Hotel Green Tower Makuhari
"This was my second time staying at Green Tower Makuhari, and once again I had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent — it’s very close to Kaihin-Makuhari Station, making it extremely convenient for getting around. One of the best parts is that Mitsui Outlet Park is right in front of the hotel, which is perfect for shopping and dining without needing to go far. Transportation is also very convenient, with a direct subway/train keiyo line connection to Tokyo Disneyland and also goes directly to tokyo station as well , making this hotel a great choice for Disney visitors as well. Overall, it’s a comfortable hotel with a great location, and the fact that I chose to stay here again says a lot. I would definitely recommend it for both leisure and short trips."

ROYAL PINES HOTEL CHIBA
"Everything was good but the fact that the restaurant on site was closing when they wanted. Refused to serve us dinner because they had some resort people having dinner. Closed one hour early another night. Otherwise the hotel and location it is very good. If you don’t have coins can’t use laundry. And they don’t speak much English so they don’t help. But overall good hotel. Many restaurants around. Rooms small. It clean. Will stay again"

Hotel Sunroute Chiba
"The strongest point of the hotel is the location. It is just on top of Chiba JR station. It is super convenient, especially in rainy days. There is a convient store and a drug store just downstairs, and a Daiso 100 yen store across the road. They used to have staff do the check in procedure. However it changed to self check in from last year. You may need some time to figure out how to check in. However keep in mind that this is basically a business hotel. Don't expect many amenities."
Hotel New Otani Makuhari

ORDA hotel Chiba chuo
"It is an awesome place to stay. Everyday cleaning as you instructed (using their symbols). They have as well washing machine (you can buy detergent and softener at the reception). They change and refill what was used or consumed (water, tea and etc.). They struggle in English a bit (it’s fine). Definitely recommend this place if ever the other place is expensive. 🙏😇"
GRAND PARK HOTEL PANEX CHIBA
"A bit out of the way"
HOTEL LiVEMAX BUDGET Chiba Mihama
"Compared to other Livmax hotels I've stayed in, this one is the cleanest! Very satisfied!"
Famy Inn Makuhari
"It’s an older motel with front of house staff that have been working in the hospitality industry for a while. I arrived before the check in time (3pm ~), I was checked in just before 3pm which I didn’t expect. Courteous, friendly staff. Breakfast was included in the 2 night stay - it was a simple Japanese meal that was easy sustenance - free servings of rice and soup. The staff made it a homely atmosphere with constant attention to guests asking them if they wanted more of what was available. Room 720 faced the busy Highway but also had a great view that included sky tree. I could open the large single pane window and thought it was a unique point. Cleaning staff were mainly foreign, all young and polite also. They knocked on doors to ask if rubbish needed removing and rooms cleaned. I didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant on 10F or the public bath and sauna - maybe next time. suggestions: (1) housekeeping: a quick dusting by cleaning staff (feather duster if not wet tissues) - the hotel is clean and even though it isn’t a 5 star hotel it makes a difference. The feather duster can easily reach corners of drawers and tables. Bathroom air filters can easily be cleaned with wet tissues. (2) room cards for cleaning- more specific than a don’t disturb card. it will save time for housekeepers as they knock on room doors to ask if rooms need to be cleaned. They can focus on cleaning and do a better job on a hotel that has been kept going for a while."
Hotel Shuranza Chiba
"Location is a bit far away from the train station. Small hotel but good service. Room size is so so, can’t expected much in Japan hotel."

Hotel BaliAn Resort Chiba - Family Kids Group Concept
"I think I had one of the worst experiences every in this hotel. Beginning with the check in literally had around three bags to take into hotel and few bags with duty free goods. And I wasn’t helped by any staff at all, which is fine as I had my friend who was dropping me off there and he asked the receptionist if he could go and help and she said ok. However later on was approached by an another guy at reception saying that I’d need to pay more as I got someone else to enter my bedroom and that was just ridiculous. When I asked to call the lady who allowed by friend to enter he started saying that he shift is over and left and that I’d still required to pay. I refused to pay another 80 dollars AU additionally as I had already paid for my five nights of stay and with his poor English it didn’t help at all. Pretty much zero English. Thank god Google translate exists. After sometime when I refused to pay they called police and things escalated so much so that I had to spent over 5 hours that night to sort things out. Long travel , tired body and mind now didn’t even had a hotel anymore. Refused to refund my money as it was non refundable and snatched the key from my hand gave me 15 min to pack and leave the hotel. This has got to be worst start of the trip ever. Just be aware and if you can book hotel elsewhere and not here"
