Business Hotels in Ljubljana

We were placed at this hotel after our EasyJet flight was cancelled. We arrived midday not expecting to be able to check in until 3PM however as soon as we arrived they informed us the room would be ready in 30 minutes- which was fantastic! The room was incredibly modern, clean and spacious with all amendments being to a high quality. The food including the breakfast was superb. Staff were friendly and helpful and we were thankful of them after a stressful morning! Cannot fault this hotel at all!

Good location for getting to Ljubliana, or catching the freeway for excursions. Free parking onsite!! Rooms were good and had all the basics. If you can upgrade to a suite, they are great. Sauna was hot, clean and not another person in sight. Breakfast has many options, both hot and cold. Omelets can be made to order and are served hot! One morning we were surprised with octopus ”carpaccio” - delicious. The best surprise was when we were not motivated to leave the hotel for dinner - so we tried the Robin Restaurant - the hotel's main restaurant. We were hesitant but found all of the food freshly prepared and at a high level of quality. The service was excellent too and our server knew the menu and dish contents as if she herself were preparing the plates! The prices were very reasonable for the food that was served - on hot plates - as it should be! Highly recommended!!

Very good staff. The Best. All team is the very very good. Best choix of the hôtel. Everything is good. Personnelle très gentille. Check in check out is fast. Continue comme ça avec votre boulot. Déjeuner aussi super bon

Very nice hotel with perfect good location. The room is clean and tidy . Air conditioner works so well ( it is quite important during summer time) The gym is so good but the equipment is a bit old. Staffs are helpful. Breakfast is good with many choices. Only one drawback is the bell sounds at night , rings every 30 mins . Except this, hotel is prefect .

The room is large, very simple, there is enough space for luggage, when booking the room, I recommend everyone to order meals, because there are fewer places to eat nearby... The hotel's meal is a buffet and it is delicious.

ATTENTION !!! Nous avons réservé deux nuits sur Ljubana dans cet hébergement, dans un premier temps via booking, ma carte étant refusée (en cause une opposition car celle-ci a été piratée), j’ai donc directement appelé le propriétaire afin de refaire une réservation et donc lui donner une nouvelle emprunte bancaire. Nous avons été débité du montant et même 100€ de plus qui était annoncé sur booking !!! Tout a été confirmé, nous avons reçu une confirmation ainsi qu’un lien avec nº de réservation, 3 semaines avant notre arrivée. Arrivées depuis Bohinj vers 18h30 et fatiguées de la route, le propriétaire nous ouvre la porte de façon très désinvolte, pas vraiment digne d’un accueil. On comprends qu’il faut un code pour accéder à la résidence et notre incompréhension semble le déranger. Nous nous annonçons en lui donnant notre nom et nº de réservation. A son visage nous savons immédiatement vu qu’il y a un problème ! Il nous explique qu’enfaite notre réservation n’a pas été prise en compte et de surplus que c’est de notre faute ! Je lui explique que travaillant dans l’hôtellerie la faute ne nous revenait pas mais que c’était lui qui n’avait pas fermé sa chambre avec booking quand il a pris en compte notre réservation ! Vous l’aurez compris, nous sommes face à un surbooking ! En plein été alors qu’il y a très peu d’hébergement sur la capitale ! Je lui explique qu’il doit absolument nous reloger ! Il fait mine d’appeler un confrère et nous explique qu’il n’y a plus de place. Il m’explique qu’il nous rembourse sur le champs et je comprends aussi qu’il ne compte pas faire plus d’efforts pour nous reloger. Je lui montre que sur booking il y a des hébergements et qu’il doit nous reloger. Sur quoi il refuse en me disant que je suis particulièrement osé de lui présenter un hôtel 4 étoiles ! Je lui demande alors de trouver la même prestation qu’il propose ! Sauf que vous l’aurez compris il n’y avait plus rien à moins de 200€/nuit. Nous insistons et il refuse et ne reconnaît absolument pas son erreur, il nous dit même que c’est de la nôtre ! Il nous propose la ‘petite’ chambre de sa fille, et nous lance qu’elle ira dormir dans un camping ! Très honteux de sa part ! Il finit par tourner ses talons et courir vers des escaliers en nous laissant en plan, sans solution ! En lisant les précédents commentaires, je comprends que je ne suis pas la seule, il y a un mois quelqu’un s’est retrouvé dans la même situation. Morale de l’histoire, il faut se méfier de cet homme et de cet hébergement. ATTENTION !!!

We had high expectations of this hotel and the staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. However, there were some problems which we had not expected in an inner city hotel. We went out for a meal both nights of our stay and when we got back around 9.45 we fancied a drink only to find the bar closed at 10.00pm. On the first night we did have time for a glass of wine but on the second we were told the bar was closed. This was disappointing as we had already been out and did not want to go out again. We had one full day in Ljubljana and the weather was glorious. When we went back to the hotel after being out all day we wanted to go into the Terrace Bar and sit outside with a drink and to read a book. When we approached the entrance to the bar there was a barrier across it. We asked the reception staff if we could go up but were told it was closed for a photo shoot. This is not what we expected on a hot afternoon. The information from the hotel also said there was a restaurant but when we asked were told it was only for group bookings. These little touches make a difference and consequently we would not stop at this hotel again.

We just stayed there for one night but the location was great to explore Ljubljana. Beds inside the room were extreme good for an hotel.Reception&service were really friendly. I defeinetly can recommend this place. Only small negative point. Parking lot beside the hotel with 25 Euro per day is not so cheap.

Stayed our last two nights of a 17 day European trip. Typical Intercontinental Hotel: service excellent, nice rooms (we were upgraded to a suite using AMEX PLATINUM card), excellent gym, good breakfasts. They provided a very generous ”breakfast in a box” for our very early checkout (5:30am) to get an early flight on our last day. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom great.

The hotel is pretty nice, though I’m not sure I’d choose the interior design colors. Room was clean when I first got it. Bathroom door wasn’t closing properly. Lots of TV channels to choose from. The walls are thin- you hear a lot of corridor noise. In general I had good time in spite of a very unpleasant incident with the receptionists (they apologized later). I wouldn’t pay extra for a castle view room as I did this time. It’s really not too impressive as you can see yourselves in the picture. Breakfast was good. Reasonable variety and fresh. Location is good. They started a pilot where they only clean your room upon request. I love the plan but! When I did ask to clean it, my mouth washing glass wasn’t changed and the room wasn’t as clean as when I first got it. I’m quite specific person and my standards are high but I do recommend this hotel in spite of the deficiencies. It’s not much to improve and I hope it will. If you’re sensitive to noise, it might not be suitable for you.
