"Cost-effective, travel alone is also recommended, the front desk is good.
Because I booked for one night, but I also needed to stay in Interlaken for most of the night the next day. I was worried about the luggage problem. The front desk was very refreshing and let it be stored. Breakfast is average, but cost-effective, generally recommended"
"Beautiful, poorly managed hotel with a very good location directly opposite the exit from the Pope's Palace. The old rooms and facilities are worth seeing and very stylish, our room had a great view. Our room was one of the nicest we have stayed in in Europe. The service, however, leaves a lot to be desired, especially for the price of the night. We spent two nights here, had to look for employees several times each evening to be able to place our orders in the bar and then had to deal with unfriendly and unmotivated employees. Cocktails were good, food in the bar - again for the price and hotel category - miserable. The rooms and old sofas in the bar are worth a visit, however. The selection at breakfast is just adequate if you can get past the chic presentation of the buffet, and the quality is not remarkable either. The breakfast room, however, is again impressive and atmospheric. The hotel is overrun with tourists from outside the area for the daily afternoon tea, so if you're lucky you can get a table as a hotel guest, but then on both days there was only a limited selection of the cake menu, as everything was already sold out and not just at a late hour. And here too you can wait forever for unfriendly service! The rooms were very well maintained, and the chambermaids were friendly and helpful. We wouldn't recommend staying more than one night here, but it's good for a visit to the Pope's Palace. Make sure you ask for the route map before you arrive, it's very helpful and absolutely necessary for the narrow one-way streets in the old town! But it makes getting there easy."

"A very well located hotel with very nice staff at reception and breakfast service.
The reception and lounge areas are nice and well decorated.
Rooms are renovated but not to high standards and bed is very uncomfortable sadly... So rooms does not reflect a 4 star hotel.
However reception area and breakfast are not bad.
A mixed experience but fir the price it was ok if we consider this hotel a 3 star quality hotel."
"Because it was a summer check-in and the first floor of the room, I found a lot of ants and other insects because it was a holiday season. The hotel was full of business. The rooms were full and could only be sprayed with the insecticide provided. There is no way to understand the place."
"The owner of the house is an artist who lived in China for 9 years, and the interior is filled with many Chinese elements. The host was very considerate and enthusiastically introduced the attractions, restaurants and transportation routes of A**ong, and also prepared lemonade. The hotel is in a great location, just inside the city wall, only a 15-minute walk from the centre train station, and all attractions are within walking distance"
"The hotel is located in the old city and needs to find a place to park by yourself. But fortunately, we can find a nearby location every time. The hotel room was rebuilt from an old house, the bathroom was slightly smaller, but it was not worth mentioning compared to the style of the old city. Bathing is enough. The room intimately adds heating equipment in different locations, so there is no need to worry about the cold in winter. There is also a family-style breakfast, elegant and delicious. The boss is very interesting and will introduce the hotel and nearby dining very interestingly. Warm and rich in French humor, it is a very good person. Usually walking to the nearby church market or the papal palace is very close. We drove to Arles and Stone City, also within an hour. It is recommended to experience the style of the medieval ancient city."
"A hotel that is solemnly recommended, the owner is very enthusiastic, the decoration is a bit ancient, but the facilities are completely modern, the room is oversized, and there is a terrace, which is thoughtful and comprehensive for the guests. The transportation is very convenient, suitable for self-driving travel, the Pope's Palace is open for 10 minutes. Ducks are arranged for dinner, with good red wine and cheese, a completely different experience."

Amazing
GGuest UserThe room is located in a quiet alley. It is easy to walk through because it is not the hotel you imagine. The door is quite small. It is a converted residential building. The room is fully equipped and very convenient in the ancient city. The handsome guy provided good service and helped with parking. He drove the car to the door early in the morning. The service was thoughtful and it was a perfect experience!

Amazing
GGuest UserThis is a treasure hotel, the space is very large, clean and elegant, and it is very comfortable to bring a small courtyard. Very good value for money place. The service attitude is very good, can communicate in English, at least the two receptions I encountered have no problems. The hotel is a courtyard type, the reception will lead you to see the room, otherwise you will not find it.
IIrisTuSuper convenient as it is close to the train station. Rooms are big and clean. Good price. Highly recommend if you want to leverage Avignon as the stay point to explore nearby cities like Nimes, Arles etc. The hotel also provides 1-day trip brochures from other third parties.
NNat 李凤临One tiny elevator, many stairs, and outdated magnetic key cards that too often don’t work, spoiled my first positive impression. One morning I came down to the reception three times and eventually the receptionist went upstairs with me to help. But I almost missed my paid tour.
The front desk and house keeping staff was always smiling, pleasant, and willing to help.
The room was small yet charming, very tidy and clean, with a great view of the central square. Windows with good insulation so the noise from the street was minimal. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom small but with a tub!
The breakfast hall was gorgeous and the breakfast decent, with mainly French pastry and desserts, besides cheese, ham, pastry (breads and sweets) and some fruit and vegetables.
Besides the renovated facilities and excellent location, there is no pool, sauna, spa, gym or any other amenities that would qualify this as a 4* hotel.
Also, I forgot my iPad in the room safe when I checked out. The hotel contacted me and offered to send it to my new destination. However, they did not actually send it by express mail even though they said that they did. My iPad arrived to Montpellier after I had already left. I waited for it three days ( it’s 1h away) but because they didn’t check the SEND ON SATURDAY option on the mailing form, the device spent the weekend in the post office.
The fee that they asked me to I pay was 37€ because as they said it was sent express mail and with insurance - however when I asked the hotel in Montpellier to send it to Barcelona (another country and 3,5h away) I paid almost the same amount!? Plus the hotel used “peek’in” service so I immediately had insight into the delivery progress online.
The worst thing for me was that they kept on sending emails insisting they were right and tried their best to help, instead of admitting they made a mistake. I appreciate their effort but it’s better to work smart rather than hard. Instead of having to thank someone for trying I need my iPad delivered to me on time. Perhaps there are too many women in the management that are taking things too personally? 🤷🏼♀️

GGuest UserThe hosts were incredibly welcoming and gave us a nice tour of the property upon arrival. Although we only stayed for one night and didn’t get a chance to use the facilities—such as the movie room, co-working space, and gym—the studio was spacious, air-conditioned, and came with free parking. It’s a convenient base for exploring the charming small towns surrounding Avignon.
Just a heads-up: the shower area is completely open to the rest of the room, which might not suit everyone’s preferences.
DDamianThere was no bottled water in the room, and there were no disposable slippers. I didn't feel anything, but when I checked out, I saw that the linen had slippers, which made me feel uncomfortable. Maybe it was a work mistake, who knows?
If you want to park, or have luggage handling, you really have to be cautious, parking buildings and hotels are not easy to find, medieval brick roads, suitcases are difficult to walk.

SSHENGXINThis hotel is very nice, with a separate yard, very quiet. Not far from the central station and the Palais des Papes, but also with a kitchen, you can eat it yourself. If you check in later than 7pm, the hotel will send you an email in the afternoon to inform you of the check-in method. It is very detailed. If the check-out time is earlier than the hotel front desk, please put the room card in the room and close the door. . The only bad thing is that there are no slippers. Take it with you. The hotel has its own car park, but it is estimated that it must be booked in advance, not much location.

RROCKmaoRoom Typical European Hotel Small Room
Fortunately, the location is very convenient, within 20 minutes walk from the high-speed rail station
It takes ten minutes to walk to Carrefour Burger King, which is very convenient.
However, the room does not have a bathroom, it needs to be partitioned in the public toilet, shower and toilet, the temperature is low in winter is inconvenient
PPaopaopengpengThe location is quiet and it is very convenient to visit the ancient city. As soon as I arrived at the hotel, the owner enthusiastically took out a map to explain in detail what attractions and how to route. But overall it is more like a homestay. Every day, there is a afternoon at 4-7 to check in, and you must check out at 11 noon. Our room was arranged in the attic, which is the third floor. We needed to carry our luggage up the narrow stairs. The sewer in the room smelled, and there was no ventilation system. It felt a bit stinky when sleeping, and the clothes could not be dried at all. At first, I saw the sign in the bathroom saying that the hot water should not be turned on for more than 4 minutes. I still felt strange. Later, I saw the electric water heater in the public toilet on the first floor. I understood that it may be because more than a dozen rooms share a water heater and limited hot water. Overall, the price/performance ratio is OK.

NNadezdaWe used this hotel as a stopover on our way to the south. It generally met our expectations - clean, basic, and a bit worn out. For a solo traveler/ woman may be a bit scary because the location is isolated. Automatic check-in may be tricky (made it from the 3 attempt).
