We booked a private room for 1 king as a last minute extension of our ski trip to be close to hanazono ski resort. The common living room area/lobby is extremely cosy with complimentary hot tea and coffee that can be enjoyed by the fireplace throughout the day. Super comforting after a cold day out. We also got to meet the owner Cliff who helped us get to and back from the resort, train and neighbouring Kutchan for dinner. The inn team are also extremely helpful in making reservations and travel arrangements, which made a big difference since the area is much less convenient than hirafu. Complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. They have standard toast and cereal laid out. as well as a hot dish of scrambled eggs, pancakes etc brought to you when youre ready to eat. There is a shared laundry machine, as well as some snow toys and boardgames. Overall had a lovely time here. I felt taken care of. Had a really good experience and human touch. Thanks.

The most beautiful hotel in Niseko, suitable for family travel, great service, 5 minutes drive from the snow field, 15 minutes drive from JR, hotel pick-up, the main point is that the hotel has only six rooms, very quiet, the snow scene is very beautiful, you can pat Blockbuster, the hotel configuration is absolutely super five-star, the hair dryers are Dyson, the showers are bodyshop, the first two days of sliding in Ki niseco. Two days of snow, back pain, after switching to this hotel, stayed in the hotel for a day. Children make snowmen to play sleighs and take pictures. Children's happiest day, every time they pay special attention to the quality of the hotel. This is the first time to write a review, from the heart of the recognition, next time Hokkaido is the first choice
We spent 2 nights here in December to ski for the day at Niseko. The hotel worked perfectly for our family of 4 adults. There was enough room to spread out and socialize as well. We were impressed with the complimentary breakfast served right across the road at the sister hotel. We appreciated the free shuttle run up to the gondolas. We felt the rates were reasonable given that it was high season. The only thing to be aware of, if you don't have a car, it's a long hike up the hill to the bars/restaurants - and trying to navigate the snow/ice with suitcases in tow was quite a comedy show. We would happily stay here again if we were lucky enough to come to Niseko.
Location is good - (1) 2 minutes walk from Hirafu Intersection bus stop (2) slightly below 2 minutes to Momiji stop which is one of Hirafu free shuttle bus stop which you can conveniently travel around the area.
Room was spacious, cleanliness was tip top and provided with all necessary amenities. Their welcome gift really surprised us. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Shuttle service to the nearest train station was also available. Overall, we did enjoyed our stay 😊
I stayed for the consecutive holidays in October. When you enter the hotel, you can see Mt. Yotei beautifully in front of the lounge, which is a masterpiece. It is a small inn with 18 rooms. There are two types of guest rooms, Yama no Ma and Mizu no Ma, and this time we stayed in the Mizu no Ma. There was a semi-open-air hot spring between the bedroom, living room, and tatami mats. My impression was that it was spacious and had a lot of closets. However, since it was the room on the Mt. Yotei side, which was the furthest from the main building, the view of Mt. Yotei from the room was subtle because it was a low-rise building. The open-air bath is large enough for 2 to 3 people, and it is a luxury. I was also impressed with the food this time. I ate at the iron plate counter and Japanese cuisine (Japanese cuisine counter) instead of the dining room on both days, but I was surprised that there were two counters at a ryokan of this size. The teppanyaki was delicious, but the Japanese food was very high quality and I was able to enjoy a meal that I can't easily find in the city. It is impression that quantity of breakfast is few (because there are many elderly visitors?) if we say forcibly. I have stayed at Zaborin, Park Hyatt Niseko, Ritz-Carlton Reserve Niseko and this area in the past, but this is my favorite accommodation in this area.
We were greeted warmly at the front desk by Taito (cute Japanese boy who speaks good english with a Thai accent! I mean this as a compliment). Was pleasantly surprised when he allowed us to check in even though we were 2 hours early. Shortly after entering our room, Taito personally knocked on the door to give us some items which my parents requested. He was also standing out there in the bright sun to say goodbye when we were loading our luggages into the rental car after checking out. I rate Taito's service and attitude: 5 Stars!!!
Room had a kitchen with full set of appliances, utensils and crockery. Fridge had drinks, juices, milk, butter, jam, and even sausages for cooking. And there was a basket with cereal, apples, banana and 2 loaves of bread for our breakfast needs.
Overall, this was a very nice and enjoyable stay.
The only gripe I have is that the hotel did not allow me to make any change to my dates (not sure why as it was late April and not peak ski-ing season), even though I offered to make another booking first before cancelling(have done this sort of arrangement with other hotels in Hokkaido so I know it's possible).
It would have been perfect if the hotel can offer some flexibility to their guests. After all, plans do change due to various reasons. Hope to be back in future and see that they're more flexible the next time round. Till then, thank you and cheers =)

CCrys_I had such a wonderful stay at this very nice hotel. It was my first time staying in a pod like this and it was so much fun. Neighbors were very respectful with the noise level and I slept quite comfortably. The shared facilities were also gorgeous and the showers and bathrooms were very clean and tidy. The hotel also provides shuttle service to the Hirafu Welcome center every 30 minutes, which is very useful for snowboarding all day. They provide breakfast which is pretty good, but the dinner was much more delicious. I would definitely stay here again!
KKrubeeNestled in the middle of Grand Hirafu and Mt. Yotei (the Mt. Fuji of Hokkaido) mountains stands this quaint charming budget boutique hotel that provides both shared common rooms and private rooms to their guests. It is one of the most affordable and charming boutique budget hotel in Niseko that is conveniently located in Yamada intersection about 10 mins bus ride from JR Kutchan Station using Niseko express. The hotel also offers free pick-up from Hirafu Center or JR Kutchan station but you need to book a day in advance. The lobby is a bit spacious with the lounge and a lot of seating area greeting you. The cafe is just beside the lobby. Check-in and check-out are very fast and the staff speaks good English and provide you all the hotel rules. There is no elevator in the hotel so if you're in the 3F need to walk-up the stairs but the staff could also assist you. We booked a twin room that costs only 200 dollars overnight with a small single pane window with a view of the main road. The beds are single beds combined together but their comfortable and soft. The shower and toilet is just the right space but the water heating is very difficult to adjust specially the hot water by turning just a bit there is a huge difference. The toilet bowl's flush is also not accurately sprouting the right water in the right direction. But other than these the room is very clean and cozy for a cold winter's night. They provide slippers, mini fridge and space for your clothes/luggage and enough power outlets. The breakfast is so unique and cute - a combination of Western and Japanese dishes and their sumptuous. Salad is fresh, Rice is properly cooked and the dishes are absolutely flavourful. WiFi is a bit slow though. The best part if the location just in front of the hotel is a 7 eleven with lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Then behold the mountains behind the hotel on a clear day you will see the heavenly majestic amazingly wonderful Mt. Yotei, with its perfect pyramid cone shape they say it is the Mt. Fuji of Hokkaido. We are lucky to see it on our stay and we took hundreds of photos and videos and even walked into the back of the hotel walking along the creek and into the endless snow blanketed fields. If you look West from the hotel beholds Niseko Mt. Resort Grand Hirafu, a vast ski resort from the top of Mt. Annupuri. At the base lies the lovely Hirafu Village with many shops and restaurants along its path. There is a free shuttle bus from the hotel that goes to Hirafu Center and at the same your could also walk for about 15 mins from Hirafu Village back to the hotel. It is indeed a unique and memorable experience staying at this place and although we only stayed overnight it felt like days. One of the amazing dish we tried here is the famous Hokkaido Miso Butter Ramen, which is truly unique, refreshing and divine. Finally, if we ever go back to Niseko there is no doubt we will stay again here at My Ecolodge - a great place to be.
TTudou8888Overall very good. But strangely, the TV in the room will suddenly start broadcasting the program in the middle of the night...there is a sound...I don't know what's going on. .
PPin YiingCan not beat this location for this price. Stayed here 2 out of 3 trips to Niseko, and the only trip we didn't was because they had not reopened post covid when we booked. That trip was tough for us to carry all ski/snow equipment and lug a toddler around. This place, even without ski-in/out anymore is still super accessible to the slopes behind. Short walk down the hill, cut right between some buildings at you're at the foot of the hill with ski shops, schools and lifts.
There's a large convenience store that sells toiletries, bentos, snacks and a huge range of wines just across the street. Next to that is a very popular ramen shop with a 2-3 hour wait time. It works for us because we head there after the slopes, get a queue number, head back to the hotel to sit in front of the wood fireplace, have a shower, take a nap even then head back just in time for our queue number to be called. Couldn't ask for more.
O yes, the traditional wood fireplace is just amazing too.
GGuest UserThe room is very small, self-service check-in and check-out, the hygiene is good, but it is too small. There is a Chinese restaurant opposite the hotel that tastes good, and the Maoxuewang tastes very good
GGuest UserI stayed in the middle of the ski season in February 2023. Good points The exterior looks like a hot spring built during the bubble period compared to the surrounding hotels, and I thought it might be a loss at first glance. However, the interior was new and the inside of the room (although the rooms seem to be new and old) was modern and comfortable. The large communal bath is a hot spring and has an open-air bath. There were many people during the ski season, but the bathhouse was large so I was able to take a relaxing bath. The meal was a buffet, but it was relatively authentic, and the tempura and steak were delicious. It was more than expected. Bad places The correspondence of the staff (especially the receptionist) is subtle. Although it was full of many customers during the check-in time zone, the person in charge was only about 1-2 names. Moreover, there are many English / Chinese, but there are many staff in one word, and it took time to respond. Some people broke into the row and came in, but they weren't so concerned. Also, I only said that I needed guidance, and even if I asked where and when the bath was, I was only told ”it is written”. Anyway, if it is a cheap hotel overseas, I wanted to give a little more hospitality if it is a hotel of a certain rank in Japan. It's a ski / snowboard relationship, but lift tickets and rentals will be another building. It's not just this hotel, but it's a little far away, but I thought I would improve the convenience a little more. Also, this time was 1 night 2 5,000 yen with breakfast and dinner. I think it can't be helped, but I want it to be a place that Japanese people can enjoy.
GGuest UserOriginally booked a sky hotel half a year ago, the number of temporary customers changed, my room was given to the customer, there was no room in the snow resort hotel in the peak season, the first time I was fortunate to experience this youth hostel, although 4 people got in and out of a room, but with countries love to travel young people to drink together at night. It is a different experience. Drinking and playing cards with American girls, talking to Korean guys about ancient times. The boss Beijing guys, the people are very good, driving to the snow field for free in the morning, and returning to the hotel for free in the evening. We temporarily want to charter a car and introduce friends to us. Very attentive to operate, taste life, really recommend this hotel. I hope we have the opportunity to meet again.
GGuest UserIt's cheap anyway. It felt like a student camp, but there were also seniors staying there. It's a little outdated in some places, but there's no problem. Most of the staff are foreigners, and there are few who can speak Japanese. Many foreigners stay here. There was only a bath towel. You must wear shoes inside the building, so it is convenient to wear slippers. There aren't many outlets, so you'll need a power *****. Breakfast is good enough for that price. I couldn't find a microwave or TV in the building, but I wonder if they are on some floor.
GGuest UserVery good location close to Hanazono station, the place is easily accessible. It has a kitchen, bathrooms, showers, very comfortable rooms with bedding, mattresses, pillows, in excellent condition. The cleanliness of the toilets depends a lot on the care of the passengers, but ok. The kitchen is equipped, but the cleaning in it is also in the care of the guest and little assistance from the owner, surely an aspect that needs to be worked on. As well as leaving an email or wpp available for communication of entry, exit, parking.
greetings
