Excellent
OOlgaI really enjoy to stay in this hotel, located in the historical part of the city just below the castle (10 min walk to the gates). The room was very clean and comfortable, with a coffee machine- which was a very nice surprise 😃. The hosts are very friendly, giving recommendations on the restaurants and cafes nearby, always welcoming and ready to help. The breakfast is good! Breakfast location is so nice and cozy that I enjoyed just to sit there)) There is a bell tower nearby, so every hour you hear this time-bell, but it tolls only during the day and +100 points to the atmosphere
Definitely recommend!
AAnonymous UserNice hotel in Narbonne! Just 10 mins walk from the station, 5 mins walk to the city center, staffs were friendly, the room was clean and spacious! There was an equipped kitchen in the room, almost everything, including a tiny dish washer, and there were few supermarkets & restaurants nearby. Security level was high, and it even located next to the police station. The bed was comfortable, price is reasonable, everything was good! Highly recommended!
GGuest UserExcellent hotel right by the bridge to the Carcassonne fortress. The windows overlook the fortress. Large room, bath - not shower, separate toilet. For those who care - no overhead light, only sconces and a floor lamp. A gorgeous varied breakfast with hot, French cheese, jamon, pancakes, etc. In summer, breakfast on the terrace overlooking the castle. The train station is a 20-minute walk, almost always along a pedestrian street.
GGuest UserFor those who want to spend their time exploring the walled city, this hotel is a 5-10 minute walk away. Parking is provided in two outdoor lots, but spaces are not monitored for those occupying more than one space and getting a space seems to be a matter of luck. Don’t count on the included parking being available or convenient. There is, however, sufficient room for large delivery trucks to arrive at 0200 to deal with laundry. That happens right outside hotel rooms so be prepared for an interrupted sleep. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. The maintenance and housekeeping staff are friendly, helpful and responsive. The breakfast is a disappointment with few choices, uncomfortable seating, and staff that seems unhappy to be there. Do not eat dinner at the hotel. It is overpriced, with mediocre food and the same uncomfortable chairs and unhappy staff. Front desk staff is inconsistent, with some friendly and helpful and others bordering on rude and hostile. There are better choices, I think.
YYONGMEIHotel location is a short distance from the castle, breakfast is standard, the room is OK, but the price of the hotel in the peak season has also risen.
GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel for one night, Bastille Day. The room was very nice, albeit the bathroom was small. The pool was great to cool down at and the bar service was excellent, with views of the castle walls. Many people watched the spectacular fireworks from here.
GGuest UserVery warm welcome, ideal location, and the room is perfect.
The swimming pool was originally a plus, but we did not use it for more than 10 minutes and the water was cold because there is no locker or locker for the loan of bathrobes would be a plus to visit it from the room.
GGuest UserThe reservation and payment were made in advance, and the check in was only at 15h. However, when I arrived the door was locked and there was absolutely no one to deliver the room key. I waited outside for a while, along with other guests who could not enter, and at a certain point a couple of guests came to the hotel and the place where the keys were. I was lucky to be there when it happened, because I called the hotel and no one answered me, and I didn't receive the input code even the hotel had my email and phone. In addition to this horrible situation to get into the hotel, you need to buy the kit to clean the kit at the reception. The bathroom was more or less functional and the cleaning was not 100% good. The only advantage I saw in hosting in this hotel was the location.
GGuest UserGreat budget hotel, and they even have pool, though we didn’t use it. Conveniently located just off the roadway and near shops, supermarkets and petrol station, but quiet nevertheless. The staff were very friendly and kind. We had air conditioning issues with our room on the second night and they immediately changed our room. Breakfast was good. It’s the second time we stayed here. We will come again when in the area.
