"My stay at the Ibis Hostel was very pleasant. The cabin concept is brilliant — very convenient if you're traveling on a budget but still want some privacy. The bed is big and comfortable, and the facilities are nice and cosy. The location is excellent, just a short 4-10 minute walk from the city’s main highlights. Guests have access to the kitchen, and I saw many people making use of it. The dining area is rather minimal. I didn't get to try the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. I was very happy they had an iron available, which came in very handy. If I return to Ljubljana, I would definitely stay here again 😊"

If you have time schedule a visit to castle and take the train to the top. You can walk up and walk down but be warned it's steep. A river flows thru the main square area were you can find many great restaurants. Hotel was excellent with friendly and helpful staff. Look forward to returning someday as a tourist."

"Excellent hotel, in a great central location. The staff were all wonderful. Gregor was especially helpful and knew a lot about the history of the hotel. Our room was beautiful and very well maintained. Breakfast was awesome and you must eat dinner at least once in the restaurant. We had 3 nights in the city which was more than enough and we are very glad we went to the Postojna caves on a Sunday morning because there isn't a huge amount to do in the city (as it's small). The caves were amazing! We found all the local people were polite and pleasant too. A nice little city break, if you'd also like to relax, and you've perhaps ticked a lot of the major European cities off your list already."
