The old rooms and facilities are worth seeing and very stylish, our room had a great view. Our room was one of the most beautiful in which we have stayed in Europe. However, the service leaves a lot to wish, especially for the price of the night. Cocktails were good, food in the bar - again for the price and the hotel category - miserable. But the rooms and old sofas of the bar are worth a visit. The choice of breakfast is just appropriate once you have looked through the chic presentation of the buffet and the quality is not noticeable. However, the breakfast room is again impressive and moodful. The hotel is overlooking by external tourists at the daily afternoon tea, so you can luckyly have a table as a guest, but then there was only a limited selection of the cook menu on both days, Because everything was already sold out and that was not only at a late time. And here too you can wait for an everlasting service! Rooms were very well maintained, also friendly and helpful room girls. More than one night we would not recommend here, but well suited for a visit to the Pastor. Require the route plan before arrival, it is very helpful and urgently necessary for the tight one-way routes of the old town! But this is a good way for the route.

A decent hotel, close to the Central City Railway Station and right on the edge of the old town. It's easy to get in and out. It's a very suitable hotel for backpackers. It has a large public area on the ground floor and you can have breakfast next to the swimming pool. It's like a resort hotel in the old town. The hotels inside are all small in size, and they coincide with the annual Avignon Theater Festival. The advertisements all over the street are very atmospheric.

When we arrived at Le Magnan, we were warmly welcomed. Since we had reserved a parking place, the staff immediately provided us with directions. They also offered a quick overview of the old city, which helped us get familiar with the area quite quickly. The room is basic, but for the price we paid, it was as expected. However, the bed was uncomfortable, and the TV did not work. On the positive side, our room is located in the garden, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing. Additionally, the room has AC, making it an excellent choice for the hot summer in this area. Overall, while there were some drawbacks, the friendly staff, serene garden setting, and effective AC made our stay at Le Magnan pleasant.

Cost-effective, travel alone is also recommended, the front desk is good. Because I booked for one night, but I also needed to stay in Interlaken for most of the night the next day. So well located in the heart of the town, a two room apartment in an old monastery building which has been redone, and what an interior interesting decoration Michele has placed. We spent one night and did not have breakfast, although generously offered. Parking is 2 minutes away, very convenient. Certainly worth staying there.

The transportation is very convenient, suitable for self-driving travel, the Pope's Palace is open for 10 minutes. Ducks are arranged for dinner, with good red wine and cheese, a completely different experience.

A very special hotel, the Cardinal's private house 600 years ago, was purchased by the current family more than 100 years ago and opened as a hotel after being renovated. There are 5 all-suite hotels, a restaurant and two living rooms on the first floor, full of modern art decoration, everywhere show the taste of the owner. The room is biased towards classical and natural style. The room is large. There is a small room to put luggage at the door. The wash basin is a large iron shell. The bathtub is very deep and it is very comfortable to sit down. The garden is very large, known as the largest private garden in Avignon, with hundreds of years of eucalyptus trees, palms, a small bamboo forest, and even a goldfish pond. When the wind blows, the sound of the tree makes people fascinated. On one side of the garden is a small but delicate swimming pool surrounded by flowers and trees. The hotel does not provide lunch and dinner, but it is very close to the city center and it is very convenient to go out to eat. There are not many breakfast options, but the quality is very good. The bread is organic cereal, fresh and delicious, you can call it an omelette or scrambled eggs. This hotel is definitely the first choice for Avignon, you can experience the pure French style.
