We lived in the part that is across the road from the sea, we took it without food, because the price is not competitive with food, the Internet was excellent, but we specifically asked for a room near the reception, the room is good, the cleaning is super, the pools are not heated, but the sea is not far away. We booked a room in the adults-only area at Swissotel Sharm El Sheikh with my wife for our 10th wedding anniversary. This is our fifth visit to Egypt, and we have stayed in different hotels before. Unfortunately, our experience was limited to just a couple of days, as we were forced to change hotels. The main reason was the road noise. The adult section is located right facing a high-traffic road, which we were unaware of when booking. The noise from cars and other traffic can be heard in the rooms even when the balcony door is closed. We asked to change rooms but quickly realized that all adult rooms face the road, and there's no escape from the noise. After half a day of back-and-forth phone calls and a very pleasant conversation with the client relations team, we finally managed to switch to the Rixos Sharm Adult hotel. However, the hotel has many other issues. It's not a new hotel, as it was initially sold to us. Swissotel has taken it over from someone else, and the buildings and rooms are outdated and worn out. The beach is far from both sides, and on the way to the beach, there's an empty ghost section of vacant hotels that seem to belong to another hotel. The hotel appears overcrowded, and there was complete chaos in the large restaurant – for the first time in years, not a single server approached us during our two-day stay. There were no plates, and we wouldn't want to be here with children either. This might be one of the worst experiences we've had in Egypt. It has never happened before that upon arrival at the hotel, we were guided to our room with the words, ”you have a very good room, one of the best,” only to find people already in the room when we got there.

Really nice hotel, I have throughly enjoyed my holiday. The staff are very very friendly and helpful. The entertainment team here are brilliant, the whole team are so good with us. I really like the layout of the the hotel, it's so spacious and there's always something going on

This hotel has a special party time, which only starts on Thursday night and Sunday night. It ends at 3:00 am the next day. If you have friends who like it, you can choose this. It is free to participate if you stay in the hotel. I stayed for four nights and caught up with it twice. The characteristics of each time were different. The dance area and the residential area are separated. The hotel still protects the residential area very well. There are people watching over it. It is not easy for strangers to come to the residential area. It is still relatively safe. It is usually very quiet. It has its own beach area. It is very close to walk there. It is very convenient to watch the sea and swim every day.

I came here for the corals, but the corals and fish near the shore are not as beautiful as those seen at sea. The main reason for snorkeling at the hotel is convenience. The beauty of the corals: out to sea > one near the reef oasis > one near the cliff bar The most surprising thing is the food here. Because there are Chinese chefs, there are always a few dishes that are very suitable for your taste every day. As soon as you see the chef flipping the spoon, you know it's stable

The hotel generally tries to provide the best service in terms of cleaning, including the maintenance of the surrounding green areas, and the staff do their job at the best level.
