside each door and by the elevators with cats wondering around at night scattering rubbish around. This is the worst experience ever. DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL!

The hotel has a good location , just in front of the central market and the Royal palace is also near. It is located on the main road and easy to access.
They cleaned the room every day and the staff was nice. Though they couldn’t help to buy tickets to the different places of the country.
Anyway I enjoyed the stay.

Opposite AEON 1 for nice shopping and eating. There are 3 AEON malls in Phnom Penh now. Tuktuk booked via an app costs 6,000 Riels to Night Market. The Reception lady is so sweet. She booked me a tuktuk and I paid by cash directly to the driver. Thank you very much. From my memory Reception staff doesn’t work from 3am to 8am. Room is large and things are made from high quality materials. I love the pool on 41th floor. Breathtaking river views and city views up there. The restaurant is on the same floor so we walked pass it to use the pool. No other guests were there when both of us swam. Pool opens from 7am. Small changing room and toilet are near the pool. Fitness Room is on 7th floor. High quality and great services. No one was there when we worked out. After the guest finishes using the walking machine and sweats, a male staff comes to wipe the machine. Very good! Towels are readily available for guests to use both in the Fitness Room and Pool. The checked in and out were smooth. They returned the 50 USD deposit in both USD and Riel. In other cities, a room like this often costs 70 USD. Here the price is very good. The building is Celeste Building opposite Sofitel and AEON and we walked through it to the next building to see SF Hotel table in the corner. Excellent value for money. Btw it was Caesar Hotel before so room amenities and towels have that brand. Room is a bit wear and tear but clean and comfortable. Air con takes a long time to cool the room as they has a cover in front of it to avoid direct air flow to the bed. Carpeted walk way from elevator to the rooms. We enjoyed our stay very much and wish to come back to swim again.

GGuest UserIt’s never easy to choose a place to stay, but HOTEL KVL never turn me down. I’ve been staying there a few times with different room type. I love all the facilities and designation. Room is clean & good smell. Relaxing and peace. Staffs are very friendly, especially, the beautiful FOM “Nhean Sateka”. She is very helpful and friendly. Moreover, the foods and beverages at HOTEL KVL are delicious and acceptable price. You may enjoy eating & having coffee/tea with riverside sunrise/sunset/night view from your room or at Up by KVL (rooftop sky bar). They have coffee shop, the Alchemist, Skylight restaurant, Eltapas. You also enjoy the benefit gym at Vertical Gym. That’s all from my sharing, I bet you should try at least once at HOTEL KVL, you will be back again.

KKevinLiauI had a great stay at Nagaworld 2. The room was clean, spacious, and well-furnished with modern amenities like fast Wi-Fi and a comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the check-in process was smooth. I especially enjoyed the luxurious rainfall shower and the tasteful room decor. The hotel’s location is perfect, with easy access to entertainment and dining options. Overall, a fantastic experience—highly recommend for both business and leisure stays.

BbrianmQ8209UUWe arrived and were welcomed from the start. The check in went smoothly. The rooms were great, clean and just right. Lovely pool thrown in which was just right post full day of touring. The hotel is great location and we walked to restaurant and local bars. Helpful staff from the start to finish. Thank you.

ZzoslynneA nice boutique hotel, clean and friendly staff. Breakfast not a wide spread but definitely sufficient. They also served hot porridge per order. We asked for half boil egg, they gladly do for us. All staff from the front desk to the breakfast, helpful and friendly. Facilities only a pool but that is not what we go for so is fine. We ae happy with this hotel.

NNadine NStayed for the third time at this hotel in the space of 7 months! Love it so much, I keep coming back 😊 . As usual, friendly, amazing, efficient service from all staff starting at check-in and felt by all other staff members, especially cleaning, security and restaurant staff at Cloud 9.
Reception staff are always smiling, friendly and happy to help. Cleaning is done well and daily. Room service and Cloud 9 staff are friendly and quick. Staff mostly speak English so not a difficulty at all communicating. Check in and out is so quick and easy!
As always the pool is clean, quiet and well maintained. Room service and food at the hotel is top quality. Certainly, the spa is worth every cent and not that much more expensive than venturing out. Of course, you could get cheaper but the quality and environment at the hotel spa is truly serene, tranquil and top notch luxury!
Convenient shopping and food a plenty around the hotel and close to the riverside. Though it’s located close to the red 🚦 light district, security is exceptional and the area itself is not dangerous (keep your wits about you and valuables close regardless).
The only small drawback is the room lighting, although there are many lights, the yellow lighting can be quite dim especially around the sink area (ladies be warned, not so easy to apply makeup lol 😂) but this is a small thing. Overall, this remains my hotel of choice whenever in Phnom Penh!
Thank you for yet another wonderful stay at your amazing hotel!

MMAKOTO 8155It is located in Chinatown in the south of the city. It is a convenient location for sightseeing, so I highly recommend it.
The rooms are clean, the views are great, and the price is reasonable, making this a great value hotel.
Perhaps because of this, the reception is always crowded. The reception is small compared to the number of rooms, so it takes time to check in and out. I wish the staff would try harder, but I also wish they would hire a few more staff.

RRobert PaulA lovely traditional Cambodian style hotel. The young staff are friendly and enthusiastic. There’s lots of wooden features and a wildly over cluttered lobby. The laneway leading to the hotel can be a little dodgy and littered with rubbish. Breakfast was served on the rooftop and quite good with plenty of choices. The rooftop pool and restaurant are both lovely and the service and food were appreciated. My room seemed fine but there’s no powerpoint near the bed and the shower set up is weird. Do house staff ever check the batteries in the TV remote? No balcony as stated in the Trip booking. Avoid the over charging Tuk Tuk drivers out front and call a GRAB for better value transportation.

GGuest UserAn unfortunate experience, I found myself in the worst situation dealing with M Residence, as on the day of my check-in, the Sale Manager Vincent neglected to inform the receptionist about my booking, and instead of booking online for a fair rate, they wanted to charge me 50 USD per night, when it was only 24 USD online. Because the receptionist was new and unfamiliar with the process, she had to validate each step with her manager. It took me 45 minutes to check-in. The whole thing felt sketchy because I had to pay 130 USD with tax instead of 72 USD online with Airbnb small tax it would have cost max 86 USD if I recall. Anyway, I paid and received a very small room with hardly working air conditioning and filthy elevator. The swimming pool was breaking apart, and it appeared that the structure was inadequately maintained. There was no pool attendant, and no PH and CL analysis of the chemicals in the pool was available. The entire establishment is a shambles, and they definitely lack hospitality skills. Anyway I shared some information about my experience with the Manager who told me “The staff are so bad” I wanted to react and tell him that he should invest in training them but I could see there was no point in telling him has he clearly do not hold any sense of hospitality skills… The day before my departure I contact the “Receptionist Supervisor” and asked if I should do my check out now to collect my deposit back as I leave at 5:50 am and she informed to not to worry there is 24/7 staff at the lobby. Of course, the day of my check out there was no staff at the lobby to proceed my check-out so now they are ghosting me over 30 USD refund. In addition to all of this I intended to do a collaboration with the Sales manager upon my arrival a discount or free stay over some pictures which they gladly receive but never gave me proper feedback nor a compensation. M Residence is a disgrace to the hospitality industry in Cambodia. Their unethical practices and scams are not the way to conduct business.

JJDUBLYAWe had a few days in Phnom Penh then went to Vietnam and came back to Phnom Penh for another 4 nights and this is where we booked in. It is in a great position right in the middle of town hence we could nearly walk anywhere we wanted. Fantastic value for money including breakfast. The breakfast is very decent and it is a la carte.....with things like eggs bene, pancakes, asian breakfasts and you also get coffee, tea and juice. The room itself was very clean and the bed super comfortable. The previous place we had stayed the bed was hard as a rock. The rooms are decorated very nicely and the bathrooms are good too. You have dressing gowns etc, shampoo and soaps, fridge in the room, tissues and we had a balcony (not sure if all rooms have a balcony). The staff were always very helpful and super friendly. There is a small pool on the rooftop near the restaurant. There are only 4-5 lounge chairs but we always were able to get one when we wanted. It was never that crowded I guess because a lot of people are out and about during the day but it was so refreshing to have a pool when you came back from a day out sightseeing. There is also a coffee shop on the ground floor which is great just to grab a coffee when needed. We loved our stay at Lavanya Boutique Hotel and would not hesitate to recommend.
