Amazing
Ggirlbishotel location was literally a 3 min walk from chiba station and was super easy to navigate to! there’s also a family mart and 7-11 nearby
all the staff were super friendly and spoke english well! the hotel room was neat and tidy, and amenities were great :) would totally stay again!!
GGuest UserThis hotel is right above a subway station, which is super convenient for getting around. However, for this Kanto trip, several hotels, including this one, used self-service check-in kiosks, which I found a bit inconvenient and lacking a personal touch. Last year, all the hotels in the Kanto region had manual check-ins, which felt much better. The picture is of the Hoki Museum in Chiba, which was also the reason I stayed here for a night.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very convenient for transportation. It is a 10-minute walk from the east exit of Chiba Station. It is very close to a small supermarket, which is very convenient for shopping and breakfast. The management is also very good. There is a large free dining area downstairs with a microwave, hot water and tableware for guests to use.
The room itself is very comfortable, with all the facilities that a single person should have, but it seems that the room booked by Ctrip is x04, which Japanese people don’t like, and there is a very obvious odor in the room on the 6th floor, probably from the carpet. In order to eliminate this smell, I have to open the window as much as possible and keep the air purifier on. In contrast, the room on the 5th floor where my friend lives does not have this problem. I hope the hotel can improve this problem on the 6th floor.
AAnonymous UserBreakfast was better than I thought.
The receptionist was also good and good impression.
The air conditioning in the hallway was too effective to feel the temperature difference with the room
GGuest UserI stayed here to take part in an event at Makuhari Messe.
It's a little far from the station, but it was helpful that a shuttle bus came to pick me up every 20 minutes.
The bus driver and front desk staff were all very friendly.
I was very grateful that they could store my luggage for me after checking out.
The room was nicely cleaned, and the bathtub was spacious and very relaxing.
There was an outlet by the bed, and it was convenient to be able to plug in a USB.
There was a mirror on the wall and a mirror on the stand, which was great.
I wish there was a full-body mirror as well.
I'd like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.
GGuest UserI booked a non-smoking single room on Trip.com and it was confirmed without issues. There are English-speaking staff at this hotel. They were helpful and allowed me and my friends to keep our luggage in their back room when we arrived too early for check-in. Although we came back late, check-in was seamless and we received our room key cards quickly. There is a 9000 Yen fine for losing a room key card. For a single room, the toilet with bathroom and shower would be a bit small if a guest is tall or heavily built. I'm petite, so I had no problems with the toilet. Bed looks like a super single and is quite comfortable with 2 mid-size pillows and a small cushion.
The cafe at the hotel was closed throughout my stay, but the hotel is a short walk from Chibaminato train station and there is a supermarket, bakery and soba place there, so it is very convenient to find food quickly.
초초코릿The room was the same size as other business hotels, and although it was a little far from the station, it was easy to find as it was along the road.
When I entered the room after checking in, it smelled strongly of cigarette paper, so I wish there had been a bit more ventilation. This was disappointing as I hate the smell of cigarette paper and smoke iQOS.
AAnonymous UserI used it for a concert at Makuhari Messe! It was close to the station and very convenient! The price was reasonable, so I'd like to use it again!
AAnonymous UserI found a room here for the night. I imagined the room would be like a business hotel, but it was quite spacious and comfortable. It was larger than other Toyoko Inns. I thought there would be mineral water in the refrigerator, so I was disappointed that there wasn't. Make sure you buy some before you stay. The free breakfast was delicious. They had sardine meatball soup, and I had a second helping. It's probably homemade by the hotel.
LLini KaloumairaIt’s an older motel with front of house staff that have been working in the hospitality industry for a while. I arrived before the check in time (3pm ~), I was checked in just before 3pm which I didn’t expect. Courteous, friendly staff.
Breakfast was included in the 2 night stay - it was a simple Japanese meal that was easy sustenance - free servings of rice and soup. The staff made it a homely atmosphere with constant attention to guests asking them if they wanted more of what was available.
Room 720 faced the busy Highway but also had a great view that included sky tree. I could open the large single pane window and thought it was a unique point.
Cleaning staff were mainly foreign, all young and polite also. They knocked on doors to ask if rubbish needed removing and rooms cleaned.
I didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant on 10F or the public bath and sauna - maybe next time.
suggestions:
(1) housekeeping: a quick dusting by cleaning staff (feather duster if not wet tissues) - the hotel is clean and even though it isn’t a 5 star hotel it makes a difference. The feather duster can easily reach corners of drawers and tables. Bathroom air filters can easily be cleaned with wet tissues.
(2) room cards for cleaning- more specific than a don’t disturb card. it will save time for housekeepers as they knock on room doors to ask if rooms need to be cleaned. They can focus on cleaning and do a better job on a hotel that has been kept going for a while.
